HELLO, before i elaborate something about the Occultism and Science, would like to mention that i hold a Master

Degree in the Mechanical Engineering field( already finished Doctoral studies, but defending of Thesis left), so i hope that am well qualified in the field of Science. I am interested in Occultism last 20 years, so I read a lot of books and practiced something here and there, but here in BOEL am at the beginning, so my qualifications in Occultism are surely not sufficient for a serious discussion, but I will try my best. What i know for sure is, if we want Occultism to be the Science, in the first line there must be PRECISELY DEFINED SET OF MEASURABLE PARAMETERS OF STUDENTS PROGRESS. So, the student must be sure what is his position at each moment. Also, Occultism ( or Occult Schools as generators of Occult Knowledge) must develop enough flexibility and readiness for CHANGE - ready to apply the new technologies, approaches etc. I read in the book of Dolores Aschroft-Nowicki ( Ritual Magic) that one piece of the Pathworking is more worth than some complete Rituals. She also wrote, that if you CAREFULLY consider what you want to obtain with the Ritual, soon you will find out that you do not need the ritual at all.So, why should we not do more research in the Pathworking field and try to simplify some operations. According to my knowledge and experience as technique or system is more simple, it is more EFFECTIVE. Also, we ( especially students of the first couple of years at BOEL) HAVE TO EXCERCISE OUR PRINCIPLES OF ETHICS when we write something in these Forums ( please put under your text the REFERENCE LIST of the used books, because for me it is hard to believe that someone on the first Month of the studies can have any serious knowledge ( without any experience) about Occultism).Therefore, it should be clearly stated what is our knowledge,and what has been taken from the books. Another thing, one of the most important characteristics of Science is RESEARCH and DEVELOPMENT. So, Occult Schools should also give to the students instructions how to make the research on their own, not just to follow existing paths. when we discuss about the Mystery Training and Psycho-Therapy, it is enough to take a look on the picture given in the Lesson. As you can see, there are NO any common points between the ADEPT and any other persons with some kind of problems ( positioned underwater). In order to explain this I will use 2 approaches: basic scientific ( systems) approach, and energy system approach ( something described in my earlier posts on another Lessons forums). So, if we consider ourselves ( total Being including physical and all other bodies( force fields)), as a SYSTEM, we can apply on it some input variables ( in this case these will be the techniques of Magic). Our SYSTEM will operate on this variables ( process it according to his structure and capacity - which is different for each person), and as an OUTPUT variables we will get some results ( behaviour of the person, his achievements in everday life etc.).BUT, IF THE SYSTEM WAS, ( BEFORE APPLAYING ANY TECHNIQUES), ALREADY DAMAGED ( underwater position), I strongly beleive the results will be catastrophic.

I recently read in the biography of Dion Fortune ( written by Alan Richardson), that she was not satisfied with the results which she obtained applaying occult methods to the people in her Mental hospital. For me, the most important concept in Occult training is BALANCE. Also, do not forget the basic occult premise: AS ABOVE, SO BELOW. So if the energy system ( set of paths and Sephiras - ABOVE) of the person is strongly out of balance( just remember the video clip for the song ~ I am so strong out~, and everything will be clear), everything will manifest in the everyday life(BELOW). How to work on building and strenghtening of the Body of Light ( very important for the serious astral projections) if our Paths are damaged!!?? We will fall down the Tree.

Here is how i see the situation: each person has been born with his own and unique energy system ( in the tradition of Kabbalah we will call it Personal Tree of Life - and it is actually a SET( in the terminology of mathematics), of SEPHIRAS and PATHS. This STARTING system has its characteristics ( i will call it FIRST STATE of the SYSTEM), which are described in his NATAL CHART. That is why the Natal chart is so important for Occultist - it can give us the information on which aspects of personality we have to work on ( our weak points). This FIRST STATE of the system is what we have bringed from our previous incarnations ( obviously we have not achived the highest spiritual state ( we can call it enlightment), otherwise we will not be born as ordinary people. After that starts the so called proces of socialisation ( i will call it Social Engineering), and our energy system will be changed accordingly ( it will take another STATE).In practice, some of our Sepphiras will work ( process the energy) more and the other less, also some of the Paths will be more or less opened(closed), and according to this state our Personality will have some characteristics ( calm people, aggresive etc.). if this personal characteristics are in some socially accepted ranges, we will call this person as relatively NORMAL ( he has the familly, job and is generally satisfied with his life- Achiever). But, his system is still far from the adept. i will define the STATE of the ADEPT as state where ALL SEPHIRAS work optimally and all PATHS are clear and IN BALANCE, simply his TREE OF LIFE is completely STABILISED AND FUNCTIONAL, kundalini has been rised, and his AURA is diamond brilliant. So, the person who has been defined as Normal, has to be involved in Occult Training ( to apply the system of techniques in order to stabilise and clear his energy system, and this process certainly takes at least 20 years of intensive studies), and EVENTUALY he will became the ADEPT ( it is not for sure) - there are parameters which are out of our control ( to much to be discussed here). So, when we find so called ADEPTS who are obviously OUT OF BALANCE ( low ethic, thiefs, layers, who promise CERTAIN results in a couple of weeks ), they are certainly not ADEPTS. REAL ADEPT can only PROMISE TO HIS STUDENTS VERY; VERY HARD WORK. But, when we have the person with obviously DAMAGED system ( which means that some of his paths and Sepphiras working abnormally), usually as consequence of taking the drugs or similar, and apply the system of Occult techniques, well, i am not sure about the results....
