Position: Training Manager for F & B services

JOB PURPOSE
The post holder will be responsible to the Curriculum Manager, and will be required to make a major contribution to training, management and support of students and apprentices in hospitality and culinary art and appropriate related subjects on a range of full-time and part-time vocational courses. The post holder will also be expected to work alongside the current team to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in our newly developed commercial environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential while contributing to the training, assessing and the development of the portfolio of qualifications within the curriculum area

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The development and delivery of assessment materials within Hospitality and Culinary Arts

To train and develop curriculum and assessment materials within the curriculum areas, commensurate with individual qualifications, skills and experience.

To participate in staff development activities. Involvement in the development of new courses. To actively engage in marketing activities. Achieve outstanding quality in training, assessing and learning support.

Monitor, guide and support learners throughout their programmes.

To participate in appropriate training activities to develop skills, experience and efficiency.

To undertake any other duties as required within the grade of the post. Mark, appraise and assess learners work and provide feedback. Organize, co-ordinate and supervise student visits and placements.

Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young persons and vulnerable adults who you are responsible for or come into contact with

Support and participate in the Schools marketing activities Plan and priorities own work Liaise/work closely with relevant staff with Tutoring responsibility
