Functional principle Up to five positions Z1 Z5 can be approached by connecting two to five cylinders with the same piston diameter and different stroke lengths in series. Example: ADNM-, with 5 positions 0 0 Z1 Z2 Z3 Z4 Z5 Initial position Position 1 Position 2 Position 3 Position 4 Position 5
The following rules must be observed to ensure the functionality of the cylinder: Rules 1 The subsequent position (e.g. Z4) must be greater than the sum of the preceding position (Z3) plus the positional tolerance T ( 3) Zn > Zn1 + Tn1 2 The sum of all the positions must not exceed the following values: 25: 1,000 mm 40, 63, 100: 2,000 mm Z5 Z4 Z3 Z2 Z1 Pos.
