Worsted-weight or plastic
canvas yarn; for amounts see

Cutting Instructions:
A: For sides, cut two according
to graph.
B: For ends, cut two 28 x 28
holes (no graph).
C: For bottom, cut one 28 x 49
holes (no graph).
D: For handles, cut two 7 x 70
holes (no graph).
Stitching Instructions:
1: Using colors indicated and
Continental Stitch, work A pieces
according to graph; fill in un-
coded areas using camel and
Continental Stitch. Using yellow
and Scotch Stitch over three bars
(see Stitch Illustration), work B-D
pieces. With yellow, Overcast
edges of D pieces.
2: Using black pearl cotton or
six strands floss and Backstitch,
embroider letters on A pieces as
indicated on graph. With yellow
pearl cotton or six strands floss,
sew six buttons to watering can
on each A piece as shown in
photo or as desired.
3: With yellow, Whipstitch A-C
pieces together according to Bas-
ket Assembly Diagram; with
matching colors as shown in
photo, Overcast edges.
4: Glue ends of each handle to
opposite ends inside Basket as
shown.
