Description In this workshop, you will learn how to effectively use the Scoring functionality in
Ariba Sourcing.
Frequently, organizations running RFxs have a need to incorporate subjective

answers into their decision-making criteria. In other words, the decision is not

always about the price or total cost of an item. In these cases, you may choose to
ask the suppliers questions as well as their pricing for the items or services.
When the supplier responds, you can either have the system calculate how good
that response is, based on pre-configured criteria, or you can have team
members assist you in the grading process. All of this and more will be
addressed in the Using Scoring in Ariba Sourcing workshop.

workspaces in Ariba Category Management, Ariba Contract Workbench, Ariba
Sourcing Professional, or Ariba Contract Management.
Session 3
When creating projects or workspaces, one of the most important decisions is
