The short focuses around the relationship between two brothers, how love between kinfolk stays strong even through the barriers of life and death. Short tempers and strenuous emotions relate a story of actions as the brothers bond through a series of adventures, making up for 4 years of lost time and regaining what they had almost lost. The countryside of Devon plays a peripheral character of the film, with beautiful visages of the West Country and a soundscape of local artists all contributing to create a film that is truly English. ANDREW DALEY (Writer/Director) His first film was banned when he was just 16, featuring the graphic slaughter of schoolteachers and proselytizing ruffian behavior in minors. N FOR NINJA (2009) was the collaborative effort between a group of friends, a figurative sequel to the successful indie film SCHOOL BREAK (2008) which was lauded in the local educative community, however small fame was not to last as N FOR NINJA was banned in the local county after a first screening, deemed too violent and abhorrent for a representation of the government education system. In the years following; Andrew has worked on his craft and focused more on corporate and documentary working, shooting the desolate theme park retrospective SPREEPARK PLNTERWALD (2013) and working as press at a variety of film festivals; learning more about the film industry then eventually funding and shooting his first professional short THE BROTHER CODE (2014).

Promo materials I'm planning on creating (though I'm not necessarily using all of them): a tv bible, one page treatment/log line, screenplay of the first season (or just the pilot), a photo shoot with the main characters (in costume), concept art, "viral videos" similar to the ones in the Prometheus press kit, eventually a pilot, and a trailer/teaser made from the pilot footage. Possibly also a soundtrack segment, but that seems excessive for promotional materials. A press kit can consist of different type of materials, all meant to help promote you and your film. The press kits I have made include: A ) A Synopsis of the film ( I usually have 2 a short and a medium length one. B ) A Trailer ( if you have one ) of your film C ) A One Sheet ( movie poster ) D ) Production Stills E ) Directors Bio F ) A directors statement ( why did you make your movie) and also you'll want to include the one-line synopsis. This is what they would use if they put your film in the program. It's just like an old "TV Guide" synop s is that gives you the ~10 words of what the film is about. Depending on how "big" the other people working on your film are, they may also want a producer bio, DP bio, and maybe even actor bio (although you said this was a doc so probably not applicable to you). If they've done other work that has been recognized, that could be helpful to your marketing campaign. Yes, it's "only a short film" but they need marketing materials to help sell their festival using your film. They're not going to do all that work themselves, so they need you to submit it. Short synopsis, medium synopsis, one sheet, production stills (just a few, probably your best 4-5 tops), the bios, and perhaps the director's statement
