Reflection Introduction
When examining information, it can be very annoying when you are trying to examine purely-written genre. The reason why is because you are limited to the amount of information that the author provided and you cannot make your own point of view from the information. This makes the use of graphics very useful with examining information forms because they provide a lot more details of different topics. For example, a picture of a bathroom in a Sochi hotel provides us with a point of view of what bathroom looked like. Also the picture can provides us details that other people might have missed because a lot of the time people see different details when looking at visuals. So from the visual one persons point of view can be very different from other persons point of view. In the way that people live now days is why power is worth being examined and having attention to it. There seem to be many growing trends of people using different types of power, but it is not just limited to people. There are many types of power. Some examples are powerful weather systems, powerful leaders, powerful governments, and bosses. The graphics which were most personally involving to me were Internet Titans Fight SOPA and Bad Bosses. The reason why is because of my interest in technology. There always seem to be something trying to censor or limit technology. There also powerful leaders who love to push other people around or control them in the workplace or government. I feel that these graphics were also most personally involving to me because they both show the power that currency has over people. The Internet Titans Fight SOPA graphic shows the combined powers that huge media producers and United States Government had when they were trying to censor content on the Internet. There are many media producers that are lobbying government officials to pass a bill to protect them. The big problem is that combined powers of the two groups allowed them to have control over many other businesses.

Reflection Introduction- Continues

The Bad Bosses graphic shows the growing trend of people using power to push other people around in workplaces. One of places that this is happening in is the gaming and entertainment industry, which is filled with huge corporations. The reason why I feel that this trend is growing is because of the current state of the economy which is cause fear in everyone. The fear of how society will treat them if they are layoff or fired, then thrown to side by society. In the last few years, there have been many corporations in gaming and entertainment industry overworking employees, so they can release their products in a short time-frame. Everyone knows that no one is going to do anything about it because many of the people that have the ability to stop this or fix this ignore that it is happening. The reason why is because all they care about is the power they have now and the money they will get from workplaces which they allowed them to abuse their power. I wish that someday people stop ignoring problems and actually try to fix them and stop caring about their power or money. From my image collection, I genre morphed three images. The three images were Eye of Tornado, Internet Titans Fight SOPA and Hurricane Floyd. I used the website called Wordle to do the genre morphing. Wordle is generated cloud of words and the words that appear more frequently in the source text are given greater prominence. I feel that the words that appear most frequently in the source text that I provided describes the original images very well. From my image collection, rhetorical analyses and genre morphs I feel the processes I used in this project describes many of different types of power and where they are found in our world.
