IT) $he Dynamind $echni;ue, or D6$, is a safe, easy, fast, and effecti e method of healing based on a special blend of !ords, touch, breath and, sometimes, imagery# 't has been designed so that most people can use it themsel es to help relie e most conditions most of the time in less than an hour# 't can also be used in combination !ith other treatments to help all people !ith all conditions in aried times# %ll healing comes from !ithin# D6$ by itself does not heal anything, but it helps prepare the mind and the body so that healing may happen more easily# 't has pro en effecti e as an aid to healing a !ide ariety of physical, emotional and mental conditions, and it is being tested !ith more and more conditions e ery day by an international team of practitioners#

D6$ can be used alone, or it can be combined !ith any other con entional, alternati e, or complementary healing method# 't can be used by children as !ell as adults, and has been used successfully in the healing of animals as !ell# $he Dynamind $echni;ue is simple to learn and use# <ou !ill not need to accept any system of beliefs or philosophy for it to !ork and, in fact, it !ill e en !ork if you don=t belie e in it# ,o!e er, an acti ely negati e attitude !ill diminish its effects# <ou may use it for yourself and share it !ith family and friends and those in need# H*W D*E! IT W*+#) $he effecti eness of the Dynamind $echni;ue is based on a theory that all physical, emotional and mental problems are related to e"cessi e tension in the body# $he theory proposes that tension accumulates in layers, !ith focal points that produce specific symptoms# ,ealing takes place !hen tension layers are rela"ed# %ccording to this same theory, !hen the body is in a state of dynamic tension 2 a !a e2like cycle of tension and rela"ation 2 the body immediately and automatically goes into a healing mode !hene er unusual stress is encountered# %s long as the dynamic state is maintained, healing is ery rapid# During this same state the mind also reco ers ;uickly from stress and, emotional upsets are temporary and moderate# 'f the body enters a state of static tension 2 a !all2building cycle of increasing resistance 2 then the healing response is inhibited, allo!ing disease and dysfunction, confusion and negati e thinking, or anger and fear to flourish# %ny method that helps the body to mo e from a state of static tension to a dynamic one !ill release or stimulate the natural healing response of the body# <ou do not ha e to accept the theory in order to use Dynamind effecti ely# WHY D*E! IT W*+#) >ach segment of the Dynamind $echni;ue is a separate healing techni;ue itself# 9hile the specific source for these techni;ues happens to be ancient ,a!aiian tradition, similar techni;ues are found in many other parts of the !orld# 't is the combined and cumulati e effect of these techni;ues together that produces the ama?ingly rapid results of D6$# The Hand ,osition $he Dynamind $echni;ue begins !ith bringing both hands together !ith only fingertips touching, as if holding a globe# $his is a position used in some kinds of meditation to help induce rela"ation# 't also has the benefit of ser ing as a subconscious signal that a healing process is about to begin#'n practice, the ,and Position is maintained throughout the process e"cept during the touching segment# 2

The !tatement $he (asic Dynamind Statement, composed of three parts, is neither an affirmation nor a re;uest# 't is, instead, an ackno!ledgement of the problem, a declaration of e"pectation, and a specific directi e# @et=s analy?e the (asic Statement in this !ay1 7' ha e a problem###7 $his is an ackno!ledgement that the problem e"ists#'t !orks best if the problem is clearly defined in terms of symptom, intensity, sensation and location# > en simple ackno!ledgement often initiates a process of rela"ation# 7### and that can change#7 $his is a declaration of e"pectation that the problem is not permanent and that relief is possible, also a rela"ing idea# 7' !ant that problem to go a!ay#7 $his is a directi e# 9hether you !ant to think of it as being directed to the body, the subconscious, the brain, or anything else doesn=t matter# 9hen you speak such a directi e to yourself it begins to take effect to some degree# $his (asic directi e !as chosen because it !orks for most people most of the time# %ny part of the Statement can be modified to produce a better effect# 9hat follo!s is !hat helps the effect to be e en greater# The Tou'h $ouching the body any!here stimulates an energetic response that affects the entire physical, mental and emotional system# $ouching the body in certain places and in certain !ays can e oke a specific response that is both energi?ing and rela"ing at the same time# Dynamind uses four specific areas of the body for the $ouch segment of the techni;ue in the follo!ing se;uence1 4# $he $hymus area in the center of the chest# $ouching this area in certain !ays is kno!n to help relie e an"iety, rela" the chest and lung muscles, and stimulate the immune system# 2# $he ,oku points of both hands# 9ell2kno!n in 5hinese acupuncture, these points are often stimulated for headache relief, and are considered by some to ha e a re itali?ing effect on the !hole body# $hey are located in the area !here lines that follo! the sides of the thumb and first finger intersect# 3# $he .th cer ical ertebra Athe bony hump at the top of the spineBbase of the neckC# Dsed in ,a!aiian body!ork, stimulation of this area is considered to ha e a re itali?ing and rela"ing effect on the upper body, spine, and pel ic area# 6any other points or areas could ha e been used, but these ha e the ad antage of co ering the front, sides, and back of the body, as !ell as being con enient to reach# >ach of them is highly effecti e !hen used alone, and more so !hen used together# 't is only necessary to touch the general area of the points mentioned abo e in order to get the proper effect# 6assage or strong pressure are not re;uired# 3

Four methods of touch are generally used in the Dynamind $echni;ue1 4# @ight $apping# 2# Eentle +ibration# 3# >"tended 5ontact A!ith light pressureC# )# >"tended 5ontact !ith humming# >ach form of touch is maintained for a count of se en, not for any esoteric reason, but because it is an easy rhythm to remember, and is neither too long nor too short# The &reath $he Dynamind $echni;ue concludes !ith a special type of breathing called 7piko2piko7 in ,a!aiian# $his type of breathing consists of inhaling !ith the attention on one point, in this case the top of the head, and e"haling !ith the attention on a second point, in this case the toes#$he concept is that this produces a !a e of energy bet!een the t!o points, but in any case the effect is both rela"ing and itali?ing# The +ound >ach se;uence of Statement, $ouch and (reath is called a 7:ound#7 %fter each round you check the status of the symptom and either stop the process, repeat the process, or change the process Ausually by changing the StatementC if the nature or location of the symptom has changed# Ima"ery Symbolic imagination may be added to the Dynamind $echni;ue !ith ery good results# $he process simply consists of translating the symptom into a symbol in the mind# 9hen this is done it is called a 7symbolic key7 or 7symkey7 and is usually intended to open an 7emotional lock,7 or 7emlock7 !hich occurs !hen emotional resistance inhibits the healing process and !ords are not effecti e# 9hen a symbolic key is used it is inserted after the Statement and before the $ouch# For many people, simply imagining !hat the symptom feels like !ill produce a symbol that can be !orked !ith# For e"ample1 7't feels like a knife87 7't feels like '=m dro!ning87 't feels like someone is choking me87 etc# $he !ay to !ork !ith the symbol is to change a negati e symbol into a positi e one !ith the imagination# Dsing the abo e e"amples, one could imagine pulling the knife out and thro!ing it a!ay8 being sa ed by a lifeguard8 or the choking hands letting go and disappearing# $he idea is to change the symbol in some !ay so that the e"perience of the symptom is also changed and the condition feels better than it !as# >"perience has sho!n that repetition of the change three times in a ro! is often more beneficial# For those !ho find it difficult to come up !ith a symbol, it is possible to create a symbol by asking a series of ;uestions1 4
