When did ProLife Across America begin?

We started as a Minneapolis-based organization in 1989, but we

went nationwide as the demand was there. We had to change our
name to ProLife Across America.

We are non-political totally educational organization. We have

billboards in 41 states annually. It depends on the area or the
donor. I take no salary.

How do you purchase billboards?

We receive donations which we use to purchase billboards.

Are your billboards effective?

It’s amazing what the billboards can do. We’ve had people change their minds on
their way to go to get an abortion. One woman pulled over to the side of the road
and cried. She was on her way to a clinic to get an abortion and saw our billboard
“Did you know I have fingerprints at nine weeks?”

How many states are your billboards in?

Our billboards have appeared in 44 states and three small areas of Ontario, Canada
as well.

How abortions happen in America?

Sadly, many do not know the Truth and thus, over one million mothers each year are
pressured and coerced to “choose” abortion as a “solution” to an untimely
pregnancy. That’s 4,400 babies a day who are killed by surgical abortion. Millions
more die from the “Morning After” Pill and other so-called contraceptive (abortion)
methods. Dear Friends, we may not be able to change the law – but we can work to
change hearts and promote the Truth. We are all working toward a Prolife Across
America’s life-saving outreach through our Billboard media is vital and life-saving.
Abortion providers in the United States – promotes despair and death. Abortion is
their business, a big business, with millions of dollars added to their coffers each
year. We promote the Truth and alternatives and assistance to those in need. So
often, our Billboards and ads may be the only visible sign of hope and help to those
in need.

Remember, PROLIFE Across AMERICA’s Billboards do more than advertise. Our ads
create an “atmosphere of life”- giving honor to motherhood, family life, and the children
God so generously bestows on us.

This Billboard outreach is costly, but has proven to be life-saving. Billboards range in
price from $600 - $3500 per month.

Here’s what your dollars can do:

• $ 600 – a Billboard for one month in rural area.

• $1,000 – a Billboard for one month in a bigger city or near a college campus.

• $1,800 – $3500 – on a major interstate or heavy traffic area.

Mrs. Kuharski recounted instances such as the call she received from a trucker who had
seen one of the signs.

“My girlfriend just told me she was pregnant,” the trucker said. “We’re not ready to
have children, so I told her, ‘Get rid of it.’”

Responding to the message on the billboard, he then asked, “Is it true that the baby’s
heartbeat starts at 24 days?”

“I said ‘Yes,’” recalled Mary Ann. “There was a long pause. Then he said, ‘Well, I
guess we can’t do it.’”
