HAT Using Karma and circular needle, cast on 56 (63) sts. Join in a round, placing a marker at the beginning of the round and being careful not to twist stitches. Knit until piece measures 4 (5) from cast on edge. Shape Top: Note: Switch to double pointed needles when hat is too small to fit around circular needle. Round 1: *K2tog, K5,* repeat from * to * around - 48(54) sts. Rounds 2&3: Knit Round 4: *K2tog, K4*, repeat from * to * around - 40 (45) sts. Rounds 5&6: Knit Round 7: *K2tog, K3*, repeat from * to * around - 32 (36) sts. Round 8: Knit Round 9: *K2tog, K2*, repeat from * to * around - 24 (27) sts.

Round 10: Knit Round 11: *K2tog, K1*, repeat from * to * around - 16 (18) sts. Round 12: K2tog to end 8 (9) sts. Break yarn, thread through remaining stitches twice, pull up and secure.
