TOURNAMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS: a) The FIDE Laws of Chess, particularly the Laws on Rapid Chess, shall govern the tournament. b) The tournament format shall be straight seven to eight rounds Swiss System, depending on the number of participants. One-day tournament only. c) The time control shall be twenty two (22) minutes with 3 seconds increment (Bronstein time delay) using the digital chess clocks or twenty five (25) minutes using the analog or mechanical chess clocks for each player to make all the moves necessary to finish the game.
