Prevent your PC from overheating

PC users should clean out the fans on their computers before the summer really heats up. The dust that collects on the
fans over time can reduce their effectiveness in cooling, leading to computer crashes from overheating. The easiest
option is to simply vacuum the dust away from areas like the air intake grille on the rear of the PC, reports Munich-
based Gamestar magazine. The vacuum head shouldn’t be held too close to the fans, however. Otherwise, the rotor
bearings could be damaged.

Federer returned to the top of the ATP rankings on Monday, a day after winning Wimbledon by edging Andy Roddick
16-14 in the longest fifth set in Grand Slam final history. Federer moves up from No. 2, switching places with former No.
1 Rafael Nadal. A year ago at Wimbledon, Nadal beat Federer in the final and overtook him atop the rankings in August.
That ended Federer’s record stay of 237 consecutive weeks at No. 1.

India’s book
Australian pacer Brett Lee has revealed that he
managed to get devastating reverse swing
against the England Lions after employing an
Indian strategy. Lee bagged
six wickets against the Lions
which got him a place in
the Ashes side. During
Australia’s tour of India last
October, pacers Ishant
Sharma and Zaheer Khan
bowled with a scrambled
seam so the ball would
deteriorate and start to
reverse swing quicker and
Australia is planning to use
the same strategy against
England in the first Test.
“Normally in Australia with greener wickets and
greener outfields we tend to try to bowl seam
up for the first 20 or 30 overs and then see
what happens after that. Over here in England
and in a place like the subcontinent, it is a little
bit different,” Lee said. “We thought the first
three or four overs, we would just see if the ball
swings, but it didn’t swing a lot. So then we
changed it around and bowled a bit across the
seam to try to scuff it up and it started to go
(reverse) after about 10 or 12 overs. We have
worked with (bowling coach) Troy Cooley on
different techniques to get the ball to swing.
We have been working hard and hopefully that
will pay dividends in the first Test,” he said.

S
inger Kailash Kher, who shot to fame with the
famous ‘Allah Ke Bande’, says his new album Kai-
lasa Chaandan Mein is organic as only traditional
instruments were used in creating its music.
“We have not used any electronic instruments in
Kailasa Chaandan Mein. I would rather call it an orga-
nic album as only instruments like morchang, ektara,
chimta, kartaal, mandolin, saaz, ud, bagal-bachcha
and ravan hatha were used in all the songs,” says the
singer.
“This is also the first time that my album has been
released worldwide. I have dedicated this album to my
father, who is no more,” he adds.
The album, which has music by Kailash, Naresh and
Paresh, is a compilation of eight songs.
Kher’s song ‘Allah ke Bande’ from the movie Waisa
Bhi Hota Hai Part II, made him a household name in
2002.
His last two albums Kailasa and Kailasa Jhoomo Re
were also record sellers. He has also composed music
in films like Daasvidaniya and Akshay Kumar-starrer
Chandni Chowk to China.
Talking about the video of the latest album, he says,
“‘O Jee’ is the video song shot in the holy city Pushkar
in Rajasthan. The director Rajat Nagpaal has done a
very good job.”
On the usage of unique words in his songs, he says, “I
have grown singing bhajans of sant Kabir, sant Raidas
and Guru Nanak. So I try using those words in my
songs too. And these words are not something new but
very much Hindustani.” ■

ARIES MARCH 21 - APRIL 20

Ganesha wants you to be careful with expectations
from superiors as it might lead to disappointment.
Just for today, try to avoid important projects, rather
concentrate on pending work. On the romantic
front, be prepared for tough times.

TAURUS APRIL 21 - MAY 20

Ganesha thinks you might depend heavily on your
lucky charm today. In case luck doesn’t show up
you seem to be ready to achieve results by hook or
crook. For matters of heart, you tend to have a
subtle and sacrificing attitude.

GEMINI MAY 21 - JUNE 20

Perfection is definitely hard to attain. You will
BORN LOSER realise this when confusions crop up with work and
work related strategies. Nevertheless, as hours pass
by, you will regain the ability to take proper
decisions.
CANCER JUNE 21 - JULY 20
Your mind today will be charged up for creative
stuff. Hence when ideas come naturally to you,
taking decisions might seem a little difficult.
Ganesha advises you to be firm. You seem to
develop amiable relations with everyone around you.
LEO JULY 21 - AUG 20
Ganesha feels that inspite of spending good times
with colleagues; you might choose to remain low
profile. The day would be spend working on your
weak points, as far as work is concerned. Do not
try to woo the opposite sex too much today.
VIRGO AUG 21 - SEPT 20
Ganesha feels you might be worried about domestic
FREE RANGE WORKING IT OUT affairs, but work won’t get disturbed as work will
keep you busy. In meetings, you might have to
agree to the views of other members. But at home
you will have a fantastic time.
LIBRA SEPT 21 - OCT 20
Today is favourable day for technical and
developmental work. Ganesha feels it is a
favourable day for you where you will be super
charged at work and equally pleasant with family
members! Have a ‘happy’ day!
SCORPIO OCT 21 - NOV 20
New ventures and projects might achieve fast
success or progress rapidly today, thinks Ganesha.
You tend to be innovative and creative today,
making it a good day at work. On the romantic
front, you might be more aggressive and possessive.
SAGITTARIUS NOV 21 - DEC 20
You might feel as if you have woken up on the

self might feel upset and low at work. Since
emotions are already on a high, you might express
the same for your beloved. Romance on the prowl!
CAPRICORN DEC 21 - JAN 20
Ice-cream and hot tea might seem like a weird
combination, but you might end up thinking about
stuff like that today. Ganesha feels you might face
something called ‘battle of grey cells’ today. Not to
worry as the second half of the day is much better.
AQUARIUS JAN 21 - FEB 20
PREVIOUS Ganesha thinks you will be able to carry out all the
pursuits fruitfully. Though the first part of the day
ISSUE’S might just seem mundane, the later part might be
exciting. In personal life, expect good moral support
SOLUTIONS from your partner.
PISCES FEB 21 - MARCH 20

might think of doing something new, but the way
ahead will be full of confusion and difficult to
