Introduccin
Gracias por adquirir un producto SilverCrest.
El mando a distancia universal SilverCrest SFB 10.1 C3, ms adelante
denominado mando a distancia, es un dispositivo de altas prestaciones
que ofrece una amplia gama de funciones. Es fcil de manejar y su
diseo es moderno y atractivo. El mando a distancia es capaz de
aprender seales externas y, por lo tanto, funciona con la mayora de
televisores, descodificadores y reproductores de videocasetes y de
discos. Le permite controlar las funciones de hasta 10 dispositivos
electrnicos diferentes de manera cmoda y flexible.
Uso destinado
El mando a distancia es un dispositivo electrnico del grupo de la
electrnica de consumo. Solo est destinado al uso privado y no es para
uso industrial ni comercial. Adems, el mando a distancia no debe ser
empleado al exterior ni en climas tropicales. Este mando a distancia
cumple todo lo relacionado en cuanto a la conformidad CE incluyendo
la normativa y los estndares pertinentes. El fabricante no ser
responsable de cualquier dao o problemas resultantes de
modificaciones no autorizadas. Emplee solo complementos y accesorios
recomendados por el fabricante. Debe respetar y cumplir la legislacin y
las directivas del pas donde emplea el producto.

Instrucciones de seguridad
Antes de utilizar el mando a distancia por primera vez, lase y siga las
instrucciones y advertencias aunque est familiarizado con el manejo de
dispositivos elctricos. Conserve este manual en un lugar seguro para
cualquier referencia futura. Si vende o traspasa el mando a distancia,
acompelo siempre del presente manual.

seguridad del usuario.

Este mando a distancia puede ser empleado por nios
mayores de 8 aos as como por personas con
capacidades fsicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas o
personas que no tengan conocimiento ni experiencia en
ello, siempre que dichas personas estn bajo supervisin o
hayan recibido instrucciones en cuanto al uso correcto del
mando a distancia y comprendan los riesgos asociados.
No deje que los nios jueguen con el mando a distancia.
Toda tarea de limpieza o mantenimiento del producto no
debe ser efectuada por nios, a no ser que estn bajo
supervisin. Mantenga el material de embalaje fuera del
alcance de los nios. Existe el riesgo de asfixia.

Si observa humo, ruidos u olores extraos, retire las pilas
inmediatamente. En estos casos, deje de utilizar el mando
a distancia y djelo comprobar por un tcnico autorizado.
No inhale humo procedente de un posible incendio del
dispositivo. Si accidentalmente inhala humo, acuda
inmediatamente a un mdico. La inhalacin de humo
puede ser nociva para la salud.

Evite daar el mando a distancia y los accesorios con el fin
de evitar peligros derivados.

No coloque fuentes incandescentes (p. ej. velas
encendidas) encima o al lado del mando a distancia.

No exponga el mando a distancia a fuentes de calor
directas (p.ej. radiadores), a la luz solar ni a la luz artificial
intensa. El mando a distancia no debe ser expuesto a
aguas estancadas, aerosoles ni lquidos abrasivos. No
utilice el mando a distancia cerca del agua. No lo sumerja
(no coloque recipientes con lquidos, p. ej. bebidas,
jarrones, etc. encima o cerca del mando a distancia). No
exponga el mando a distancia a cambios de temperatura
bruscos dado que ello puede provocar condensacin y
cortocircuitos. Si el dispositivo hubiera sido expuesto a
cambios de temperatura bruscos de todos modos, espere
(unas 2 horas) antes de encenderlo para que tome la
temperatura ambiente. No exponga el mando a distancia

a golpes ni vibraciones. No introduzca objetos en el
mando a distancia. De lo contrario podra daarse.

El mando a distancia cuenta con un diodo emisor de luz
infrarroja o LED lser de clase 1. No mire al LED de
infrarrojos con dispositivos pticos. De lo contrario corre el
riesgo de daar su vista.
Pilas

Inserte las pilas respetando la polaridad La polaridad
viene indicada con un diagrama en las pilas y en el interior
del compartimento. No intente recargar las pilas
convencionales (no recargables), no las cortocircuite y no
las arroje al fuego. No instale diferentes tipos de pilas
(cargadas y descargadas, de carbono y alcalinas, etc.) a
la vez. No mezcle pilas recargables y convencionales (no
recargables). No intente abrir ni deformar las pilas. De lo
contrario existe el peligro de prdida de sustancias
qumicas. Si las sustancias qumicas entran en contacto con
su piel o los ojos, lave la zona afectada con abundante
agua fresca y acuda inmediatamente a un mdico. Retire
las pilas cuando no vaya a utilizar el mando a distancia
durante un tiempo prolongado. De esta forma impedir
daos por prdida de electrolito. Un manejo inapropiado
puede causar explosin o prdida de electrolito.

Nios y personas discapacitadas
Los dispositivos elctricos no son aptos para los nios. Las personas
discapacitadas solo deberan usar equipos elctricos dentro de los
lmites de sus capacidades. No permita que los nios o las personas
discapacitadas utilicen equipos elctricos sin supervisin a no ser que
reciban instrucciones y supervisin por parte de una persona
experimentada y responsable de su seguridad. Es importante
supervisar siempre a los nios para que no jueguen con el producto.
Toda tarea de limpieza o mantenimiento del producto no debe ser
efectuada por nios, a no ser que estn bajo supervisin. Peligro de
asfixia con las bateras y las piezas pequeas. Mantenga tambin el
embalaje fuera del alcance de los nios y de las personas
discapacitadas.

