He has been performing concerts internationally, including several appearances at the Blue Note in New York, and recently he performed on Japanese National Television. Hiroya has developed a unique style of acoustic music blending folk music and his Japanese roots. All are welcome! Bach to the Future Sunday, March 30 at 2:00 PM Classical and Jazz Piano breaks down the boundaries between these genres and takes the listener on a global musical experience of the last three centuries. Comparing and contrasting the piano classics of the 18th and 19th century European masters with their reinvention by the 20th century American jazz icons, Yamaha Piano Artist Alexander A. Wu gives an incredible performance. All are welcome! PROGRAMS: POW! The History of Superhero Movies Thursday, March 6, 7:00 8:30 PM Get ready for this years big comic book flicks with a look back at the best ones. Your host, Clive Young, author of Homemade Hollywood, is a writer and editor based in NYC. Clive will explore 80 years of super-powered cinema tracing the evolution of these films from Saturday morning serials of yesteryear to the box office blockbusters of today!
