1.0

SCOPE
This tender should cover the supply and delivery as well as to providing training on
the use of the Industrial Videoscope to SESB Generation Engineering & Services
Department for the purposes of condition and monitoring at all SESB Power Station.

2.0

GENERAL
The Industrial Videoscope shall include the following parts & features:
1 unit of Industrial Videoscope with High-Resolution Color Image Sensor
2 Nos of Changable and Rechargable Lithium-Ion Battery (Up to 1 to 2 hours of
continuous operating time)
Charger
USB Cable

i.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES / REQUIREMENT

 The Industrial Videoscope supplied shall be covered by relevant factory test and
calibration test certificates issued by a recognized authority certifying the
operation and safety of the equipment.
The test certificates shall be submitted together in this tender.
Local Service Centre
After sales back-up service for the equipment and the software must be available.
Proper local service centre to do basic videoscope check and repair (whereby
needed) must be at reach.
Availability for client to rent a videoscope should the need arise locally.
Application Support
Manufacturer must be able to provide a latest update to user on Industrial
Videoscope development through newsletter should theres one.
Manufacturer and local distributor must be capable of organizing user forum to
continuously expand the knowledge of the user on the various application of
Industrial Videoscope.
5.0

TRANING & TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Full product training and familiarization on the equipment and the software must
be provided by a trained/licensed instructor.
Manufacturer must be able to offer all level of Industrial Videoscope user training
and meet the compliance of ASNT guidelines or equivalent including hardware
and software training.
Training must be at least ISO 9001 certified or equivalent.
Training must be carried out by certified personnel of similar field.
The supplier shall provide technical supports for the equipment to be supplied.

6.0

GUARANTEE
The Contractor/supplier shall guarantee the good performance of the Industrial
Videoscope under the contract.
The guarantee shall cover at least 12 months from the date of its first
commissioning.
The contractor/supplier shall be borne for any industrial defect or damage/s to any
part of the equipment as well as the installed software which may occur during
the guarantee period either due to material defective, workmanships and design.
The contractor/supplier must submit together an original letter from the
Malaysian distributor of the equipment he/she purposes to supply, confirming that
the contractor/supplier is the company recognized by the Malaysian distributor to
supply this said equipment to SESB, and that the Malaysian distributor shall
undertake to honour the warranty, and also are able to perform test, repair and
recalibration of the Industrial Videoscope in case of need during the warranty
period, and also after expiry of the meant warranty.
