Quiet and Good to the Environment

The first thing you notice a bout the New YEG series is that there is so little noise. Yanmars own CAE techniques have gauged the stiffness of materials just right and damped radiant noise. Those methods have also produced the perfect muffler volumes and optimum use of sound isolation materials. It all adds up to extralow noise that is ideal for use in ur ban and resident i al areas. The all-round people-friendliness is o bvious in the exhaust data, too, thanks to the Yanmar TNV engine. It features even better flow mixing in the main chamber and the special mouth around the injector, plus efficient use of incoming air for cleaner bur ning and low emissions. The New YEG series gives the air and fuel charging more fluid energy. The swirl continues during combustion for even better mixing and lower emissions. The New YEG series is kind to the environment. Beside low noise and emissions, it cont a ins no as bestos, mercury, polybrominated biphenyl, polybrominated diphenyl ether or cadmium. The use of safe materials was a core theme from the word go.

Compact, Powerful and Long-lasting

Yanmar has a long t radition of producing world-beating small, hardworking engines. Their combination here with su per b Single-phase, Twowire generators, t ried and test ed in many harsh working environments across Asi a a nd the Middle East, brings su bst ant ially b igger generat ion ca pacit y for t he same package size. The sound proofed bonnet is lightweight and t akes up very little space. The TNV are Yanmars st ate-of-t hear t small indust ri al eng ines, now even more dura ble than ever due to enhanced block cooling, stiffer cranks and pistons, and finer journal and other tolerance. The gensets have prot ective devices against lu brication oil pressure drop, excessive water temperature rise and fault y b at tery charg ing. These are gensets that will cont inue to run and run.

All the Safety of Yanmar

Full attent ion is given to the fine details of safet y and dependa bility that count for so much. The out pu t terminals are covered and placed well way from the inst rument panel to prevent elect ric shocks etc. An earth terminal is included. All rotating par ts are well covered, too, for accident-free o peration. The use of damper coils in the brushless, AVR generation increases relia bility still further by equalizing wave distort ion.
