General Objectives: At the end of the training period, it is anticipated that 1. The trainees have applied in the host industry the academic theories and work values acquired from the academe, 2. The trainees have fully accomplished the requirements of their training program as instructed by the school and the cooperating industry, 3. The trainees have increased their knowledge in their field of specialization with the help of the cooperating industry, 4. The trainees were exposed to majority, if not all suggested training targets specified in the In-Plant Training Guide written below, 5. The trainees have acquired sufficient exposure to the actual work environment.

MAJOR SUBJECTS A. Machine Design II B. Power Plant Design C. Industrial Plant Design D. Engineering Management E. CAD/CAM

IN-PLANT TRAINING GUIDE Exposure to different machine components and uses. Exposure to components of a power plant such as boilers and turbines. Exposure to different industrial machine components and fabrication procedures. Exposure in the managerial skills on the industries. Exposure to engineering software used for simulation of different system components.

The degree of exposure given to trainees depends on the discretion and judgment of the cooperating industry. The assurance that the trainee will gain the appropriate actual-work experience is what the University is concerned of. 3. Any other applicable training that the industry may offer is welcome and well appreciated.
