Companys FibeAir 4858 Provides Low Cost IP & TDM

TEL AVIV, Israel, August 19, 2004Ceragon Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ: CRNT), www.ceragon.com, a global provider of high-capacity broadband wireless systems, today introduced FibeAir 4858, a carrier-class wireless transmission system. Ceragons FibeAir 4858 is a robust, low-cost, point-to-point (PTP) system that ensures immediate connectivity for voice and data over a single radio link. FibeAir 4858 carries IP and TDM over 5.725- 5.850 GHz license-exempt bands and is suitable for remote site connectivity and effective backhauling for wireless ISPs, hotspots and cellular applications. This product provides a maximum rate of 48 Mbps, Ethernet and up to 6xE1/T1s. FibeAir 4858 can operate at a maximum distance of 80 Km (50 miles) and complies with ETSI and FCC regulatory standards. The introduction of FibeAir 4858 strengthens Ceragons IP-based portfolio for both license and license-exempt frequencies, which includes PTP Fast Ethernet solutions up to a Gigabit capacity, with multiple combinations of carrier-class TDM traffic said Shraga Katz, President and CEO, Ceragon Networks Ltd. FibeAir 4858 is a split-mount radio configuration, and it is a compact and complete solution which can be used with either an integral antenna or a variety of external antennas. It utilizes Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology with non-line of sight (NLOS) capabilities. FibeAir 4858 also offers telecom grade of E1/T1 abilities in addition to the IP services and it is managed by an SNMP based user-friendly application.
