To: The Archbishop of Canterbury, The Archbishop of York, Archbishop of Westminster, General Secretary of the Baptist Union, Senior Minister Kensington Temple, Senior Minister Jesus House, Senior Minister KICC, Senior Minister Holy Trinity Brompton, General Superintendent Elim Pentecostal Church, President of the Methodist Conference CC: Christian Today UK, The Christian Century, Premier Christian Media Calvary greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. You might be wondering why you have received an email from a person with a Muslim sounding name. Before I continue, let me declare my bona fides. I was born into a Muslim family, hence my name and a couple of years ago I surrendered by life to Jesus Christ. The Church in Britain is at a crossroad. We live in an era whereby our faith has been put to the test not only by government, but also by popular opinion. Twenty first century Britain is one of the most difficult times to be a Christian in living memory. The Scriptures is being challenged and Christians who choose to stand by their faith sometimes face the risk of arrest, loss of income, public ridicule or paying hefty fines. Popular opinion and a number of government laws have often put some Christians in situations where they have to choose between obeying Gods Law or obeying man made laws and opinions. A wise man once said, Under a government which imprisons unjustly, the true place for a just man is also a prison. If one is to rephrase this statement in the light of what is going on in todays Britain, one could say that in an environment where one has to choose between man made laws and the Word of God, the appropriate place for a Christian should be the Jail House. Attached to this email is a fictional/satirical work which I have just completed titled AlatenumoLeaks: The MORA Emails. This piece addresses the current challenges and potential challenges that the British church faces. As you are all leaders in the Christian community, I plead with you to remain strong and continue to defend the faith despite the tough opposition that we face. As Scripture tells us, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." Let us therefore remain steadfast and not compromise. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Selah. THE MORA EMAILS

LONDON Today, Thursday 30 April 2020, AlatenumoLeaks began publishing the MORA Emails More than 700 emails from the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA). The files relate to emails sent by the disgraced former Secretary of Ministry of Religious Affairs, Sir James Smith. The emails cover the period June 2015 to September 2018. The files expose the Ministrys plan to undermine Christians and reduce the influence of Christianity in Britain. AlatenumoLeaks has not revealed the name of the source (a Christian ex-employee of MORA) on the grounds of security and confidentiality. According to the source: When I saw the contents of these email, my conscience left me with no choice than to hand the files over to AlatenumoLeaks. The contents of these emails will be revealed over the coming days. HOW TO READ THE DATA The emails are published in chronological order. The subject field of the emails gives a high level summary of the issues discussed. Below is a glossary to help readers understand some of the terms used by Sir Smith in his emails. ABC - Anyone But Christ AABC Anyone and Anybody But Christ AAABC Anyone, Anybody and Anything But Christ Born Again or Born Again Christian A person that claims to have given his/her life to Jesus Christ Salvation- God's grace in delivering his people from bondage of sin and condemnation through Jesus Christ. When the Parliament constituted the governing Board, we were told to put structures in place to ensure that the Ministry helps promote religious harmony and oversee the relationship between the government and the various religious institutions in the country. Other responsibilities include: Promoting religious harmony Organising religious pilgrimages Conducting research on religious matters Reviewing religious curriculum in conjunction with the Ministry of Education Managing the relationship between the monarchy and the Church of England

