EDUCATION
The University Of Sheffield (2010- 2011) - Automatic Control and System Engineering (M.Sc., Distinction) Relevant Modules: Model Predictive Control, Fuzzy Logic, Active Noise and Vibration, Robotics, Signal Processing, Estimation and Image Processing and Embedded Systems. Dissertation: Semi-active implementation of nonlinear damping for vibration isolation.
The objective was to develop a model of a nonlinear damping method for a vibration isolation system (test rig) present at the Active Noise and Vibration laboratory of the University of Sheffield. The model was created, initially with a linear viscous damping effect then also with a nonlinear viscous damping characteristic. The performances of the vibration isolation system, using both viscous damping characteristics by analyzing the force transmissibility curve of both cases, was carried out. The nonlinear viscous damping characteristic was implemented using a SIMULINK model of an MR damper and a controller designed to track the desired nonlinear viscous damping force. Finally, an analysis and comparison of the force transmissibility of the vibration isolation system with the MR damper to that achieved using the desired viscous damping force, was carried out.

Federal University Of Technology Owerri (2007-2009) - Communication Engineering (M.Eng., Distinction) Relevant Modules: Satellite Communication, Digital Filters, Digital Electronics, Project Management, Linear Systems, Numerical Methods and Fibre Optics Communication. Dissertation: Software Implementation of a Linear Time Invariant System using MATLAB.
The objective was to design a Graphic User Interface (GUI) for the simulation and implementation of a linear time invariant system to be employed as a student laboratory tool/ application in the department. This application was designed to aid learning amongst the students of the department especially in the Control and Communication Engineering modules and also help lecturers illustrate the theories taught in class.

Federal University Of Technology Owerri - Electrical / Electronic Engineering (B.Eng., First Class Honours) Project: Design and Construction of an Inverter Unit.
in the event of a power failure.

(1998-2003)

The objective was to design and construct a 600VA inverter unit capable of powering a complete desktop system unit
