The Denver Police Department is scheduled to crush Balazs Toth’s vehicle on Tuesday, October
27, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. The vehicle will be crushed at Colorado Auto and Parts which is located
at 2151 West Radcliffe Avenue in Englewood, CO. The Denver Police Public Nuisance
Abatement Unit will crush Toth’s vehicle because he attempted to lure a child to have sex with
him via the internet.

On December 5, 2008, the Denver Police Department arrested Balazs Toth (08/09/1972), for
Luring of a Child via the internet in the McDonald’s parking lot located at West Colfax Avenue
and North Osage Street. The suspect was transported to the Denver Police Headquarters.

Toth was a teacher at a Catholic School and taught students the same age as the victim in this
case. On June 30, 2009, Toth was sentenced to 90 days in County Jail and five years sex
offender probation which requires him to register as a sex offender. He was charged with
various internet crimes involving children, but pleaded guilty to Criminal Attempt to Commit
Sexual Assault on a Child.

Based on the investigation of this case, the suspect’s vehicle was declared a Class One Public
Nuisance under the Denver Revised Municipal Code, Section 37-50 (c) (19).
Sec. 37-50. Definitions.

(c) Public nuisance, Class one (1): Any parcel of real property, personal property, or
motor vehicle on or in which any of the following illegal activity occurs, or which is
used to commit, conduct, promote, facilitate, or aid the commission of or flight from
any of the following activities. For purposes of this section, the illegal activity shall
have the same definition as that contained in the section of the Colorado Revised
Statute (C.R.S.), as amended, or the section of the Denver Revised Municipal Code
(D.R.M.C.), as amended, listed after the illegal activity:

19. Sexual assaults or attempted sexual assaults, C.R.S. sections 18-2-101, 18-3-402, 18-3-
404, 18-3-405, 18-3-405.3, 18-3-405.5.

The Denver Police Public Nuisance Abatement Unit filed a civil case on the suspect vehicle and
the conclusion is the vehicle will be crushed at the Colorado Auto and Parts located in
Englewood, CO, on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. The address and map are listed
