Theme 2: Data Visualization and Analytics

Visual Computing Interactive Modeling, Visualization and Analytics critical role, ensure users gain insightful and actionable information

VISION AND GOALS

R&D of innovative and practical scalable visual computing technologies and solutions that: Process + present data into an efficient + effective visual representation that users can rapidly, intuitively and easily explore, model, understand, and analyze.

Theme 3: Interaction Techniques and Technologies

Reflect + express the available Info, level of uncertainty (from visual anomalies to detailed interpretations) and visual computing requirements @ different E&P stages. Link static + dynamic reservoir descriptions Improve communication between professionals involved in field development and decision-making. Other core goals: (1) to work interdisciplinary; (2) to form strategic alliances w/ industry and academia; (3) to train high-qualified personnel specialized in scalable visual computing for reservoir geoscience and engineering.
