Below are the Course Description:

Organizational Behavior and Performance This course builds on several major modules including organization behavior, human resource management, strategic alignment, international dimensions, power and politics, and leadership. It is concerned with the impact that individuals and group structures have on behaviors within organizations. It also teaches students to apply the knowledge to improve the organizations effectiveness, and the quality of the people concerned. The course focuses on raising awareness and understanding of all aspects of organizational behavior and performance, and the contribution to the success of the organization

International Economic Environment The course provides students with a coherent and integrated framework, based on micro- and macro-economic principles. It endeavors to explain and understand consumer, firms and market behaviors, the aggregate economic activity, interest rates, consumption and investment, economic growth and development, inflation, unemployment and other macroeconomic conceptions and effects of government regulation. The course mainly deals with the problems of economic decision-making at the micro and aggregate levels

Cross-Border Managerial Communication The course is aimed at helping students understand the main cultural issues that must be taken into account when doing business in a multicultural setting. To this end, the course provides students with a basic understanding of some of the major cultural differences in values and norms, communication patterns, way of thinking, negotiation strategies and management styles. Besides this, this course prepares students to be ready for cultural differences or cultural conflicts they will encounter when working with people from different cultures in their future so that students will learn how to communicate with people from different countries, how to adapt to different cultural environments, how to do business in a new culture, how to avoid, diagnose and resolve cultural conflicts in the workplace. The major objective of this course is to develop students intercultural communication competence, which is a required skill for all professionals in the workplace. At last this course can achieve the objective of SHU MBA program by training students to become global local talents.

Business and Entrepreneurship Plans This course seeks to provide an understanding of business planning techniques that transform ideas into viable commercial businesses. This program is to provide student as an entrepreneur or as consultant, a practical framework for preparing business plan. Participants will study firms business planning efforts as well as create a business plan during the practicum.
