03, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. and youre listening to 90.3 WKNJFM, Union, New Jersey, and Im Camille-Danielle with the news. In local news...(SADLY) 2 separate killings took place in the same night In Newark, two separate shootings occurred overnight. The first took place on South 18th street
which is outside on the borderline of Irvington. The 2nd, took place in the intersections of Renner and Pechiney Avenue in Newark's southward. Anonymous neighbors claimed no gunfire was heard. The suspects, victims, and motives for the shootings remain unreleased by authorities. 1 1 1 1

And speaking of the double homicides, one of the men who just

happened to be a victim in yesterday's overnight shooting, was

actually under indictment on charges from the shooting of a toddler

two years ago. He was the victim found on the intersection of

Renner and Peshine Avenue. Investigators were speculating

whether he killed the toddler, but he was remained free on bail.

The toddler just happened to be the son of his girlfriend's. 2 2 2

In National news... A mentally- ill woman who was committed to a psychiatric facility after drowning her three children, is now seeking a cut

from their $350,000 estate. Leatrice Brewer, 33, who was found

not guilty by reason of insanity, is scheduled to testify in the Nassau county surrogate's court next month. After drowning them,

she then tried two suicidal attempts on herself but failed. Health

professionals say she suffered from a mental depressive disorder

and was said to have killed the children to protect them from the fatal long-term effects of voodoo. 3 3 3

The suspect who led police on a chase from the White house to the

Capitol is pronounced dead. Last Thursday evening, the getaway

driver who was in a black Infiniti, happened to be a woman, who

was gunned down by police, near the capitol. A toddler was

present in the car at that time, but is now safe and unharmed in

protective custody, (RELIEVED) thank God.

They have found no motive but investigators believed it to be an

isolated act, not in relation to terrorism.

A big celebration for illegal immigrants has taken place today!

California is one of the many states to now have made it legal

for illegal immigrants to possess a U.S. driver's license. This was

heavily supported by Hispanic activists, police chiefs and

insurance authorities. The licenses will be available no later than

January 2015. However they cannot be used for official

identification, employment eligibility, and or other public benefits.

The immigrants were still pleased with the signing of this bill

being put into affect.

In International News... Heading to the tiny island of Lampedusa, African migrants

were loaded on fishing boat, heading to Europe in hopes of a better

life. However, sadly they never made it. While onboard, someone

attempted to get the attention of passing ships by setting a fire. As

flames spread quickly and drastically, the people ran to one side of

the boat, causing it to collapse. This led hundreds of migrants to

fall into the Mediterranean Sea. (SADLY) Most could not swim,

and therefore drowned.

Authorities from Russia have charged 30 people aboard on a

Greenpeace ship. They were hit with piracy after two activists tried

to scale an oil platform in a protest of Arctic drilling last month.

This occurred Wednesday and is now just now ending on this

Thursday. If convicted, the 28 activists and two freelance

journalists could be sentenced to up to 15 years in prison. The 30

were from at least 18 different countries, plead guilty.

In Sports... I know this sucks for all of you Hockey fans out there who are

fans of the NJ Devils. Sadly, they lost to the Penguins. Penguins

had 3 and leaving the Devils with 0. This was the Devils first

opening game, and now they are making goal scoring their

immediate concern.

Sad news for Giants fans! (SAD) Veteran right guard Chris Snee

may need to have surgery on his left hip. According to health officials, Bone chips and a labrum issue have caused inflammation and serious pain in his left hip." If indeed true, that he undergoes surgery, he would be placed on seasonending injured reserve. Despite whatever injury he has, usually he snaps right back in time for line up. Now, he just couldn't recuperate. This time, his career may be in jeopardy. 10 10 10 10