Mantenimiento / limpieza
Una reparacin ser necesaria cuando el mando a distancia o su
carcasa se hayan daado de cualquier forma, cuando hayan entrado
lquidos u objetos en el mando a distancia o si el producto ha sido
expuesto a la lluvia o humedad. Tambin ser necesaria una reparacin
si el dispositivo no funciona normalmente o si se ha cado. Si observa
humo, ruidos u olores extraos, retire las pilas inmediatamente. En estos

casos, deje de utilizar el mando a distancia y djelo comprobar por un
tcnico autorizado. Toda reparacin o mantenimiento deben ser
efectuados por tcnicos autorizados. No abra nunca la carcasa del
mando a distancia. Limpie el mando a distancia nicamente con un pao
seco y suave. No emplee lquidos corrosivos. No intente abrir la carcasa
del mando a distancia. De lo contrario, perder la garanta.
Condiciones ambientales

Este equipo no ha sido diseado para entornos con altas
temperaturas o humedad (p. ej. cuartos de bao) y debe
mantenerse libre de polvo. Temperatura y humedad de
funcionamiento: 5C a 35C, 85 % de humedad relativa
mx.
Insertar las pilas

Los cdigos programados y el ajuste del idioma quedan
almacenados de forma duradera y no se pierden al
cambiar las pilas.
La fecha y la hora se pierden.
Abra la tapa del compartimento de las
pilas de la parte posterior del mando a
distancia deslizando la tapa del
compartimento en la direccin sealada.
Inserte las pilas respetando la polaridad,
como se indica en el diagrama. La
polaridad correcta viene indicada en las
pilas y en el interior del compartimento.
Cierre la tapa del compartimento de pilas.
Si los dispositivos ya no responden al
mando a distancia, sustituya las pilas por
pilas nuevas del mismo tipo. No
aparecer ninguna indicacin cuando las
pilas estn gastadas.

Antes de empezar
El suministro elctrico del mando a distancia se efecta con 2 pilas del
tipo Micro AAA, LR03, de 1,5 V que estn incluidas en el paquete.
Por defecto, las pilas ya estn
instaladas en el compartimento de
pilas. Tan solo tiene que retirar la
cinta de plstico insertada entre las
pilas y los contactos. Esto se puede
realizar como sigue:
1. Abra el compartimento de las pilas.
2. Retire la cinta de plstico.

Advertencia importante sobre la compatibilidad

Todas las funciones descritas en este manual solo son
vlidas si la disposicin de teclas del mando a distancia
original se corresponde exactamente con las de su mando
a distancia 10 en 1. Pero esto suele ser muy poco
probable. Por lo tanto, si no consigue controlar todas las
funciones de su mando a distancia original, no quiere decir
que su mando a distancia 10 en 1 tenga fallos.
Informacin sobre marcas y marcas comerciales
Todos los nombres de marcas y/o productos mencionados en este
manual y en la lista de cdigos de dispositivos son propiedad de sus
propietarios respectivos y solamente se emplean con fines descriptivos e
identificativos de los productos.
Primeros pasos
Tras de insertar las pilas, la pantalla se ilumina y despus de aprox. 1
segundo aparece la ventana de inicio. La ventana de inicio muestra el
dispositivo, cdigo, da de la semana y la hora. El ajuste predeterminado
es TV, Lunes y las 12.00AM. En la ventana de inicio puede cambiar el
dispositivo que desee controlar con los botones de control de dispositivos
(4). Al mismo tiempo se muestra el cdigo de dispositivo del dispositivo
seleccionado.
Pulse el botn brevemente para mostrar el dispositivo
seleccionado, el da de la semana y la fecha completa. Si no pulsa
ningn botn durante un cierto tiempo, la retroiluminacin del mando a
distancia se apaga. El retardo de apagado de la retroiluminacin se
puede ajustar en el men CONFIGURAR.

2. Mantenga pulsado este botn durante por lo menos
3 segundos para encender o apagar todos los
dispositivos programados.

Pulse este botn para acceder a los canales favoritos
programados.

Pulse este botn para abrir la funcin EPG del
dispositivo seleccionado (siempre que dicho dispositivo
la admita).

1. Mantenga pulsado este botn durante por lo menos
3 segundos para abrir el men CONFIGURAR.
2. Pulse este botn brevemente para pasar de la
indicacin de la hora a la de la fecha. Tras unos 30
segundos, la hora se mostrar nuevamente. Tambin
puede volver a pulsar el botn brevemente
para regresar a la indicacin de la hora.
3. Cuando est programando macros o temporizadores
de eventos, pulse este botn para confirmar el final
de la secuencia de comandos introducida.
4. Plselo con la funcin APRND.TECLA para
retroceder al nivel de men anterior.

Abre el men del dispositivo seleccionado.

1. Pulse este botn mientras se muestre el men del
dispositivo seleccionado para regresar al nivel de
men anterior o para salir del men. Excepcin: Pulse
el botn con la funcin APRND.TECLA
para retroceder al nivel de men anterior.
2. Pulse este botn mientras se muestre el men
CONFIGURAR del mando a distancia para
regresar al nivel de men anterior o para salir del
men.

Ejecuta una macro cuando se emplea junto con los
botones numricos 1 al 6.

Corta (silencio) o restablece el sonido.

Confirma una opcin del men CONFIGURAR del
mando a distancia o del men del dispositivo
seleccionado.

Subir/bajar el volumen

Seleccin de la fuente de seales audiovisuales del
dispositivo seleccionado

Utilice este botn para introducir nmeros de canales de
dos dgitos. Esta funcin depende del dispositivo
seleccionado. Para introducir un nmero de canal de
dos dgitos, pulse primero el botn y luego introduzca el
nmero de canal. Pulse el botn de nuevo para
poder introducir un nmero de canal de un dgito.

Enciende o apaga la iluminacin del mando a distancia.
Mens de configuracin
Mantenga pulsado el botn durante 3 segundos para abrir el
men. El men predeterminado es LANGUAGE (IDIOMA). Para
programar el mando a distancia segn sus necesidades, pulse los
botones para navegar hacia el submen deseado o pulse
para regresar a la ventana de inicio. Pulse el botn para
abrir el submen seleccionado.

Si con el men de configuracin abierto no pulsa ningn
botn durante 30 segundos, regresa a la ventana de
inicio. Reinicie la programacin, si fuera necesario.

Termine de realizar su seleccin y pulse el botn para confirmar y
terminar la programacin. En pantalla aparecer la indicacin XITO.
Los nuevos ajustes se guardan para el dispositivo seleccionado, a no ser
que durante la programacin haya seleccionado un dispositivo diferente.
El men CONFIGURAR ofrece opciones para los ajustes siguientes:

reproduccin; control de menores y bloqueo de mens; restablecer

A continuacin encontrar un resumen esquemtico de los mens:

Para abrir el men de configuracin es necesario
mantener pulsado el botn (durante
aprox. 3 seg.) hasta que la pantalla pase al
modo de configuracin.
Ajustar el idioma de los mens (IDIOMA)
La opcin IDIOMA del men principal sirve para seleccionar el idioma
deseado de su mando a distancia. Puede escoger uno de los idiomas
siguientes: ingls, alemn, italiano, espaol, francs. Siga estos pasos:
1. Mantenga pulsado el botn durante 3 segundos. Pulse
, seleccione IDIOMA y luego pulse .