What I am about to write next should be treated with strict confidence. Not even the Prime Minister or any Member of Parliament or anybody outside this committee should be privy to our discussions; otherwise we will all be out of a job. For long, this country has been intertwined with the church and the sooner this relationship is broken, the better it would be for Britain. The main vision of the MORA will be to promote an ABC and AABC society and reduce the influence of Christianity in our great country. This will be achieved using various methods, including downplaying the significance of Jesus, promoting a hostile environment for Born Again Christians, restricting the rights of Christians, revisiting Christian holidays and reexamining the interaction between Christianity and other faiths. I hope to flesh this out in future. Once again, I have to emphasise the confidential nature of this project and I look forward to working with you on this journey. From: Sir James Smith <james.smith@mora.uk.gov> Subject: ABC Date: 29 June 2015 10:22:58 GMT To: peter.williams@mora.uk.gov Sensitivity: Confidential Peter, Many thanks for your email and enquiry regarding further clarity about the ABC concept. In Christianity, Christ is at the centre of the religion, which is why the people who practice the religion are called CHRISTians (emphasis added). If we can succeed in taking Christ out of Christianity we would have succeeded in creating a new ineffective religion called Ianity. We will have to be very smart and subtle in stripping out Christ. The most effective way of doing this will be by promoting an ABC, AABC and AAABC agenda. If we can succeed in promoting anything else besides Christ, Britain will be better off. Hopefully, ABC should be as simple as ABC. It will be a long-term project, but if we persevere we will be victorious. From: Sir James Smith <james.smith@mora.uk.gov> Subject: State of The Church In Britain Date: 15 July 2015 19:17:06 GMT To: sue.james@mora.uk.gov, edward.martin@mora.uk.gov, john.moore@mora.uk.gov, peter.williams@mora.uk.gov, donna.evans@mora.uk.gov Sensitivity: Confidential All, Last week, we discussed the vision of the Ministry and our plan to use ABC, AABC and AAABC to undermine the church. Today I would like to discuss the current state of the British church. Britain still regards itself as a predominately Christian nation. According to the 2011 census, 33.2 million people described themselves as Christians. In 2001 there were around 37 million Christians. Even though Christianity is on the decline, I think 33.2 million Christians is a lot, so we have to do everything within our means to make Christianity a minority population by 2025. Fortunately, Christians might help us make our job easier. The Church is divided into

%!

various denominations such as Church of England, Methodist, Baptist, Catholics and Pentecostals. The church is also divided along colour lines. We have the black church and we have the white church. Infact to paraphrase what Martin Luther King once said, 11 o clock is the most segregated hour in Britain. Even among Black churches, we have the African churches and the Caribbean churches. Rather than focusing on the one thing that unites them i.e. Christ, a number of churches seem more preoccupied with stealing congregation members from one another. The jostle for congregation works to our advantage because it does not increase the number of Christian in Britain. In addition, there are many churches in the country that are receptive to toning down the potency of the application of Jesus teachings. The churches can also be classified into the fast growing and the slow growing churches. While the more established churches are experiencing a decline in congregation size, the Evangelical especially those populated by the immigrant communities are experiencing significant growth. Another observation about some of the churches is that the core message of Jesus Christ is gradually been replaced by the so-called prosperity Gospel. This brand of Gospel places the acquisition of wealth over the salvation of souls. Our objective should be to encourage this form of Gospel, as it is a derivative of the AAABC. It shifts attention away from Christ towards gold, cars, houses and clothes. If there is anything that I have omitted in my assessment of the British church, please let me know. Subject: MORAs Approach Towards Islam Date: 03 February 2016 07:15:19 GMT To: donna.evans@mora.uk.gov Sensitivity: Confidential Donna, You raise a very interesting point about our approach towards Islam. Despite your reservation towards Muslims coming into this country and their women wearing the hijab, I still think that Muslims should be given certain privileges because we need their money to fund our economy. Islamic finance is the next big thing and London is already the biggest centre of Islamic finance outside the Islamic world, but we have ambitions to become the preeminent Islamic Finance global hub. If this means throwing Christianity out of the bathtub, so be it. I know some Born Again Christians might complain, but who cares, they have nothing to offer the country financially.

