Ideal City Video Competition Background and Objective The competition aims to provoke youngsters into thinking their criteria of ideal city based on their own citys / countrys social problems, meanwhile encourage youngsters making use of multimedia to voice out their opinion and advocate the utilization of synergy between innovation and technology to alleviate social problems Winners/Prizes Champion: Sony 7 Lens Kit with SEL2870 1st Runner-up: Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet 2nd Runner-up: Cyber-shot Lens-style Camera DSC-QX10 Winning videos will be showcased during Youth to Sustainability Summit 2014 hosted by AIESEC Hong Kong on June 5-8, 2014. The winners will be invited to participate in the Summit. Eligibility Any individuals of 16 25 years old with strong passion in the future development of their respective cities / countries are welcomed. Parents or guardian's consent is required for individuals under the age of 18 to enter the competition. The sample of consent form is available in our Facebook page and should be submitted with the registration form together. Both individual and team entry is acceptable. Each team should comprise 2 4 members. International participants are welcomed. Each individual may join one team only. Only one video should be submitted per team. Rules and Regulations The competition is divided into three stages: Stage 1 Registration 21 April to Individuals can register as teams in our 11 May 2014 Facebook page along with their video Stage 2 Facebook like Period 21 April to 14 May 2014 Entrant team can start gathering like for their video Earlier registered team can start collecting like earlier More like gathered will receive a higher score in the popularity

The performance of each participating group will be assessed by threefold: content, creativity and popularity.

Videos must be minimum 30 seconds and maximum 1 minute in length and in a *high-resolution format.

Participants should answer the following questions within their video: 1) What is your ideal city? and; 2) Why?

Creative ways for expressing the ideas are highly recommended. Formats such as mini-movie, advertisement, news report and any other creative forms are accepted in this competition.

The submitted video must be an original creation and must not infringe on any third party rights. No copyrighted music, video, or images may be used in submissions to this contest without appropriate permission. Entrants are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions. Videos must not contain violence, profanity, sex, images of a prurient nature, or defamation on individuals or organizations. AIESEC in Hong Kong will disqualify any entries it deems to contain offensive material. Winners must provide a copy of the original video file to AIESEC Hong Kong through email. By submitting a video to this contest, you have granted to AIESEC Hong Kong a perpetual royalty-free license to copy, distribute, modify, display and perform publicly and otherwise use, and authorize others to use, your video for any non-profit purpose in any media and throughout the world. AIESEC Hong Kong reserves the right to make any entrant video in this competition available to the general public from its respective social media page, and to distribute to

groups and any other organizations which are interested in showing it for non-profit purposes, including but not limited to, on websites, conferences and events, on television, and other media outlets. AIESEC Hong Kong reserves the right to not select a winner if none of the entries received are judged to be high quality based on the competition requirements. How to Enter the Contest Review all contest rules and eligibility requirements. Create an original video of 30 seconds to 1 minute in high-resolution format. The resolution of the video should be 480p or above in the format of *.avi, *.mov, *.mpeg, *.mp4 and *.wmv, and able to play in video-sharing platform (Youtube etc.) All videos must be submitted through Facebook Tab (Link) starting from 21:00 GMT +8 on April 20, 2014, till 23:59 GMT+8 on May 11, 2014 in accordance with the server time of the host. Late Submissions will not be accepted. Questions can be posted on or sent to our inbox through this Facebook page. Judging Criteria All eligible videos will be scored by a panel of representatives on the following criteria: 40% Content 30% Creativity 30% Popularity (More number of like from the Facebook Page will receive higher score in this section) Winners will be selected based on an overall score. All judging is in the sole discretion of AIESEC Hong Kong. All decisions are final. Winners will be notified via e-mail and announced on May 26, 2014. Privacy Policy Any personal information collected from video submitters to My Ideal City Video Competition will not be sold. The personal information collected will only be used for purposes of this competition to contact video submitters in direct relation to the competition. The names of the winner teams will be announced publicly after consultation with the winners.
