MODULE II: DESIGN AGAINST STATIC LOADS 1. Define static and fatigue stress concentration factors and establish relationship between them. 2. A bracket is subjected to a vertical force of 10 KN is shown in figure 1. It is fastened to a vertical plate by means of four identical bolts.
