SUPERVISION

IN ORGANISATIONS
Work -
teams, or organisations goals. We see supervision as a form of counselling on professional relationships.
The aim of the Professional Development Programme Supervision in Organisations is to acquire
the knowledge, skills and attitudes for individual, group and team supervision and management of the
change process in organizations.
Eligibility. You may participate in the program if you hold a Masters degree or are a graduate of a
professional higher education program (4 year studies), and have at least 4 years of work experience in
Programmes outcomes. Graduates of the course will have:

MA in Clinical Psychology, existential psychotherapist (European Certifcate for Psychotherapy), certifed
supervisor. Private practice in psychotherapy and supervision. Supervisor and trainer at Humanistic and
Existential Psychology Institute, Lithuania.

There are two leading trainers and several guest trainers in the programme.

The total number of practice contact hours is 100 hours.
TRAINERS:
PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION
Each module equals 54 academic hours and takes place from Thursday until the following Tuesday, i.e.
6 training days. The total number of contact hours is 594 academic hours.
Supervision of own work experience - 6 hours (will not be required if the student can
demonstrate that he or she has attended individual or group supervision),
Teaching supervision (individual supervision on supervision) - 35 hours,
Learning supervision - 45 hours, which includes at least 10 sessions of individual supervision,
at least 6 sessions of group supervision, and one organisational supervisionprocess.
There are 11 modules, each devoted to a specifc topic:
1. Introduction to Supervision and the Basics of Counselling (16-21 Okt, 2014)
2. Methods and Techniques in Counselling (8-13 Jan, 2015)
3. The Supervisors Identity
4. The Process of Supervision
5. Methods of Supervision
6. Psychodynamics in Supervision
7. The Dynamics of Groups and Organisations
8. Organisational Supervision
9. Intercultural Issues in Supervision
10. The Evaluation of Supervision
11. The Final Colloquium (Examination)
The training programme corresponds to ANSE (Association of National Supervision Organisations in
Europe; www.anse.eu) standards, and those of the Latvian Professional Standard Supervisor.
The study process is based on the following principles, which are given here as keywords: experiential
learning, refective learning, process orientation, personality development, democracy and emancipa-
tion.
Practice consists of:
1. Counselling practice: 6 sessions of individual counselling (30 hours counselling sessions
and written analysis of audio records of the sessions)
2. Supervisory practice:
registered senior supervisor and teacher of supervision skills LVSC, (National Association for Supervi -
sion and Coaching in the Netherlands), Supervisor NVGP (Dutch Association for Group Dynamics and
Group Psychotherapy), Supervisor ABvC (General Association for Counselling), teacher of supervision
skills, from 2003 associated with ZAK (Zentrum fr Agogik) Basel, Switzerland
Gerian Dijkhuizen
coach and supervisor, business trainer, owner of Amber Training International, training in supervision
at Tallinn University in cooperation with the Institute for Supervision and Organisation Communica-
tion Der Rote Faden, member of the Latvian Association of Supervisors.
teaching supervisor and trainer for the AGG education for supervisors, coaches and consultants.
Until march 2013 head of the section and head of education for supervision in the AGG (The Associ-
ation of group psychotherapy and group dynamics in Austria - co - founder of VS). Coach, Supervi-
sor (VS - Austrian Association for Supervision) and consultant for organizations at Elisabeth
Alder-Wrrer Coaching and Supervision in Vienna and at INC Training & Consulting, s.r.o. Bratislava.
Before that until 2008 internal consultant in Generali, head of change and knowledge projects,
trainer, facilitator, change consultant and coach.

The price of one module is 420,00 EUR, which has to be paid
one week before the relevant module takes place. The costs
