Using SmartParts, you can quickly create realistic, high-quality planning documents while reducing the risk of errors to a minimum. System requirements for Edition 2012

Hardware requirements
Minimum setup:
Intel Core 2 processor or compatible 2 GB RAM 5 GB free hard disk space DirectX 10-compatible graphics card, resolution: 1280 x 1024; certification: www.nemetschek.de/services/support/hardwarerequirements.html E-mail or USB connection for installing the license file DVD ROM drive (for the installation)

When it comes to calculating hidden line images, shadows and rendered images, Allplan Precast 2012 fully exploits the benefits of multiprocessing systems or multi-core processors. This considerably reduces the computation time required (provided your computer is equipped with the appropriate hardware).

How to install
We strongly recommend you to back up your data and to save this data set before you begin installing Allplan Precast 2012! The install.chm file on the Allplan Precast 2012 DVD (\Helpfiles\English) provides additional, detailed, up-to-date information on installing and upgrading standalone workstations and network versions. In addition, it includes notes on backing up and transferring settings. We strongly recommend that you read this file before you install, in particular when you are working in a network environment. In a network environment (common database), you can only work with one main release version. You therefore need to upgrade all workstations to Allplan Precast Edition 2012. Before you start installing, make sure that all workstations can be upgraded. During upgrading, Allplan Precast version 2008 or edition 2010 must not be active on any workstation. When you install with Workgroup Manager, all workstations must be checked in while you are upgrading.

Data conversion
The data from older Allplan Precast versions need to be converted to edition 2012. For projects opened in Allplan Precast 2012, this data conversion is effected automatically. Please refer to our Support team for instructions on how to convert all projects at once.
