Job Purpose
JOB OUTLINE:

To create maximum awareness in Karnataka market. To maintain sales and high standard of service to customers according to company procedures in order to achieve maximum revenue. Responsible for the control of export and import cargo operations within the territory Develop Emirates Cargo Product to ensure optimum uplifts of cargo in order to achieve stations revenue targets and increase the regional market share profitably. Develop appropriate traffic mix to support system-wide targets Continuously monitor market trends; compile cargo related statistical information and provide feedback / recommend sales policies to headquarters through the Cargo Route Manager/Cargo Manager India & Nepal to enable them to plan effective commercial and marketing strategy. Recommend; implement and effectively control local market pricing within the parameters of authority from the Cargo headquarters; in order to achieve and contribute towards route and points of sale objectives and lead yield improvement initiatives in the market . Plan; develop; direct and control Cargo Services within the territory (including Road Feeder Services) to maintain; develop and promote EK sales and image. Research; plan and develop the station cargo services in order to assist headquarters in development and enhancement of EKs distribution logistics. Continuously review and develop product quality against specifications to enhance customer loyalty. Ensure productivity levels are maintained at targeted levels. Manage station cargo staff in compliance with corporate / local regulations; policies and procedures to ensure the maintenance of a disciplined; motivated work force with effective utilisation of human and material resources to pro-actively achieve cargo related goals. Ensure credit policies and financial controls and reporting are in line with Company policies Establish SLA with GHA; review and monitor service levels with a view to constantly improve service level. Set procedures to facilitate imports; transshipment and bonded trucking with a view to improve imports activities.

Qualifications & Experience

Practical knowledge of Cargo affairs of an international nature University Graduate and ability to be able to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) in English. A dynamic and motivated candidate with a proven record suitable to match and maintain the professional reputation of EK at international level
