Heat transfer fluids in HYSYS Components list in the Basis Environment (Refrigerants via tab at bottom) Provided by the

Aspen HYSYS support site and modified by W.R. Wilcox, Clarkson University (October 14, 2005) These fluids are presumably used for adding or removing heat as liquids, although some might be boiled or condensed. Contact the manufacturers for more details. Possible refrigerants in HYSYS Components list in the Basis Environment Provided by the Aspen HYSYS support site and modified by W.R. Wilcox, Clarkson University (October 14, 2005) These fluids are presumably used for removing heat by evaporation not far from the normal boiling point. They would subsequently be compressed and cooled to liquify them, before being recycled. Caution should be exercised using flammable or toxic compounds. Fluorinated hydrocarbons may be prohibited to avoid destruction of Earth's ozone layer.
