How to design and implement sampling and testing programmes. This 1-day course will show you how to design and implement sampling and testing studies. It has been 'specially designed for anyone involved or about to become involved in geometallurgical programmes. Geometallurgy is the understanding of metallurgical parameter variability based on geoscientific information such as mineralogy, grade, geochemistry and lithology. Geometallurgy aims to model variability within an orebody to allow optimal exploitation. To develop knowledge of metallurgical variability requires the collection of samples and their subsequent testing.
