There were a Little Billy Goat Gruff, a Middle-sized Billy Goat Gruff, and a Big Billy Goat Gruff. (The Billy Goats Gruff walks slowly on the stage) Narrator 2: The Billy Goats Gruff were hungry because they had nothing to eat. (The Billy Goats Gruff looks unhappy) So they wanted to cross the bridge to eat the grass on the other side of the hill. (Eagerly) I want to cross the bridge now. Dont do it. The Troll under the bridge will eat you up. (Angrily) I dont care! I am very hungry. All right. Be careful. So the Little Billy Goat Gruff went first, trip- trap, trip- trap over the bridge. (The LBG crosses the bridge silently) Troll: LBG: Troll: LBG: Troll: Narrator 1: (Loudly)Whos that crossing over my bridge? (Timidly) Its only me, the Little Billy Goat Gruff. (Loudly) Im going to come and eat you up. (Timidly) Oh please dont eat me. Wait for my brother, the Middle-sized Billy Goat Gruff. Hes much bigger than I am. Oh, very well. Off you go. Im bigger and stronger than my little brother. Im sure I can cross the bridge. All right. Be careful. The Middle-sized Billy Goat started to cross the bridge. (Loudly) Whos that crossing over my bridge? Its only me. The Middle-sized Billy Goat Gruff. Im going to come and eat you up! Oh, please dont eat me. Wait for my brother, the Big Billy Goat Gruff. Hes much bigger than I am. Oh very well. Off you go. The Middle-sized Billy Goat Gruff crossed the bridge quickly. (Sound of a goat walking over the bridge-trip-trap, trip-trap, trip-trap)

SCENE 3 (In the field near the old bridge) BBG: LBG & MBG: (Saying aloud to himself) Now its my turn. I must cross the bridge to meet my brothers. (Saying aloud on the other side of the hill) Come on, big brother! Were waiting for you. The grass is green and sweet here. The Big Billy Goat Gruff started to cross the bridge. (Loudly) Whos that crossing over my bridge? Its only me, the Big Billy Goat Gruff. Im going to come and eat you up! Come on then, just come and get me! The Troll climbed up the bridge. The Big Billy Goat Gruff put down his horns and charged at him. The Troll fell into the river. Wow! I can cross the bridge now. (The BBG crossed the bridge very quickly!) Hurray! Hurray! We can eat the grass here now.
