For Instruction reference, see Chapter 4 of the LSES Policy and Regulation, as listed. CHAPTER IV. INSTRUCTION SECTION I. INSTRUCTION LOGISTICS i. Logistics for Instruction define the procedures and steps of: Training (1), Evaluation (2), and Certification (3). 1. After the recruit is inducted, the recruit is placed on the most updated version of the LSES document LSES-INSTRUCTIONROSTER-P-1.0.0. The assigned instructor listed for the recruit will then contact the recruit promptly within the 48 hours after the recruit has been applied to the roster. The instructor then schedules a date and time to begin training the recruit. The instructor must train and evaluate the recruit within one week of the newest LSES document LSES-INSTRUCTIONROSTER-P1.0.0 being published. The recruit will then be trained accordingly and authentically by the assigned instructor as detailed in the LSES document LSESPTRBASICINSGUIDE001. 2. The recruit will then be evaluated accordingly and authentically by the assigned instructor after training is completed as detailed in the LSES document LSESPTRBASICINSGUIDE001. The assigned instructor will record and document the recruits evaluation in the format of the LSES document LSESPTRBASICEVAL001. The assigned instructor will then send the document once recorded and modified to the internal department of Member Relations. 3. Upon the discretion of Member Relations, the recruit and the internal department of Logistics will then receive either a notice of the recruits certification or failure. If the recruit is failed, the recruit will be taken off of all rosters and all documentation will be removed regarding the recruit by Logistics. If the recruit is certified, Logistics will apply the recruit to necessary rosters and assignments and will send the recruit a notice regarding their membership, certificate, LSES account information, remarks, and evaluation score. SECTION II. INSTRUCTION OPERATIONS i. Operations for Instruction define the operations regarding the training and evaluation. ii. All Instruction Operations are deemed to be certified, professional, official and integral. iii. Instruction Operations are described in correlation with the course or mode of instruction of the course guide. iv. Course guides are documented regarding the course or mode. SECTION III. INSTRUCTOR RELATION i. Instructors must meet the minimum requirements stating they must be the grade of Sergeant, have 2 months of experience, undergo and pass qualifications and interviews with Member Relations, and be active at least three days per week. ii. Instructors are chosen exclusively by the Command Corps or a task force commander. iii. Instructors report to OPS and LSS. iv. Instructors must utilize uppermost integrity, courtesy and professionalism with interactions relating to instruction. v. Instructors are specially trained and inducted by LSS and OPS staff only and are officially recognized. LSES-INSTRUCTIONROSTER-P-1.0.0 will be published and released next week. The recipients of this notice are all going to be instructed, inducted and certified as instructors for the course Patrol Basic. Certificates and instructor accessories will be issued after qualification from LSES01-01. Upon executive decision by OPS and LSS, Lance Leach (LSES-02-34) is promoted to the grade of Sergeant.