From: Sir James Smith <james.smith@mora.uk.gov> Subject: Marriage Date: 08 April 2016 16:27:20 GMT To: sue.james@mora.uk.gov, edward.martin@mora.uk.gov, john.moore@mora.uk.gov, peter.williams@mora.uk.gov, donna.evans@mora.uk.gov Sensitivity: Confidential All, Marriage is one issue that I think we need to put some serious thought into. As you are all aware, Christians tend to be very sensitive on the issue of marriage. They think they have a monopoly on what marriage should or shouldnt be. While times have changed, Christians continue to live in an outdated world. Their Bible states that marriage should be a union between a man and a woman (emphasis added), and Born Again Christians are so narrow minded that they think bestiality is abnormal. Once anything is disallowed in their Bible, they oppose it. They need to realise that the Bible or what they call the Word of God is not the absolute truth. The truth is based on the opinion of the majority. If we conduct a poll on the issue of bestiality on social media, I am optimistic that the number of likes would exceed the number of dislikes. Furthermore, to deny animals the right to have sexual relations with human beings would be a breach of not only animal rights, but also human rights. Another reason why I think we should champion bestiality is because the West knows best. Britain is at the centre of Western influence, so if we can come up with a policy that advocates bestiality, we can enforce it on the whole world. The West has a monopoly on what is right and wrong. When we say something is black and the rest of the world says it is white, then it means that thing should be black; and when we say something is white and the rest of the world says it is black, then it means that the thing should be white. For instance, when Western governments encouraged slavery, slavery was right until we decided that it was immoral; when Western governments supported Apartheid, it was right, until we decided that it was unjust; when Western governments advocated Colonisation it was cool, until we decided it was not cool. Since we have a monopoly of ideas, I believe that we should promote bestiality rights as the civil rights movement of the 21st century. Unfortunately, I doubt if the present British government has the will power to implement our radical reforms because it will bow to pressure from Christians and other religious faiths. For now, lets be discreet on this issue until an opportune time when we might be able to convince others.

I have gone through the workshop minutes and action plan and would like to add a thing or two. Christianity is a 24 hour, seven days a week religion and contrary to popular opinion, it does not start and end in the church on Sunday mornings. Once these Born Again Christians leave their churches on Sunday, they are usually spiritually refreshed and the bold ones try to bring church into the workplace. Some zealous Christians believe that since they spend at least a third of their day at work, they have to influence the workplace. We cant allow that to happen. Structures are currently in place to prevent Christians from preaching to others. As a consequence, we have frightened many Christians from talking about their faith in the workplace, as they know that their employers could accuse them of discrimination. This is one area of where the AAABC principle is working effectively. While it is permissible to talk about football or tennis in the workplace, it is not permissible to talk about how Jesus Christ came to earth to die for peoples sins; while it is permissible to wear a Chelsea lapel pin at work, it is not permissible for a Christian to wear a crucifix; while it is permissible for a work colleague to invite another to go to a pub (even if the later does not drink for health, ethical or personal reasons), it is not permissible for a Christian to invite a work colleague to church. We have instilled so much fear in Christians thereby neutralising their impact in the workplace. But we could still go further what stops us from implementing a policy that requires Christians to denounce their faith before they can be gainfully employed? Another area where the impact of Christianity must be neutralised is in the educational sector. Its critical that we prevent children from learning more about the Christian faith in

(!

our schools. We should make our schools a place to detoxify Christian children from all the nonsense they might have learnt from their parents, the Bible or at Sunday school. When the time is right, we could discuss with our colleagues at the Ministry of Education the feasibility of making parents denounce their Christian faith before they can allow their children to get a good education. Another issue we need to address is the Creation vs. Evolution debate. I find it surprising that Christians believe in a God who created the heaven and the earth rather than the scientific view of evolution. How foolish they are. They dont understand that a big bang non-living matter can give rise to life. Even at the very simplistic view, one can evidence of the irrelevance of a creator God. Isnt it obvious that a stone can turn into a giraffe? Isnt it obvious that an iPod can be created on its own without the interference of any human being? I also understand that there are a number of Christian teachers in our schools who are teaching students that God created the world. We must not allow this. Any teacher who is caught disputing the theory of evolution must be sacked and banned from teaching. We will have to collaborate with the Ministry of Education to ensure that Christians are punished if they pollute our childrens minds with the biblical view of creation. Christian teachers that have been teaching students about Adam and Eve have been identified and in the next couple of weeks, they will be getting a warning letter to desist. If they continue, they will lose the jobs. Some of the churches continue to be supportive of our policies, while other churches are asleep focusing on the prosperity Gospel. So far, so good. However before AAABC can be effective all hands must be on deck. I think the most effective weapon we can use is to downplay the significance of Jesus. Personally, I find the name Jesus Christ very offensive and I am not the only one who feels this way. Besides finding the name offensive, it also makes me very uncomfortable. I am proposing that we put a system in place to make sure that anybody with a name

