As a participle it means "one who abounds in strength," etc. As a noun it is "superabundant fertility," "oil," etc. So that as a numeral it is the superabundant number. As seven was so called because the seventh day was the day of completion and rest, so eight, as the eighth day, was over and above this perfect completion, and was indeed the first of a new series, as well as being the eighth. Thus it already represents two numbers in one, the first and eighth. Messiah rose on the third day, but it was actually the first day of the week, which according to Bullinger, should alert us to the reality that Messiahs day of choice to defeat death should hearken the holy spark inside each us that Yeshuas resurrection is overly-super-abundant with life, new beginning and far sufficient to deliver us from our failures, our sins, a haunting past, or a dark closet. God is trying to tell us that we are unified to & by the work done by His Son and His resurrection is a call for us to walk in the Super-Abundance of His provision, His deliverance, His Salvation, His Redemption, His Righteousness, His Love, His Glory and His Plan! It is enough! And everyday He is Renewing us, calling us to another New Beginning! Beginning in Leviticus chapter 9 verse 22 we read, 22 Then Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them, and he stepped down after making the sin offering and the burnt offering and the peace offerings.
23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting. When they came out and blessed the people, the glory of the LORD appeared to all the people.
24 Then fire came out from before the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the portions of fat on the altar; and when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces. NAS Leviticus 10:1 Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took their respective firepans, and after putting fire in them, placed incense on it and offered strange fire before the LORD, which He had not commanded them.
2 And fire came out from the presence of the LORD and consumed them, and they died before the LORD.
3 Then Moses said to Aaron, "It is what the LORD spoke, saying, 'By those who come near Me I will be treated as holy, And before all the people I will be honored.'" So Aaron, therefore, kept silent. (Lev 9:22-10:3 NAS) Lev.9:1-11:47 2Sam.6:1-7:17 Mk.7:1-23

As we explore this passage we must attempt to identify with Aharon if we are to even begin to grasp the absolute terror that seemingly devastates a time appointed for the ordination of the priesthood, and a time celebration. We read at the end of the passage that after Aharons sons Nadab and Abihu are killed, that Aharon kept silentnot even allowing himself time to grieve. The Etz Hayyim commentators query What, then, is the unusual significance of Aarons silence? Perhaps the text is suggesting that there are more possibilitiesand more powerin silence than in any words (Aaron Was Silent, p.634). In the book of Ecclesiastes we read,
A time to be quiet and a time to speak. 11 Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end (Ecc 3:7, 11 NLT)
Beloved, in large part, what were witnessing here in Aharons choice to refrain from what many would consider a natural outpouring of emotion, reveals what many of us should strive forno, Im not insinuating to cut ourselves off from our heartrather, realizing that the tragic demise of Aarons sons came from disobedience to YHVHs command! The word here for being silent, or holding ones peace is H1826 damam daw-mam' A primitive root (compare H1724, H1820); to be dumb; by implication to be astonished, to stop; also to perish: - cease, be cut down (off), forbear, hold peace, quiet self, rest, be silent, keep (put to) silence, be (stand), still, tarry, wait. Knowing the right time to speak, to act, to move, or to be still, to stop and wait shows a great degree of spiritual maturity. It also shows a heart fully devoted to YHVH. As much as Aaron suffered the loss of his children Aaron understood his purposewhich outweighed the immediate urge to grieve. Sometimes, exercising our will to stand up for righteousness despite our heart pains that would urge us to take ourselves up off of the altar of Living Sacrifice are the moments we grow the most.