Al salir de fbrica, la configuracin inicial del dispositivo es para el
idioma ingls. Por lo tanto, la primera opcin que aparece es
LANGUAGE.
2. Pulse , seleccione uno de los 5 idiomas ofrecidos y
luego pulse para confirmar. En pantalla aparecer la indicacin
XITO.
Pulse para regresar al nivel de men anterior. Para regresar a la
ventana de inicio, pulse uno de los botones de dispositivos (4).
Programar el mando a distancia (EST. CDIGO)
Esta opcin del men principal le permite programar el mando a
distancia segn sus necesidades. Puede escoger uno de los 3 mtodos
siguientes:
1. Bsqueda de cdigo por marca BSQ.MARCA. Si el fabricante
de su dispositivo se encuentra en la lista de cdigos de dispositivos
de su mando a distancia, ste es el mtodo de programacin ms
rpido.
2. Bsqueda de cdigo automtica BSQ.AUTOM.. Transmite todos
los cdigos disponibles en la lista de cdigos al dispositivo. Este
mtodo suele tardar bastante tiempo.
3. Introduccin directa del cdigo EST.CDIGO. Se requiere que
introduzca manualmente el cdigo que se encuentra en la lista de
cdigos de dispositivos.
Las instrucciones siguientes le ayudan a programar el mando a distancia
con cualquiera de los mtodos de programacin anteriores.

Antes de programar un botn de dispositivo con la
bsqueda de cdigo por marca o la bsqueda
automtica, es importante que efecte un RESET para
el botn de dispositivo en cuestin. Si este dispositivo ya
hubiera sido programado con la funcin de
aprendizaje, los botones aprendidos no se
sobrescribiran con la nueva programacin. Para ms
informacin, consulte el captulo Restablecer los
valores predeterminados (RESET) de la pgina 20.
Bsqueda de cdigo por marca (BSQ.MARCA)
1. Pulse el botn del dispositivo que desee programar.
2. Mantenga pulsado el botn durante 3 segundos.
3. Pulse , seleccione EST. CDIGO y pulse para
confirmar.
4. Pulse , seleccione BSQ.MARCA y pulse para
confirmar. Aparecer el primer nombre en orden alfabtico de los
dispositivos preprogramados.
5. Pulse para desplazarse hasta la marca que desee,
p.ej. SilverCrest.
6. Para acelerar la bsqueda de la marca puede introducir los
primeros o todos los caracteres del nombre de la marca a travs del
teclado numrico (11). Luego pulse para ir a la marca
seleccionada. Si solo introduce la primera letra del nombre de
marca (p.ej. S de SilverCrest), al pulsar el botn aparecer la
primera marca que comience con S. Entonces tendr que pulsar los

botones para desplazarse manualmente hasta la
marca SilverCrest.
Al igual que los dgitos, los botones del teclado tienen caracteres o
smbolos asignados que puede seleccionar pulsndolos una o ms
veces. Los caracteres o smbolos asignados estn impresos en los
botones numricos.
Despus de seleccionar un carcter y esperar unos instantes, dicho
carcter se aplica y podr introducir el carcter siguiente. Se pueden
escribir hasta 11 caracteres por nombre de marca. Si se equivoca, pulse
para eliminar el ltimo carcter introducido y escribirlo de nuevo.
7. Generalmente, los diferentes fabricantes utilizan cdigos distintos
para sus mandos a distancia. Ahora se trata de encontrar el cdigo
ptimo. El cdigo actual aparece debajo del nombre de marca
seleccionado. Puede pulsar los botones para escoger uno de
los cdigos preprogramados de la marca seleccionada.
8. A continuacin pruebe el cdigo: apunte con el mando a distancia
al dispositivo y verifique si responde correctamente al botn
pulsado. Para efectuar dicha prueba no es necesario que salga del
modo de configuracin.
Los botones siguientes no se pueden emplear para el test funcional:

4. Si el dispositivo responde al cdigo enviado encendindose o
apagndose o ejecutando una de las funciones anteriores, pulse
para detener la bsqueda. En ese punto se encuentra muy
prximo al cdigo correcto, pero es posible que an no haya
encontrado aquel que funcione perfectamente, dado que la
bsqueda automtica puede haber parado con un pequeo retraso
y se pueden haber enviado ms cdigos.
Durante la bsqueda automtica, el mando a distancia solamente
responde a los botones y .
5. Despus de pulsar el botn para detener la bsqueda
puede pulsar los botones para enviar manualmente el
cdigo anterior o siguiente. Si su dispositivo vuelve a reaccionar
frente al cdigo, ha encontrado el cdigo correcto. Pulse para
salir de la bsqueda automtica. Los cdigos se guardan y en
pantalla aparece la indicacin XITO.
6. O pulse para salir de la bsqueda automtica. Con esta
operacin, los cdigos no se guardan.
7. Cuando el mando a distancia haya terminado de enviar el ltimo
cdigo disponible de la lista de cdigos, la bsqueda se detiene y
tras unos instantes aparece la ventana de inicio.
Introduccin directa del cdigo (EST.CDIGO)

confirmar. El dispositivo seleccionado parpadea y aparece el

4. El primer dgito del cdigo de dispositivo de 4 dgitos parpadea.
5. Introduzca el cdigo de 4 dgitos del dispositivo seleccionado a
travs de los botones numricos. El cdigo de 4 dgitos se encuentra
en la lista de cdigos de dispositivos suministrada.
6. Pulse para confirmar la entrada. En pantalla aparecer la
indicacin XITO seguida de EST.CDIGO.
7. Si el cdigo introducido no es vlido, no se puede programar dado
que no est en la lista. Si introduce un cdigo no vlido, en pantalla
aparece la indicacin NO VLIDO y despus podr introducir el
cdigo correcto.

