Successful Single Visit Endodontics on both Vital and Non-Vital Teeth: Increase Success While Increasing Profits
Course Description
A recent survey showed that only 1 in 6 dentists treat non-vital cases in one appointment. However, numerous recent studies show that single visit treatment can be as successful, if not more so, than multiple visits. The advantages of one appointment endodontics are many for both the patient and the doctor. This hands-on course is designed for both general dentists and endodontists who wish to provide successful single visit endodontic treatment for their patients, on both vital and non-vital cases. Nickel-titanium rotary instrumentation techniques utilizing Sybrons Twisted Files in a NEW T-F Adaptive motion will be discussed along with all of its advantages. The management of curved and calcified canals will be outlined. Apical negative pressure irrigation will also be addressed, which is a key part of successful single visit treatment. This exciting multi-media program covers solutions and suggestions on how to treat straightforward and complex endodontic cases as a well as a hands-on workshop designed to enhance the clinicians practical skills.

He graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Biology. He received his D.D.S. from NYU College of Dentistry, and did his residency training in Endodontics at NYU as well. He is currently National Board Eligible. He is a member of the American Association of Endodotists, the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and he is the Past President of the Rockland County Dental Society.

Attendees are required to bring the following: 2 to 3 multi-rooted teeth not mounted with straight line access cavities prepared. (Teeth must be patent to a #10 or #15 hand file) Gloves Mask Loupes All other supplies will be provided.
