OUEA DIVISION PLACEMENT: *check these

Within the last three years, have you won three firsts in an equitation over
fences or medal class at a height of 3'3" (~1.0m) or higher, or placed six
times in an equitation over fences, medal class, hunter over fences, jumper
class, or eventing competition at a height of 3'6" (~1.10m) or higher in a
show that is part of a series or recognized circuit? If not, did you compete in
the Open Division on the OUEA circuit the previous year?
If YES, you are open qualified. If NO, please continue.
Within the last three years, have you won three firsts in an equitation over
fences or medal class at a height of 2'9" (~0.85m) or higher, or placed six
times in an equitation over fences, medal class, hunter over fences class,
jumper class, or eventing competition at a height of 3' (~0.90m) or higher in
a show that is part of a series or recognized circuit? If not, did you compete in
the Intermediate Division on the OUEA circuit the previous year?
If YES, you are intermediate qualified. If NO, please continue.

Within the last three years, have you won three firsts in an equitation over
fences or medal class at a height of 2'6" (~0.75m) or higher, or placed six
times in an equitation over fences, medal class, hunter over fences class,
jumper class, or eventing competition at a height of 2'9" (~0.85m) or higher
in a show that is part of a series or recognized circuit? If not, did you compete
in the Novice Division on the OUEA circuit the previous year?

If YES, you are novice qualified. If NO, please continue.

Within the last four months, have you been part of a hunter, jumper,
equitation, or eventing lesson program and are at a level of riding where you
are jumping consistently over a height of 2' or higher? Can this be confirmed
with your current instructor?
If YES, you are entry qualified. If NO, the OUEA Team may not be for you.
However, we do offer lessons for riders of all levels.

Tryouts will be held on Monday September 23, 2013 at Old Orchard
Farms in Moffat, Ontario. Please be sure to wear proper riding attire,
including an ASTM approved helmet and breeches with proper tall
boots and/or paddock boots with half chaps. You do not have to wear
show clothes to tryouts, but please do not wear bulky clothing. For
example, a polo shirt or turtleneck is appropriate, jackets are allowed
according to weather conditions. Good luck to all riders and we look
forward to seeing you at tryouts for the 2013-2014 year!