Modo flexible
En funcin de los botones de dispositivos hay unas listas de cdigos
preprogramadas para los grupos de dispositivos en cuestin.
Normalmente, Vd. asignar los tipos de dispositivos correspondientes a
los botones de dispositivos. Por ejemplo, querr asignar la programacin
de una grabadora de videocasetes al botn de dispositivo , la de
un reproductor de DVD al botn de dispositivo etc. Adems, el
modo flexible le permite asignar un dispositivo de cualquier grupo de
dispositivos a los botones y . El requisito para ello es que
asigne la lista de cdigos del grupo de dispositivos deseado (al que el
dispositivo en cuestin pertenece) al botn o que desee
emplear para controlar este dispositivo.
Las listas de cdigos (p.ej. 0 para TV o 2 para DVD) de cada grupo de
dispositivos son las siguientes:

anterior, seleccione el nmero 0001 como cdigo y seleccione el
nmero de la lista de cdigos (0 a 7) deseada. Con ello se asigna la
lista de cdigos al botn de dispositivo o para que
pueda continuar programndolo.
A partir de este momento, la programacin de los botones de dispositivo
y funciona exactamente como descrito en los captulos
Bsqueda de cdigo automtica (BSQ.AUTOM.) y Bsqueda de
cdigo por marca (BSQ.MARCA).

Ajustar la duracin de la luz del teclado (DURACIN)

4. Pulse para establecer la duracin de la luz del mando
a distancia en incrementos de 5 entre 0 y 60 segundos. Si
selecciona 0 segundos, la luz permanece apagada al pulsar
cualquier botn. Si tiene el valor ajustado a 0 segundos, puede
encender la luz manualmente pulsando el botn . En este
caso quedar iluminada durante 5 segundos.
DURACIN.

Tenga en cuenta que a mayor duracin de luz, ms corta
ser la duracin de las pilas.
Ajuste global de volumen (VOL DISP SL)
El ajuste global de volumen/silencio le permite asignar el ajuste de
volumen de dispositivos que no tienen esta funcin de por s (p.ej. un
reproductor de DVD) a un dispositivo diferente (p.ej. un televisor). La
ventaja es que no es necesario pulsar primero un botn de dispositivo
(en el ejemplo anterior, el botn de dispositivo TV) y luego otro botn de
dispositivo para regresar al dispositivo de reproduccin (el reproductor
de DVD, caso del ejemplo anterior).
Ajustar el volumen global (VOLUM.IND.)
Activar:
1. Mantenga pulsado el botn durante 3 segundos como

Para poder utilizar esta funcin, al botn de dispositivo correspondiente
se tiene que asignar un cdigo vlido para el dispositivo en cuestin.

Con esta funcin puede bloquear uno o ms botones de dispositivo para
que el dispositivo asociado no se pueda controlar ms. Los botones
y seguirn funcionando sin restricciones. Todos los
dispositivos asociados con botones de dispositivos no bloqueados
pueden seguir controlndose con normalidad.

Programar con la funcin de aprendizaje (APRND.TECLA)
Con esta funcin, el mando a distancia puede aprender el cdigo de
botones individuales de un dispositivo seleccionado.
1. Pulse el botn de dispositivo del dispositivo que desee programar.
3. Pulse , seleccione APRENDER y pulse para
confirmar.
4. Pulse , seleccione APRND.TECLA y pulse para
confirmar.
5. En la pantalla aparecer SEL.TECLA.
Todos los botones admiten la funcin de aprendizaje excepto los
botones de dispositivos.
6. Pulse el botn al que desee ensear un comando. En pantalla
aparecer la indicacin ESPERANDO.
7. Coloque el mando a distancia original frente al mando a distancia
10 en 1 de manera que el LED de infrarrojos del primero y el LED de
infrarrojos del segundo (2) no estn separados ms de 5 cm.
8. A continuacin, pulse el botn del mando a distancia original cuya
seal desee copiar. La deteccin correcta del cdigo del botn
viene indicada en pantalla con el mensaje XITO.
9. Repita los pasos 5 y 8 para todos los botones que desee que
aprendan una funcin.
10. Si la transmisin del cdigo original falla o si en los prximos 30
segundos no se transmite ningn cdigo, la pantalla indicar
FALLO. En este caso, repita los pasos 5 a 8.
Para salir del modo de aprendizaje, mantenga pulsado el botn
si la pantalla indica SEL. TECLA. Pulse cualquiera de los botones de
dispositivos para regresar a la ventana de inicio.

Si le surgen problemas con la funcin de aprendizaje, es
posible que las pilas del mando a distancia original estn
gastadas. Sustityalas, si fuera necesario.

Borrar cdigos de un botn individual (ELIM.TECLA)
Con esta funcin puede borrar el cdigo aprendido de un botn
individual de un dispositivo seleccionado.

La funcin de macro (MACRO)
Con la funcin de macro puede guardar secuencias de hasta 16
comandos de dispositivo que se ejecutan todos con solo pulsar un botn.
Ejemplo: Encender TV seleccionar canal 11 > mostrar Teletexto > abrir
pgina de Teletexto 222.
Programar una macro
2. Pulse , seleccione MACRO y pulse para
confirmar.
3. Pulse , seleccione MACRO1 (o MACRO2...
MACRO6 y pulse para confirmar.
4. En la pantalla aparecer CONFIGURAR. Pulse para
confirmar.
5. Si selecciona una macro que ya tenga una secuencia de comandos
asignada, la pantalla indicar MACRO OCUP.. En este caso tiene
que borrar esta macro antes de introducir comandos o seleccionar
una macro diferente que est libre.
6. A continuacin se muestra el dispositivo actualmente seleccionado.
7. Introduzca la secuencia de comandos deseada. Comience siempre
por el botn de dispositivo del dispositivo para el que desee grabar
la macro. De lo contrario aparecer el mensaje ERROR TECLA.
8. Por defecto, los comandos de la macro se envan secuencialmente
cada segundo. Dado que esto puede ser demasiado rpido para
algunos dispositivos, puede ajustar el tiempo de espera en
incrementos de 2 segundos entre 5 y 21 segundos.

