Detach and position the D-pillar trim panels aside. If equipped, remove the gimp around the roof opening panel.
Removal and Installation 1. If equipped, remove the rear auxiliary A/C controls. For additional information, refer to Section 412-02. If equipped, remove the rear entertainment system. For additional information, refer to Section 415-00. Remove the overhead console. For additional information, refer to Section 501-12. Remove the A-pillar trim panels. For additional information, refer to A-Pillar Trim Panel in this section. Detach and position the B-pillar trim panels aside. 6. Position the door opening weatherstrips aside.
10. Remove the 4 sun visor retainer screws. 11. Remove the sun visors. 12. Carefully lower the headliner at the corner of the sun visor location to access the electrical connector and disconnect the electrical connector. 13. Disconnect the roof opening panel electrical connector. 14. If equipped, disconnect the interior mirror electrical connector and electronic compass sensor connector. 15. Use a thin-bladed tool and carefully remove the dome lamp cover. 16. Disconnect the dome lamp electrical connectors. 17. Use a thin-bladed tool and carefully remove the cargo lamp cover. 18. Disconnect the cargo lamp electrical connector.

Detach and position the C-pillar trim panels aside. Position the door opening weatherstrips aside.

Remove the rear upper headliner trim panel. Position the liftgate opening weatherstrip aside.

23. Remove the rear pin-type retainer. 24. Disconnect the electrical connector and the wiring pin-type retainers on the A-pillar.
21. Disconnect the electrical connector located at the C-pillar. Release the wiring harness pin-type retainers.

CAUTION: To prevent bending or damaging the headliner, an assistant is required to support the headliner while carrying out the remaining steps. Open the sun visor center retainer cover and remove the screw.
