Organizational back ground Community Partners International (CPI)/ Friends for Health (FFH) works with local organizations to increase their capacity to deliver essential health services in Myanmars underserved and at-risk populations. CPI has 15 years experience building the skills and resources of local partners (including faith-based organizations, local NGOs, community based organizations and ethnic health organizations). Currently, CPI partners deliver medical care and preventive health services to more than one million people in Myanmar. This position will work closely with the Director of Clear Project for overseeing all financial aspects of an expected large grant from 3MDG. This includes budget preparation, financial reporting, oversight of sub grants to local CBOs, training of CBO partners on financial management, and an annual audit of the project.

Responsibilities: Perform daily cash and bank transactions Maintain a record of bank transactions and submit a reconciliation report on a monthly basis Perform archiving of the accounting documents Ensure full understanding and compliance by all project staff, as well as sub grantees through training, guidance and support Assist to the finance manager in developing and modifying (as required) the annual organization and project budgets Prepare project advance request (reimbursement if necessary) due to a result of planning meeting then submit to finance officers for verification and approval To assist with Finance Manager in managing the program implementation with sub grantees To assist finance manager for reviewing and tracking of disbursement sent to sub grantees Coordinate with other staff working on this project Assist in project audits, and grantee audits. Work with FFH Admin and Finance Team for assisting technical support and coordination with partner organizations. Able to travel if required 1

Requirements: Minimum BA in Accounting , or Financial Management or equivalent degree or diploma Minimum of three years professional experiences Knowledgeable in using accounting software Strong analytical skills High computer literacy in MS word, Excel and other accounting programs; Good command of spoken and written English; Results-oriented Able to work under pressure Team player