Ejecutar una macro

ninguna macro asociada, la luz del mando a distancia parpadea 4

memoria de canal siguiente en pantalla. Pulse para
seleccionar una memoria de favorito diferente.
8. Si selecciona una memoria de canal que ya est asignada, los datos
introducidos sobrescribirn al canal existente.
Cambiar a un canal favorito
Pulse el botn una o ms veces para pasar secuencialmente
entre los canales favoritos. Al llegar al ltimo canal favorito guardado, la
seleccin inicia nuevamente desde el principio.

El mando a distancia incluye 4 temporizadores de eventos con los que el
mando puede enviar una secuencia de comandos predefinida a una
hora determinada.

formato de 24 horas. Si ha configurado las preferencias
del mando a distancia para un formato de reloj de 12 h,
tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:

24 horas automticamente en el de 12. Ejemplo: Para
programar un temporizador para las 03:30PM, introduzca
15:30.

Es necesario que pulse un botn de dispositivo antes de introducir la
secuencia de comandos. De lo contrario, aparece el mensaje ERROR
TECLA.
6. Por defecto, los comandos del temporizador se envan
secuencialmente cada segundo. Dado que esto puede ser
demasiado rpido para algunos dispositivos, puede ajustar el
tiempo de espera en incrementos de 2 segundos entre 5 y 21
segundos. Para ello, pulse el botn ms veces, si fuera
necesario. La pantalla indica el tiempo de espera actual.
7. Cuando haya terminado, pulse para confirmar la entrada.
En pantalla aparecer la indicacin XITO.
8. En un temporizador puede ejecutar 15 comandos como mximo,
incluyendo el del botn de dispositivo. A continuacin, el
temporizador se aplica automticamente y en pantalla aparece la
indicacin XITO.
9. Si fuera necesario, puede programar ms temporizadores de
eventos.
10. Cuando tenga el temporizador de eventos programado, a la
izquierda de la pantalla aparece el icono .
Cuando un temporizador de eventos haya sido ejecutado, quedar
eliminado automticamente.
Eliminar un temporizador
Para borrar un temporizador programado (TEMP.REPOSO,
TEMPORIZ1 a TEMPORIZ4):

confirmar. En pantalla aparecer la indicacin BORRAR. Pulse

Funcin de encendido/apagado de todos los dispositivos
Si ha programado su mando a distancia para controlar varios
dispositivos, esta funcin le permite encender o apagarlos todos a la vez
pulsando un solo botn. Para ello, mantenga pulsado el botn
(3) durante unos segundos. Todos los dispositivos se encienden o se
apagan al mismo tiempo. Segn el nmero de dispositivos programados,
este proceso puede tardar hasta 10 segundos. Para que esta funcin sea
operativa, se requiere:
Una va de propagacin libre de obstculos entre el mando a
distancia y cada uno de los dispositivos que desee
encender/apagar.
Todos los dispositivos deben poderse encender y apagar a travs
de un mando a distancia.
Las funciones de bsqueda automtica de cdigo, bsqueda de
cdigo de marca y de macro han de estar deshabilitadas.
Resolucin de problemas
Un dispositivo no responde a los comandos del mando a
distancia
Asegrese de que ha seleccionado el dispositivo correcto con el
mando a distancia.
Apunte con el mando directamente al dispositivo.
Verifique si el mando a distancia est programado con el cdigo
correcto para el dispositivo en cuestin.
Es posible que el dispositivo no sea compatible con la
programacin a travs de la lista de cdigos. En este caso,
programe el mando a distancia con la funcin de aprendizaje.
Las pilas estn descargadas o vacas. Sustituya las pilas por pilas
nuevas del mismo tipo. Consulte el captulo Insertar las pilas.
Algunos botones no responden debidamente
Es posible que no se admitan todas las funciones del mando a
distancia original.
El cdigo introducido no admite todas las funciones de su
dispositivo. Intente buscar un cdigo ms apropiado para su
dispositivo.
Programe los botones que no funcionen debidamente con la
funcin de aprendizaje.
Antes de programar un botn de dispositivo con la bsqueda de
cdigo por marca o la bsqueda automtica, es importante que
primero efecte un RESET para este botn. Si este dispositivo ya
hubiera sido programado con la funcin de aprendizaje, los
botones aprendidos no se sobrescribiran con la nueva
programacin.
La pantalla LCD no funciona
Las pilas estn descargadas o vacas. Sustituya las pilas por pilas
nuevas del mismo tipo. Consulte el captulo Insertar las pilas.
Los botones de colores para Teletexto no funcionan en
modo Teletexto
Mientras tenga activada la funcin REPRODUCC., los botones
de control de grabacin/reproduccin (5) se emplean para

controlar el reproductor seleccionado de videocasetes o de
discos. En este caso no puede utilizar estos botones para
controlar el Teletexto.

Grazie per aver acquistato un prodotto SilverCrest.
Il telecomando universale SilverCrest SFB 10.1 C3, da qui in avanti
telecomando, un dispositivo di altissima qualit che offre una vasta
gamma di funzioni. Comodo da maneggiare, dotato di un design
moderno e accattivante. Questo telecomando in grado di imparare i
segnali esterni e, di conseguenza, risulta utilizzabile con la maggior parte
dei televisori, decoder e dispositivi video, consentendo di controllare le
funzioni di massimo 10 apparecchiature elettroniche.
Utilizzo previsto
Il telecomando un dispositivo elettronico di largo consumo. Deve essere
utilizzato unicamente a scopo privato e non industriale o commerciale. Il
dispositivo non pu essere fatto funzionare allesterno o in climi tropicali.
Questo telecomando conforme a tutte le norme e gli standard in
materia di Conformit CE. Il produttore non pu essere ritenuto
responsabile per eventuali danni o problemi causati da modifiche non
autorizzate. Utilizzare esclusivamente accessori consigliati dal
produttore. Rispettare le leggi e la normativa in materia vigenti nel paese
di utilizzo.

immediatamente le batterie. In questo caso, non utilizzare
ulteriormente lapparecchio e farlo controllare da
personale autorizzato. Non inalare mai il fumo derivante
da un possibile incendio del dispositivo. In caso di
inalazione accidentale, consultare immediatamente un
medico. Le inalazioni di fumo possono risultare dannose.

Il dispositivo e i suoi accessori non devono subire danni,
onde evitare ulteriori rischi.

Non posizionare fiamme libere (come candele accese)
sopra o in prossimit del telecomando, onde evitare il
pericolo di incendi.

