unable to create content repository in sap

This question is Not Answered. Hi All, I am using CSSAP 6.7. I am tring to create a content repository in SAP with storage type HTTP Content Server. But when i try to test the connection, it always gives me this message Error in HTTP Access: IF_HTTP_CLIENT->RECEIVE 1 ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED Please tell me , which hostname to fill in Hostname/IP field. will it be the documentum content server IP or will it be the SAP Content Server IP ? And what about the port number and HTTP Script ?

Suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

It should be your app server IP/hostname where CSSAP/ASSAP is deployed.

Hi Ahmad, Thanks for replying. I have entered the app server ip and port number 8080 i.e. of tomcat port. HTTP Script that I am giving is assap/archivelink/<documentum_repository_name> Still it's giving me the same error.

I had many same instances with different clients. Every time I found that the errors were caused by SAP network connections. Either the IP is on IP fragmentation partition, port was blocked by gateways. So the best way to resolve this error is to talk to your network administrator and monitor from SAP server host and see if the request from Documentum server host can reach to SAP side.
