Managed the Service Department at an electrical contracting company. Converted a manual, paper-based office environment into a functional automated/computerized operation. Directed the eight-member Retail Product Management function. Developed, marketed and managed the retail product line originated through all affiliated banks, telemarketing call centers and direct mail. Grew consumer loan portfolio 14.5% in first year exceeding budget goals.

Developed, marketed and managed the consumer loan and credit insurance products/services delivered through the retail branch system, telemarketing call center, mortgage subsidiary and indirect auto finance. Revamped the existing consumer loan product line including home equity lines of credit, second mortgages, unsecured line of credit and personal loan product. As a result, the direct consumer loan portfolio doubled over a four-year period. Established ProvidentDIRECT, a telemarketing call center, which generated over 50% of all direct loan volume within two years.

Managed the product development and marketing of the small business deposit and loan product set. Small Business was consistently one of the most profitable areas of the bank. Conducted a commercial checking advertising campaign that produced account volumes 2-1/2 times greater than prior year. Produced branch sales aids to better integrate Business Banking into branch routines. Aids included consolidated product brochures with customization options, streamlined disclosures and account opening worksheets. As liaison, coordinated home equity promotions achieving 120% of bank goals. Successfully merged the Maryland National/Equitable Bank consumer loan functions and portfolios.