Non esporre il dispositivo a fonti dirette di calore (es.
termosifoni), a luce solare diretta o a forti luci artificiali. Il
dispositivo non deve essere esposto a schizzi o spruzzi di
acqua o liquidi abrasivi. Non utilizzare il telecomando
vicino allacqua. Soprattutto, il telecomando non deve mai
essere immerso in liquidi (non posizionare oggetti
contenenti liquidi, come vasi o bicchieri, sopra o vicino al
dispositivo); non esporre il dispositivo a brusche variazioni
di temperatura, che potrebbero provocare la formazione
di condensa e conseguenti cortocircuiti. Se il dispositivo
stato esposto a brusche variazioni di temperatura,
attendere che giunga a temperatura ambiente (circa 2 ore)
prima di accenderlo. Assicurarsi che il telecomando non

Il telecomando utilizza un diodo ad emissione luminosa
(LED) agli infrarossi con laser di Classe 1. Non guardare il
LED a infrarossi con dispositivi ottici, in quanto ci
potrebbe causare danni alla vista.
Batterie

Inserire le batterie prestando attenzione alla polarit. Fare
attenzione ai simboli + e situati sulle batterie e nel
relativo alloggiamento. Non tentare di ricaricare le batterie
e non gettarle nel fuoco. Non mescolare batterie (nuove e
vecchie, carbonio e alcaline, ecc.). Non mischiare batterie
ricaricabili e non. Mai aprire o deformare le batterie. In tal
caso, potrebbe sussistere il rischio di fuoriuscita di sostanze
chimiche. In caso di contatto fra le sostanze chimiche e la
pelle o gli occhi, risciacquare immediatamente con
abbondante acqua fresca e rivolgersi a un medico.
Rimuovere le batterie quando non si utilizza il dispositivo
per lunghi periodi di tempo. In tal modo si eviteranno i
danni conseguenti alla fuoriuscita di liquido. Un utilizzo
improprio pu causare esplosioni o fuoriuscite di liquido.

Bambini e disabili
I dispositivi elettrici non sono adatti ai bambini. I disabili devono
utilizzare i dispositivi elettronici solo nei limiti delle loro capacit. Non
consentire a bambini o disabili di utilizzare da soli i dispositivi
elettronici, a meno che non sappiano usarli e sempre sotto la
supervisione di una persona competente, responsabile della loro
sicurezza. I bambini devono essere sottoposti a supervisione per
assicurarsi che non giochino con il dispositivo. Eventuali operazioni di
pulizia e manutenzione del prodotto non devono essere eseguite dai
bambini senza la supervisione di adulti. Le batterie e i componenti di
piccole dimensioni potrebbero provocare soffocamento. Tenere
limballaggio fuori dalla portata di bambini e disabili.

Pericolo di soffocamento!

Manutenzione/Pulizia
Lassistenza necessaria quando il dispositivo ha subito danni di
qualsiasi tipo, come, per esempio, quando lesterno appare danneggiato,
quando liquidi od oggetti sono penetrati allinterno dellapparecchiatura
o quando il prodotto stato esposto a pioggia o umidit. Inoltre,
necessaria la riparazione in caso di malfunzionamento o caduta del
prodotto. In presenza di fumo, rumori od odori insoliti rimuovere
immediatamente le batterie. In questo caso, non utilizzare ulteriormente
lapparecchio e farlo controllare da personale autorizzato. Tutte le

riparazioni devono essere eseguite da personale specializzato. Non
smontare il dispositivo. Per la pulizia, utilizzare solo un panno pulito e
asciutto. Non impiegare mai liquidi corrosivi. Non tentare di smontare il
dispositivo, la sua apertura annuller la garanzia.
Ambiente operativo

Non utilizzare il dispositivo in ambienti con alte
temperature o forti tassi di umidit (es. stanze da bagno) o
in ambienti estremamente polverosi. Temperatura e umidit
operative: da 5C a 35C, max. 85% di umidit relativa.
Inserimento delle batterie

I codici programmati e le impostazioni relative alla lingua
vengono memorizzati permanentemente e non vanno persi
quando si cambiano le batterie.
Data e ora, invece, dovranno essere reimpostate.
Aprire lalloggiamento delle batterie sul
retro del telecomando facendo scivolare il
coperchio nella direzione della freccia.
Inserire le batterie prestando attenzione
alla polarit (+ e -), come illustrato in
figura. I simboli di polarit sono presenti
sia sulle batterie sia nel relativo vano.
Chiudere il coperchio dellalloggiamento.
Se il dispositivo non risponde al
telecomando, sostituire le batterie con altre
nuove dello stesso tipo. Il dispositivo non
dotato di un segnale di avviso di batterie
scariche.

Prima di iniziare
Il telecomando alimentato da 2 batterie Micro AAA da 1,5 V, LR03
(mini stilo). Le batterie sono accluse alla confezione.
Alla consegna le batterie sono gi
inserite nel relativo alloggiamento.
Sar sufficiente rimuovere la pellicola
protettiva inserita fra le batterie e i
relativi contatti. Procedere come
segue:
1. Aprire lalloggiamento delle
batterie.
2. Rimuovere la pellicola protettiva.

Tutte le funzioni descritte in queste istruzioni sono valide
solo se la disposizione del tastierino del telecomando
originale identica a quella del tastierino di questo
telecomando. Tale corrispondenza si verifica solo
raramente. Ci significa che uneventuale impossibilit a
utilizzare tutte le funzioni presenti sul telecomando
originale non indice di malfunzionamento di questo
telecomando.

Tutti i marchi e/o i nomi di prodotti menzionati in queste istruzioni e
nellelenco dei codici del dispositivo appartengono ai rispettivi proprietari
e vengono impiegati unicamente per la descrizione e l'identificazione del
prodotto.
Introduzione
Una volta inserite le batterie, lo schermo si illuminer e, dopo circa 1 sec,
apparir la schermata iniziale. Su di essa sono visualizzati dispositivo,
codice, giorno della settimana e ora. Limpostazione predefinita TV,
luned e 12.00AM. Dalla schermata iniziale possibile selezionare il
dispositivo da controllare con i pulsanti del dispositivo (4).
Contemporaneamente, verr visualizzato il codice del dispositivo
selezionato.
Premere brevemente il pulsante per visualizzare il dispositivo
selezionato, il giorno della settimana e la data completa. Nel caso in cui
non venga premuto nessun pulsante, dopo poco la retroilluminazione si
spegner. Questo intervallo di tempo pu essere impostato nel menu
"CONFIGURA".

del canale. Premere nuovamente per inserire un
numero a 1 cifra di un canale.

