3. Overall goal of the project (no more than ¼ of a page)
Formulate only one MAIN goal of the project that seeks to address the problem(s) identified above. In this
section, also include information on how the project will contribute to the discussion on role of men in
combating gender based violence

What are the key activities to be implemented in the project? Include a timeline for undertaking them, and who
will be responsible for each. Note that project activities have to start 15th June and finish by 15th December 2009.

In a summary form, describe the main results of the project. List no more than three main results. Please also
describe how you will measure that these results have been achieved. (See mini-glossary below for a quick
explanation of terms.)

Mini-glossary

Results: The intended or achieved effects of an intervention. There are different levels of results: direct results such as
products, services and capacities that result from the completion of activities; short and medium term results; or long-
term changes to which the project contributes. Results give an indication of the impact of the project.

Indicators: Indicators are quantitative or qualitative measurements of results.
