The criteria of an ideal teacher Assalamualaikum, salam sejahtera and Salam 1 Malaysia. An idiom said Chew the Fat, it

means someone who is talking about nothing or unimportant things but just boring. As a teacher do we just chew the fat? Ladies and gentlemen I am talking to you about the criteria of an ideal teacher .Who is ideal teacher? Are we an ideal teacher? So let begin our talk straight to the topic. The teacher is the representative of the content and the school. How a teacher presents himself makes an impression on administrators, colleagues, parents, and students. There are a few criteria of an ideal teacher that we have to know. Firstly, we as a teacher are the one who can be a motivator to our pupils. As a teacher, we know that the pupils come from different back ground, have different personalities and different interest with the awareness that different pupils require different kinds of motivation, as they would definitely face different kind of problems. The good teacher prefers to give positives motivation to the pupils. Our comments are always constructive in nature. The teacher act as a guide to the pupils, while not pushing them too much and give them perfect motivation and boots their morale. Now days, the pupils trust their teacher more than their parents. Therefore, it is the responsibility of an ideal teacher to guide the pupils like their own. In fact, we as a teacher always there by their students side at the time of need. Other criteria I, we as a teacher love our career and love teaching. An awesome teacher love to teach. We teach not for money, prestige or glory. We teach because teaching bring us an incredible feeling of satisfaction knowing that they are contributing positively to the future of

others. The good teacher is the teacher that is committed. We have to go above and beyond the time, and are willing to help students whenever they need it. Good teacher are very committed to the curriculum that we teach. We as a teacher hope that our students always continuing to learn and become better person than us. Ideal teachers have a sense of how each student is doing in the class. Professionalism is also one of the criteria of an ideal teacher. Professionalism is the sign of a great teacher. Teachers have been portrayed in a variety of ways in media, ranging from detrimental images to beloved masters of their craft who inspire students to excel. An ideal teacher can be seen, heard and sensed. The ideal teacher engages in dialogues with students, colleagues, parents, and administrators and consistently demonstrates respect, accessibility and instruction given in the classroom. Finally, criteria of an ideal teacher are friendliness and being useful. Whether it sounds cheesy, this kind of teachers is easier to approach with questions, and easier to communicate with. As a good teacher we strive to get to know our students by finding similar interests, exchanging anecdotes or by simply breaking out the small talk. As a friendly teacher we will always be more impacting than unfriendly one. As a good teacher we will also do our best not to be cranky. In most cases if the teacher in a good mood, it gives them the impression that they have a good teacher. Its all really systematic. We as a good teacher obviously clear define what is to be assessed not just solely up to the students to be ready. As a conclusion, a teaching job is equally challenging and rewarding as that of any other profession. Qualities of an ideal teacher mentioned above, are the key to excel in teaching profession. We should love our job as to move ahead in life. Teaching is no exception. These qualities of an ideal teacher would help us to become an efficient guru... That all thank you.