Accende/spegne la retroilluminazione del telecomando.
Menu di configurazione
Tenere premuto per 3 sec per aprire il menu. Il sottomenu
predefinito LINGUA. Per programmare il telecomando in base alle
proprie necessit, utilizzare i pulsanti per spostarsi sul
sottomenu desiderato o premere per tornare alla schermata
iniziale. Premere il pulsante per aprire il sottomenu selezionato.

In modalit impostazione, dopo 30 sec di inattivit il
telecomando torna alla schermata iniziale. Se necessario,
ricominciare la programmazione.
Effettuare la scelta e poi premere per confermare e terminare la
programmazione. Sullo schermo apparir RIUSCITO. Le nuove
impostazioni vengono memorizzate per il dispositivo selezionato sempre

Di seguito, una panoramica della struttura del menu:

Per aprire il menu di configurazione necessario

Impostazione della lingua del menu (LINGUA)
La voce LINGUA del menu principale consente di selezionare la lingua
desiderata del telecomando. possibile scegliere una delle seguenti
lingue: English, German, Italiano, Spanish o French. Procedere nel
seguente modo:

Premere per tornare indietro di un livello nel menu. Per tornare
alla schermata iniziale, premere uno dei pulsanti del dispositivo (4).
Programmazione del telecomando (IMPOST.COD.)
Questa voce del menu principale consente di programmare il
telecomando in base alle proprie esigenze. Sono disponibili i seguenti 3
metodi:
1. Ricerca del codice del marchio RICERC.MAR.. Se il produttore del
dispositivo presente nellelenco dei codici del telecomando, questo
il metodo di programmazione pi rapido.
2. Ricerca automatica del codice RICERC.AUTO. Questo metodo
riprende tutti i codici disponibili nellelenco e li invia al dispositivo.
Ci comporta un periodo di tempo relativamente lungo.
3. Inserimento diretto del codice IMPOST.COD.. Questo metodo
comporta limmissione manuale diretta del codice trovato nel relativo
elenco.
Le istruzioni seguenti faciliteranno la programmazione del telecomando
con uno dei metodi precedenti.

Prima di programmare un pulsante del dispositivo con la
ricerca del codice del marchio o quella automatica,
effettuare un REIMP del pulsante in oggetto. Se in
precedenza questo dispositivo stato programmato per
mezzo della funzione Imparo... , i tasti appresi non
verranno sovrascritti dalla nuova programmazione. Per
maggiori informazioni, vedere il capitolo Ripristino
delle impostazioni sui valori predefiniti (REIMP) a pag.

Ricerca del codice del marchio (RICERC.MAR.)
1. Premere il pulsante del dispositivo da programmare.
2. Tenere premuto il pulsante per 3 sec.
3. Premere , selezionare IMPOST.COD. e premere
per confermare.
4. Premere , selezionare RICERC.MAR. e premere
per confermare. Il primo nome di marchio in ordine alfabetico, per il
dispositivo selezionato, apparir sullo schermo.
5. Premere per spostarsi sul nome di marchio
desiderato, per es. SilverCrest.
6. Per sveltire la ricerca, possibile inserire il primo o tutti i caratteri del
marchio con il tastierino numerico (11). Premere quindi per
andare al marchio selezionato. Inserendo solo il primo carattere del
marchio (es. S per SilverCrest) e premendo , apparir il nome del
primo marchio che inizia per S. Sar quindi necessario premere
per spostarsi manualmente su SilverCrest.

Oltre ai numeri, sui tasti numerici sono presenti lettere o simboli,
selezionabili premendo i tasti una o pi volte. I caratteri o i simboli
assegnati sono stampati sui rispettivi tasti numerici.
Una volta selezionato un carattere, attendere pochi secondi: la lettera
scelta verr visualizzata e sar possibile immettere il carattere successivo.
possibile inserire un massimo di 11 caratteri per marchio. Se si
commette un errore, premere per cancellare lultimo carattere e
reinserirlo.
7. Generalmente i diversi produttori di dispositivi impiegano codici
differenti per i loro telecomandi. Si tratta solo di individuare il codice
corretto. Il codice in uso viene visualizzato sotto al marchio
selezionato. Premere per selezionare i codici preimpostati per il
marchio desiderato.
8. A questo punto, provare il codice selezionato orientando il
telecomando verso il dispositivo e controllando che questultimo
risponda correttamente alla pressione dei pulsanti. Non necessario
uscire dalla modalit impostazione per effettuare questa prova.

9. Se la maggior parte dei pulsanti funziona in maniera corretta,

premere per selezionare il codice successivo e ripetere il test,
come descritto al punto 8. Ripetere questa procedura fino a quando
non si individua il codice giusto.

4. Se il dispositivo risponde al codice inviato
accendendosi/spegnendosi o eseguendo una delle succitate
operazioni, premere per interrompere la ricerca. A questo
punto si vicini al codice corretto, anche se non si ancora
individuato quello che corrisponda perfettamente, dato che la
ricerca automatica stata interrotta con un leggero ritardo e sono
stati inviati altri codici.
Durante la ricerca automatica, il telecomando risponde solo ai pulsanti
e .
5. Dopo aver premuto per interrompere la ricerca, possibile
premere per inviare manualmente il codice
precedente o successivo. Se il dispositivo risponde nuovamente a un
codice, si trovato un codice adatto. Premere per uscire dalla
ricerca automatica. I codici verranno memorizzati e sullo schermo
apparir RIUSCITO.
6. O premere per uscire dalla ricerca automatica. Ci far s
che i codici NON vengano salvati.
7. Una volta che il telecomando ha finito di inviare lultimo codice
disponibile nellelenco, la ricerca si interrompe e, dopo pochi
secondi, appare la schermata iniziale.
Inserimento diretto del codice (IMPOST.COD.)

