ABSTRACT Over time the health care needs requires nurses have the knowledge and skills in various fields. One important aspect of nursing is a family. The family is the smallest unit in society. Learning practices used in adult learning and Lifelong Learning. Through the learning process of students supposedly able to use the critical thinking in analyzing and addressing the issue, ideas and expectations and reality. Reflection is one of the learning methods to improve the performance of a professional nurse. The goal gave lessons to students about the importance of culturally sensitive approaches with respect to ethnicity, religion of assessment stage. In the clinical practice of students using the method of observation conditions of real client families with home care visit. In the assessment process required several ways including good language, used clothes neatly, using the call or the name of good, intonation. Concepts and principles relevant to the assessment norms that must be demonstrated include maintaining eye contact, do not be turned, maintain privacy, the use of body language. Family nursing care that has been done during the stase family nursing is the problem of hypertension. There are ethical dilemmas in family nursing care services carried facilitate autonomy regarding issues with veracity problem.
