DESIGN OF MONITOR-AND-CONTROL SYSTEM FOR SUPERMARKET FRESH AREA BASED ON ZIGBEE, IEEE 2011.

AIM: The aim of this project is to design of monitor-and-control system for Supermarket Fresh Area based on Zigbee. PURPOSE: According to the status that most of supermarkets cant effectively monitor the temperature and humidity around food of fresh area in our country currently the thesis designs a hierarchical topology central monitoring system based on Zig!ee "ireless sensor net"ork #$S%&. DESCRIPTION:
(urrently in the most of our supermarkets fresh food #meat seafood vegetables fruit etc& are put on the sale desk by spreading through air conditioning at the end of the counter or capping "ith ice

cluster on the counter. These methods are likely to cause fresh food heated at top side "hile cold on the bottom side temperature and humidity uneven "hich easily make the food go bad and cause economic losses. Avoiding this the staffs of the supermarket have to add air conditioning or replace ice cluster or spray mist from time to time. !ecause of the lack of effective monitoring system adding air conditioning or spraying mist is manipulated by the staff "ith e)perience. As fresh food is distributed "ildly ambient temperature and humidity parameters of fresh food are tested by hand-hold instrumentation regularly "hich has lo" efficiency and is more difficult to achieve a real-time automatic detection and intelligent control. This increases the difficulty of the staffs "ork and to some e)tent increases the difficulties of preservation for fresh food. Zigbee technology is a t"o-"ay "ireless net"ork technology of a short distance lo" comple)ity lo" po"er and lo"-cost. .The nodes could be e)panded up to *++,*. 't also has the advantages of lo" po"er consumption. $orking in energy saving mode the t"o batteries supply energy up to - year and a half or so. !ased on these monitoring project for Supermarket fresh area is proposed and designed using Zigbee "ireless sensor net"ork. The system is composed of node modules "hich are based on high performance single chip ((./,0 that integrates Zig!ee "ireless net"ork technology and the modern management center. !y the implementation of platform of soft"are and hard"are the 1anagement (enter monitor temperature and humidity of nodes located in different parts of the fresh food area. 'n addition the system has an automatic alarm and regulation system. 'f the detected data information e)ceeds the set threshold the host displays "arning information on the screen immediately sends a "arning instruction to the corresponding node to drive the "arning module to alarm so as to alert staff. And also it starts the regulation module and opens the solenoid valve to automatically adjust temperature and humidity around the food through air conditioning or "ater mist. $hile the temperature or humidity reaches the preset standard value the management center sends stop regulating instruction to the corresponding node to close regulation module thus achieving the purpose of automatic detection.

TECHNOLOGY: ZIGBEE:
Zigbee is ne" "ireless technology guided by '222 30..-+./ 4ersonal Area %et"ork standard. 't is primarily designed for the "ide range controlling applications and to replace the e)isting non-standard

technologies. 't currently operates in 3*3 156 band at a data rate of .07bps in 2urope 8-/156 band at /0kbps in 9SA and the ../:56 'S1 bands $orld"ide at a ma)imum data-rate of .+0kbps. 't is used to verify "hether users truncation is possible or not. ;ne of the main advantages of this Z':!22 communication is that it provides a noise free communication the amount of noise added in this type of communication is very less compared to the other "ireless communications.