In Hebrew the word is machtah, makh-taw' & it means in the sense of removal; a pan for live coals: - censer, firepan, snuffdish. Simply it means to break, dread, broken, fear, dismayed, to break in pieces. Are we not to come to The Father, broken, humble, contrite? The Father listens to those who are humble and who approach Him in reverential fear and awe. 19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them. (Psa 145:19 NAS) 17 The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God. (Psa 51:17 NLT) What were the censers used for? Examine the priest drawing at the beginning again. Hes holding a censer there. Inside were burning coals from off the altar of sacrifice and then incense was poured over them and contained in the censor. So, according to Rev. 5:8 we learn 8 When he took the scroll, the four living beings and the twenty- four elders fell down in front of the Lamb. Yeshua taught us how to pray, even to pray for our enemiesis that how we pray today? Selah :o) Looking at Nadab and Abihu, looking at Uzzah and David, looking at the Pharisees and the Torah teachers who confronted Yeshua in an argument about man-made traditions we see a common thread that runs through them all. In their own mindthey believed they were standing up for and doing what was right. But the question is did what they believe to be right line up in Torah with what YHVH declared to be right? What position did Nadab and Abihu fill? What position did Uzzah and David fill? What position did the Pharisees and the Torah Teachers fill? Nadab & Abihu: sons of Aaron, of the tribe of Levi, ordered to the service of The Holy Tabernacle and the service thereof. Uzzah: Some sources (The Works of Josephus, Holmans Illustrated Bible Dictionary) agree that Uzzah was a Levite, from the same family that came out of exile from Babylon back to Judah (Ezra 2:49). A family of temple servants. So Uzzah, being a Levite himself would be thoroughly educated in the proper way to transport all of the temple furnishings. King David: When Israel had a king, they were instructed by YHVH to write their own Torah Scroll! So even if Uzzah had not been a Levite, David was thoroughly knowledgeable in the proper means of transporting the furnishings of the Tabernacle. 4 people, all given positions of service of The Tabernacleand each disregarded THE COMMANDMENT. Resulting in the death of three, and the bitter grieving by King David at the fall of Uzzah. All of them filled a sacred and holy positions, each with a calling and special responsibility. But not only towards God, these positions were recognized by the Lev.9:1-11:47 2Sam.6:1-7:17 Mk.7:1-23

people. When Nadab and Abihu, or Uzzah, or King David or the Pharisees or Torah Teachers walked by, they were identified and stood out among the people why? Because these were people that were recognized for holding positions not only of leadership, but were responsible to reveal the character of God to them, to help open Torah up to them that they would be better equipped to understand and walk out Gods truth in their own day-to-day living! And so with such a responsibility came over time a measure of prestige and honor. Honoring a position of leadership is not wrong, that is not what were trying to convey! What we are revealing here though is that these positions of leadership were granted by God, and so a great deal of responsibility fell upon these folks shoulders, and one thing they had to be constantly on guard for is being aware if they were leading with Gods truth, or what they Felt what was right in a given moment. And from everyone who has been given much shall much be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more. (Luk 12:48 NAS) Because the people closely observed those in positions of leadership; which is why it was vital that a person in a position of leadership be able to discern and choose with a heart of wisdom and humility, not a heart of selfish ambition and pride. If the King sours, the people sour. If the priest had good intentions but fails to follow Gods outline, before long the temple becomes defiled, the people lose reverence for the priesthood, for God, for the blessings of protection bestowed upon them and suddenly you wake up in Babylon, or dont wake up at all! LOOK AT OUR POLITICAL LEADERS OF TODAY, LOOK AT OUR RELIGIOUS LEADERS OF TODAY IS THERE ANY WONDER WHY OUR POLITICAL/RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS ARE IN SHAMBLES? If we are ever going to rise above the shackles of the enemy of our souls we are going to have to lay aside our ideas of what righteousness is, of how to do something correctly, and seek Gods way. 12 There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. (Pro 14:12 NAS) And once we stop doing things the way we think are right, then you know what will happen? We will be able to see The Heart of YHVH. Do you hear me? ARE YOU LISTENING? If we will humble ourselves, if we will quit looking for an angle to elevate our name, if we will refuse the attention of manand value Gods attention morethen HE will reveal HIS Heart to us.