)!

that is a derivative of Christ has no choice but to carry out a change of name. The priority for the next week couple of weeks should be to identify people with names such as Christine, Christina, Chris, Christian, Christopher, Kristina, Kristian or Kristin by reviewing the electoral register, tax files and credit card records. Once we have identified the culprits, we should instruct them to change their name to anything else. I dont envisage any difficulty in them finding an alternative name because there are so many names to choose from. I welcome suggestions on how we can downplay the significance of Jesus Christ. From: Sir James Smith <james.smith@mora.uk.gov> Subject: Re: Christian Holidays Date: 05 June 2017 18:03:02 GMT To: sue.james@mora.uk.gov, edward.martin@mora.uk.gov, john.moore@mora.uk.gov, peter.williams@mora.uk.gov, donna.evans@mora.uk.gov Sensitivity: Confidential All, Many thanks for your input. It is a privilege working with some of the most intelligent people Britain has to offer. I particularly like the idea suggested by Edward regarding revisiting Christian holidays. We all know that Christmas is the most important holiday in the Christian calendar. It is a day set aside to mark the birth of Jesus Christ and it is celebrated all over the world. There is always a risk that the build up to the holiday and the day itself could draw more people to Christ. Fortunately for us, there are enough distractions to turn the general population away from Jesus. All we have to do is encourage these distractions. We should continue to shift the emphasis of the Christmas holiday away from Jesus by making it a celebration of everything but Christ. Sues suggestion about banning Nativity plays in schools may sound reasonable, but after serious consideration, I think we should allow the plays to continue because it is part of what I call the vulnerable effect. You may be wondering what I mean by the vulnerable effect. The vulnerable effect is a useful tool in neutralising a threat to an existing order. It has been used effectively in the West for over half a century. When a person comes out to challenge a society from a moral or social justice point of view, it is critical to make the person a hate figure and downplay what he/she is fighting for until the individual becomes vulnerable either through sickness, old age or death and then we begin celebrating them.

*+!

For instance, when Mandela was in his prime he was hate figure in the West and was referred to as a terrorist. However when he became old, he was then transformed into a saint. Likewise when Muhammad Ali, the boxer was challenging the US government on its racial policies and war on Vietnam, he was hated and threatened with prison. However, now that he is old and frail he is now celebrated throughout the world. Similarly, when Martin Luther King was fighting racism, militarism, economic inequality he was insulted, arrested and eventually killed. After his death, he is now celebrated and remembered around the world even though his message on economic injustice continues to be ignored. Today, we are ignoring Serena Williams accomplishment in the tennis world because she refuses to play by our rules, but once she retires and is old and no longer a threat, she will then be venerated in the West. How does this same principle apply to Jesus? Unlike Martin Luther King, Jesus is more dangerous after his death because he resurrected from the dead, took the key of death and is now seated on the right side of God as King. We should therefore continue to get people to remember Jesus only as a poor little baby wrapped in swaddling clothes, sleeping in a manger rather than as the King of Kings sitting on the throne. This way many non-Christian will be drawn away from the main reason of Jesus coming to earth to save souls. This is why I am glad that the general population does not know the significance of Easter and Good Friday. Now that we have put Jesus in the vulnerable position as a baby running away from King Herod, we have enough distractions to turn peoples attention from the true purpose of his birth. Christmas in todays Britain is all about the turkey, the Christmas trees, the snow, the presents, the mince pie, the trading updates, the Christmas lights, Santa Claus, sales and Eastenders in short ANTHING BUT CHRIST. We should let other faiths have a say on how Christmas is celebrated, after all, is it not the Christians that say, Christ died for all? I have always thought that Christmas should not be sole preserve of Christians and I suggest that we make it less offensive to other faiths by removing the word Christ from Christmas by renaming it Mas Holiday. Perhaps that would encourage more people to come out and spend, thereby boosting the corporate sector and our economy. I have to rush off, but please continue to brain storm and I will appreciate further feedback on the progress of churches. Cheers. The preacher kept on using the Bible as his source of authority. Since then, I have been thinking about how we can neutralise the potency of the Bible and have concluded that the best way to go about it is by claiming that it is dated. I would be more than happy to implement any of your suggestions on how we can attack the Word of God. Kind regards. Sir James Smith | Secretary of Religious Affairs | Tel +44 (0) 1974 100279 | james.smith@mora.uk.gov | Mora, 10th Floor, Broad Crescent, London, UK Mora.uk.gov Please consider the environment before printing this email From: Sir James Smith <james.smith@mora.uk.gov> Subject: Unauthorised QEV Date: 14 July 2017 12:04:23 GMT To:davidjackon@universityofmotcover.ac.uk, allenroberts@@universityofmotcover.ac.uk Sensitivity: Confidential Dear Professor Jackson and Professor Roberts, Our telephone conversation of last week refers. Before I continue let me once again stress the need to keep the contents of our discussions confidential. Nobody beside the three of us is aware of this plan to rewrite the Bible. Any future correspondence between us should be encrypted. The most effective way in which we can undermine Christianity is by attacking the Bible. The bad news is that the Bible has been around for many centuries and despite facing critical examination from philosophers, historians and scientists, it has stood the test of time. The good news is that we now live in a politically correct age. By making the Bible more politically correct we can reduce its potency.

