1 Business Logic
1. This document explains about a comprehensive configuration to automate and operate a 200 tph crushing. If the configuration is broadly followed this becomes a comprehensive plan for other crusher plants globally in a corporate for easy set up other similar plants. The logic assumes Project Tasks listed below to be preformed to achieve desired aggregates termed as captive resources. 2. Import Project Tasks from a listed excel file as under which is the target quantity of business to be achieved in a calendar year

3 Global Components
3. Create Global Components in page link http://ttd.aeclogic.com/OMS/ComponentTypes.aspx. A

prefix 'gc' is added to each of the Global Component for clarity. In practice this may not be
required if the user falls in routine mode of practice. 4. Three such global components such as gcCrusherOperation, gcQuarryOperation and gcTransportation may be created. Definition of these components at global level sets business principles for other similar projects and setting technical / design / drawing standards planning at corporate level inherited to other projects.

4 Master Tasks
5. Create Master Tasks with similar Names of Project Tasks. A prefix mt is added to each of the Master Task for clarity. http://ttd.aeclogic.com/OMS/TaskMaster.aspx?m=menu 6. Create >> mtDrilling, mtBlasting, mtBreaking, mtLoading, mtTransportation and mtCrushing and more if project requires as shown in the image. This step sets common tasks for sharing and inheriting specifications, units, enabling other similar projects at corporate level for resource planning

6 Set Relation between Project Tasks and Master Tasks

9. Set Master Tasks to each of the Project Tasks (Automatic driven and manual changes) by mapping each Project Task to a Master Tasks during after the import process or manual creation as the case may be. This is a system requirement for integration. For example we set ptDrilling to mtDrilling in page http://ttd.aeclogic.com/OMS/EditAllTasks.aspx

7 Set Relation between Global Components and Master Tasks

10. Task Relations >> Add >>Select Global Component >> Select related Tasks (multiple allowed) and SAVE. For example let us select 1. gcQuarryOperation that contains few Master Tasks (like mtDrilling, mtBlasting, and mtBreaking etc) to be selected. 2. gcTransportation with mtTrasnportation and mtLoading, 3. gcCrushing with mtCrushing
http://ttd.aeclogic.com/OMS/TaskComponents.aspx 11. These configurations are required for convergence of business principles at corporate level for similar and repeated projects for sharing common properties such as technical, design, drawing and specifications. For similar projects in future this step can be skipped unless new items join affecting business process

14 Actual Planning (Pre Set)

35. We have budgets, schedules tasks and components well defined to perform day to day business operations. OMS >> Actual Planning >> Pre Set >> we have the work space shown in the image below to perform pre planning actions before we freeze plan to execute the project. 36. If the planned resources are available to the user can skip few of the following two topics below and resume Actual Planning (Post Set) to freeze and proceed with progress booking

14.1 Budgeted Task Coefficients

37. Click on the Budgeted Task Coefficients to see the budget preformed under above steps. Click Save on the command button "Save as Production Coeff" to show the next image

21

Actual Planning (Pre Set) | AEC Logic Pvt Ltd

[ BUSINESS PROCESSES FOR CONFIGURING A 200 TPH CRUSHER September 10, 2013 UNIT ]

14.2 Production Coeff (PC)

38. Click on the Production Coeff (PC) of Master Task bar as seen in the previous image to reach the following image. Select PC and click "Apply to Sub Tasks" to set the selected Production Coeff to the subtask for the day planned or for all days under the schedule.

22

Actual Planning (Pre Set) | AEC Logic Pvt Ltd

[ BUSINESS PROCESSES FOR CONFIGURING A 200 TPH CRUSHER September 10, 2013 UNIT ]

39. On previous action the following image indicates availability of machines apart from prompting requisitions to be sent for hiring/owning.

40. Set PCs to all Tasks and subtasks and for all days as explained in the above steps.

15 Material Requirement Plan (MRP)

41. Based on the Project Task quantities, schedules and rate analysis, production coefficients for each one of the subtasks differently at different times and doses that we have performed in above steps would create a Material Requirement Plan (MRP) as already calculated by OMS. 42. Now we require procuring these machines, materials, manpower and contract by sending requisitions for approving them or taking decisions at administrative level by making top level decisions whether to buy machines hire or subcontract as the case may be. 43. The material requirement for one month is as under OMS >> Engineering >> Resource Requisition at http://ttd.aeclogic.com/OMS/ProjectResourceRequirement.aspx.

23

Material Requirement Plan (MRP) | AEC Logic Pvt Ltd

[ BUSINESS PROCESSES FOR CONFIGURING A 200 TPH CRUSHER September 10, 2013 UNIT ]

15.1 Indents Requisitioned

44. Under OMS >> Administration >> Indents Requisitioned process enables the project management team whether or not to own, hire or subcontract a particular work depending on viability, convenience, proximity among several issues. http://ttd.aeclogic.com/OMS/IndentProcess.aspx 45. If a machine is required to be owned, the management may opt for PO, else WO. Number of machines/manpower hours per month for work resources enables the required numbers for procurement under double shift or multiple shifts as the case may be.

15.2 Exclude Captive Resources

46. Two resources namely, 'Drilled Holes' and 'stone Spalls Sized' are captive resources that get produced during respective operations and therefore we need not procure them. They get generated during a prior process to be incorporated in to the next process. System takes care of these effects wherever required.

24

Material Requirement Plan (MRP) | AEC Logic Pvt Ltd

[ BUSINESS PROCESSES FOR CONFIGURING A 200 TPH CRUSHER September 10, 2013 UNIT ]

16 Procurement
47. Procurement process for the resources indented is as usual as explained in business processes master document. Once all the resources are procured and available for project execution next step is taken up to record progress and automate business.

17 Actual Planning (Post Set)

48. Few images are shown in the images below as examples of project tasks ptDrilling, ptBalsting and ptCrushing for clarity. Here we check the preset values and effecting changes if any on planned coefficients based on site conditions. If changes are made user needs to click update link.

25

Procurement | AEC Logic Pvt Ltd

49. The following Blasting task contains material and labour charge to perform blasting operation. This is best example to check norms with respect to the planned quantities.

50. Following image is the main crushing item that performs production of aggregates. Maximum expenditure is involved in the item below.

18 Progress Recording
51. The following three images show expenditure, production and progress of the main project task ptCrushing.

26

Progress Recording | AEC Logic Pvt Ltd

[ BUSINESS PROCESSES FOR CONFIGURING A 200 TPH CRUSHER September 10, 2013 UNIT ]
52. The expenditure is actual machinery logs and material consumption as per site incorporation. Production is actual stock counting of measurement at the end of the shift or day work. Progress is the expected target achievement for the designed resource performance.

53. The production should always match with the planned resources. Any variances shall get reflected in the reports. For the example case below the ptCrushing days target is 828.729 tonne where as production of Dust, aggregates 10 mm to 40 mm sums up to 800 tonne leaving about 28.729 tonne

54. The progress is recorded in the unit of mass as originally planned and analyzed based on number of weighed loads input in to the hopper feed. This can be achieved by suitable log as convenient at site.
