1 Business Logic
1. This document explains about a comprehensive configuration to automate and operate a 200 tph crushing. If the configuration is broadly followed this becomes a comprehensive plan for other crusher plants globally in a corporate for easy set up other similar plants. The logic assumes Project Tasks listed below to be preformed to achieve desired aggregates termed as captive resources. 2. Import Project Tasks from a listed excel file as under which is the target quantity of business to be achieved in a calendar year
Group Project Task Code Unit Qty Description
Carryout drilling using rock drills/wagon drills for 100 mm dia holes; Drilling @ 30 feet/10 metre per hour & 300 feet/100 metre per shift OR 180 metre per day on a grid of 2.5x2.5 m with 9 metre /28 feet holes which can give 3000 tonnes of stone per day Controlled blasting using Column, Booster, Nonels & Detonators on an average grid of 2.50x2.50x 9 (8'x8'x28'); 9 columns/ 9 boosters each 2.75 kg with 450 mm long and inserting alternatively and one nonel per hole and joining all Nonels with one Detonator Pushing down the blasted muck and making the next face ready Secondary breaking of oversized boulders in to feed size Loading the blasted muck in to the trucks for transporting Transporting the feed boulders to stock point/crusher

3 Global Components
3. Create Global Components in page link http://ttd.aeclogic.com/OMS/ComponentTypes.aspx. A
prefix 'gc' is added to each of the Global Component for clarity. In practice this may not be
required if the user falls in routine mode of practice. 4. Three such global components such as gcCrusherOperation, gcQuarryOperation and gcTransportation may be created. Definition of these components at global level sets business principles for other similar projects and setting technical / design / drawing standards planning at corporate level inherited to other projects.
4 Master Tasks
5. Create Master Tasks with similar Names of Project Tasks. A prefix mt is added to each of the Master Task for clarity. http://ttd.aeclogic.com/OMS/TaskMaster.aspx?m=menu 6. Create >> mtDrilling, mtBlasting, mtBreaking, mtLoading, mtTransportation and mtCrushing and more if project requires as shown in the image. This step sets common tasks for sharing and inheriting specifications, units, enabling other similar projects at corporate level for resource planning

7. Create /Import Project Tasks (A prefix pt is added to each of the Project Tasks for clarity) in page http://ttd.aeclogic.com/OMS/ImportPrjTask.aspx. 8. Create >> ptDrilling, ptBlasting, ptBreaking, ptLoading, ptTransportation & ptCrushing or as the project requires.

8 Project Components
12. Select Global Component >> Create Project Component >> Set Chainages and Description >> Set Project Tasks >> Create. A prefix pc is added to each of the Project Component for clarity and explanation here. 13. Create pcDayShift and pcNightShift against each of Project Tasks that can run in two shifts; put chainages as 0 to 1 which has no influence on the configurations. This is required for Convenience in terms of physical objects for day to day reference working.

14. Initially when the Project Component Day shift was created the project task with the day shift project component is seen. We add another project component for the night shift apart from multiple project tasks linked to one project component.

18. Click Add menu beside the Sub-Components to see the next image actions.
19. Select two more tasks to be performed at night as well. Please note that the blasting operation is not allowed in nights so the task is left for day shift itself (the example is simply explained as a logical and functional reason which may not be applicable at other instances). We may also name the day/night shifts as stage 1, 2, 3 and so on or Loc 1, 2, 3 etc which have assignable with dimensions/times.

12 Rate analysis
30. Win OMS >> Budget >> Analysis form: For example let us analyse ptDrilling >> Set Target Qty>> Add Resources >> Assignments to these resources >> Set rates to as per production capabilities. The business logic is assumed to be as "Carryout drilling using rock drills/wagon drills for 100 mm dia holes; Drilling @ 30 feet/10 meter per hour & 300 feet/100 meter per shift OR 180 meter per day on a grid of 2.5x2.5 m with 9 meter /28 feet holes which can give 3000 tonnes of stone per day" 1. Take a Target Qty=180m to be produced in one day; 2. Add Assignments for Resources > Drill machine LM 100, Drill bit and Air Oil
31. Detailed Rate analysis of the critical items is as shown below with cost calculations for line each item.

16 Procurement
47. Procurement process for the resources indented is as usual as explained in business processes master document. Once all the resources are procured and available for project execution next step is taken up to record progress and automate business.
25

49. The following Blasting task contains material and labour charge to perform blasting operation. This is best example to check norms with respect to the planned quantities.
50. Following image is the main crushing item that performs production of aggregates. Maximum expenditure is involved in the item below.
18 Progress Recording
51. The following three images show expenditure, production and progress of the main project task ptCrushing.
26
[ BUSINESS PROCESSES FOR CONFIGURING A 200 TPH CRUSHER September 10, 2013 UNIT ]
52. The expenditure is actual machinery logs and material consumption as per site incorporation. Production is actual stock counting of measurement at the end of the shift or day work. Progress is the expected target achievement for the designed resource performance.
53. The production should always match with the planned resources. Any variances shall get reflected in the reports. For the example case below the ptCrushing days target is 828.729 tonne where as production of Dust, aggregates 10 mm to 40 mm sums up to 800 tonne leaving about 28.729 tonne
54. The progress is recorded in the unit of mass as originally planned and analyzed based on number of weighed loads input in to the hopper feed. This can be achieved by suitable log as convenient at site.
