PROGRAM FORMAT
Designed for full-time students but also available to students who wish to take fewer credits per semester Students are admitted each August and may complete the program in 9 or 15 months 30-credit degree consists of 24 credits of core courses and 6 credits of electives Convenient location College Park, Md.
ELECTIVES 6 credits
Students may select elective courses based on interests and career goals. Electives are designed to build strength in one of the three core areas, or build knowledge in a functional domain, such as: Healthcare IS Operations Management Marketing Students on a technical career track might take advanced programming as an elective. A stronger foundation for a career in Analytics may be obtained through courses such as: Computer Simulation for Business Applications Decision Analytics Students interested in IT Management might take courses such as: Global Sourcing and Innovation Strategy Entrepreneurship and New Ventures Students may also customize the program by working with individual faculty through Independent Study projects.