*"!

I am therefore proposing creating a new Bible, which will for now be called the Unauthorised Queen Elizabeth Version Bible (QEV). I have used the word unauthorised because I am acting outside my remit and no one not even those who I work with are aware of this plan. As I told you on the call, I find the name of Jesus offensive and I also find the contents of the Bible very uncomfortable. The Bible should be neutral by appealing to everyone irrespective of age, colour, gender and sexual orientation. Everybody must be able to create God in his or her own image. So as experts in theology, I want you to rewrite the whole Bible to make it more appealing to all bearing in mind the following guidelines: Any reference to sin must be completely removed from the QEV. Remove any reference to heaven and hell. This scares people and I want people to be happy. It must be acceptable to blacks: Any reference to washing sins as white as snow is offensive to blacks so should be removed. Any reference asking people to repent for sins should be taken out. It must be acceptable to women: I dont like the fact that God is referred throughout the Bible as a HE. We need to refer to God as either IT or use HE and SHE interchangeably It must be acceptable to men. Why is it that women were the first to see a resurrected Jesus before his disciplines? It must be acceptable to environmentalists: Any reference to a burning bush or parting of the red sea needs to be revisited. It must be acceptable to animals: Instances of animal sacrifices must be removed. Also any reference to the Lamb of God that was slain must be taken out The devil should be taken out of the Bible. This also scares people Any word containing submission should be taken out. After all, we do not want to encourage people submitting to Christ. Words like Salvation, Cross, Saviour and Crucifixion should also be taken out. It must be acceptable to both gays and straights: Any reference to marriage between man and woman must be removed

If you can include these amendments, hopefully Christianity will be transformed into easily swallowed sound bites and the Bible into the language of Eastenders or Coronation Street.

Words like Lamb of God, and Jerusalem used in the anthem are offensive. Since non-Christians also watch rugby matches, why should we allow a Christian inspired anthem to be played? c) The Saint George Cross should and must be removed from the English flag. Infact I suggest that the flag be just plain grey (i.e. not white and not black hopefully this should appeal to all races). Jesus was crucified on a cross and it is the symbol for Christianity. If we continue to have a flag with a cross, then we are telling the world indirectly that we are associated with Christianity. We should also contact the Foreign Department and ask them to remove the cross from Guernseys flag. d) We should persuade the Ministry of Education to ban the Lords Prayer and Apostolic Creed in Christian schools. After all, we dont want school children saying, Jesus ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty or I believe in God the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. On another note, I would like to once again reemphasise the need to keep our discussions within the four walls of this department. Have a great weekend. Kind Regards.