7. I CODICI non validi non possono essere trovati nellelenco CODICI.
Inserendo un codice non valido, sullo schermo apparir NON
TROVATO e sar possibile digitare il codice corretto.
Modalit Flex
Per i diversi pulsanti del dispositivo sono presenti elenchi di codici
preimpostati per specifici gruppi di dispositivi. Generalmente, i pulsanti
del dispositivo vengono assegnati a tipi di dispositivo corrispondenti. Per
esempio, il pulsante verr assegnato a un videoregistratore,
quello a un lettore DVD, ecc. La modalit Flex consente di
assegnare un dispositivo di qualsiasi gruppo ai pulsanti e

dispositivi desiderato (a cui il dispositivo appartiene) al pulsante
o che si desidera utilizzare per quel dispositivo.

Selezionando 0 sec, la retroilluminazione rimarr spenta qualsiasi

accendere manualmente la retroilluminazione premendo il pulsante
. In questo caso, lilluminazione durer 5 sec.

Attenzione! Maggiore sar la durata dellilluminazione
impostata, minore risulter la durata della batteria.

Regolazione del volume complessivo (VOL.DIS.SEL)
Consente di assegnare la regolazione del volume di un dispositivo privo
di questa funzione (es. un lettore DVD) a un dispositivo diverso. Il
vantaggio consiste nel fatto che non necessario premere prima un
pulsante del dispositivo (nellesempio precedente il pulsante del
dispositivo TV) e poi un altro per tornare al dispositivo di riproduzione (il
lettore DVD).
Regolazione del volume complessivo (IMPOST.VPT)
Attivazione:
1. Tenere premuto il pulsante per almeno 3 sec.

Per utilizzare questa funzione, necessario assegnare al pulsante del
dispositivo corrispondente un codice valido per il dispositivo desiderato.

restrizione. Tutti i dispositivi assegnati ai pulsanti non bloccati potranno
ancora essere controllati senza restrizioni.

Questa funzione permette al telecomando di imparare i singoli pulsanti di
un dispositivo selezionato.
1. Premere il pulsante del dispositivo relativo al dispositivo da
programmare.
3. Premere , selezionare IMPARO... e premere per

4. Premere , selezionare IMPARA TAST e premere
per confermare.

Tutti i pulsanti, eccetto quelli del dispositivo, supportano questa funzione.

7. Posizionare il telecomando originale in modo tale che il suo LED IR e
quello (10) del telecomando 10-in-1 si trovino uno di fronte allaltro,
a una distanza massima di 5 cm.
8. Tenere premuto il pulsante, sul telecomando originale, di cui si
desidera copiare il comando. Lavvenuto rilevamento del codice del
pulsante indicato dal messaggio RIUSCITO sullo schermo.
9. Ripetere i passi da 5 a 8 per ogni pulsante che si desidera
apprenda una funzione.
10. Nel caso in cui la trasmissione del codice originale non riuscisse o,
nei successivi 30 sec, non fosse inviato alcun codice, sullo schermo
apparir ERRORE. In questo caso, ripetere i punti da 5 a 8.
Da questa modalit si pu uscire premendo quando sullo
schermo appare SELEZ.TAST. Premendo uno qualsiasi dei pulsanti del
dispositivo si torner alla schermata iniziale.

Eventuali problemi con questa funzione potrebbero essere
indice di batterie scariche. Se necessario, sostituirle.
Cancellazione dei codici dei singoli pulsanti (CANC TAST)
Questa funzione permette di cancellare i codici appresi per i singoli
pulsanti di un dispositivo selezionato.

5. Quando si selezioner una macro a cui stata assegnata una
sequenza di comandi, sullo schermo apparir MACRO ESIST. In
questo caso sar necessario cancellare questa macro prima di
inserire i comandi o selezionare unaltra macro libera.
6. Viene mostrato il dispositivo selezionato.

Esecuzione di una macro
1. Premere il pulsante .
2. Entro i successivi 5 sec, premere i pulsanti numerici da 1 a 6
corrispondenti alla macro desiderata.
3. La sequenza di comandi programmata per questa macro viene
inviata.
Se, entro 5 sec dalla pressione di , non viene premuto il pulsante
numerico corrispondente o ne viene premuto uno errato a cui non
assegnata alcuna macro, la retroilluminazione del telecomando
lampeggia 4 volte.
Cancellazione di una macro
2. Premere , selezionare MACRO e premere per
confermare.
3. Premere , selezionare "MACRO1 (o "MACRO2..
"MACRO6) e premere per confermare. Sullo schermo
apparir IMPOSTAZ..
4. Premere , selezionare CANCELLA e premere

Configurazione dei canali preferiti (CAN.PREF.)
Questa funzione attiva solo nelle modalit TV, DSAT, CBL e AUX (se il
pulsante del dispositivo AUX stato programmato) e consente di
memorizzare i canali preferiti.

selezionare un canale preimpostato preferito diverso.
8. Selezionando un preferito preimpostato gi in uso, linserimento
sovrascriver il canale esistente.
Passare al canale preferito
Premere una o pi volte per far scorrere i canali preferiti in
sequenza. Una volta raggiunto lultimo canale preferito salvato, la
selezione ricomincia dallinizio.
Cancellazione di tutti i canali preferiti (CANC TUTTO)
possibile cancellare in una volta sola tutti i canali preferiti. I singoli
canali preferiti non possono essere cancellati, ma possono essere
sovrascritti.

Il telecomando comprende 4 timer degli eventi, che consentono di inviare
a una data ora una sequenza di comandi preimpostata.

stato impostato nel formato 12 ore, notare che
in questo caso il telecomando convertir automaticamente
il formato 24 ore in quello 12. Esempio: Per programmare
un timer per le 03:30 PM, inserire 15:30.

sequenza di comandi (massimo 14 pulsanti) che si intende inviare

La funzione Tutto ON/Tutto OFF
Se il telecomando stato programmato per controllare diversi dispositivi,
questa funzione consente di accenderli e spegnerli tutti
contemporaneamente, con la pressione di un solo tasto. Tenere premuto
il pulsante (3) per pochi secondi. Ci accender/spegner tutti i
dispositivi contemporaneamente. In base al numero di dispositivi
programmati, questa operazione potrebbe richiedere fino a 10 sec.
Affinch questa funzione sia operativa necessario che:
Non si frappongano ostacoli fra il telecomando e tutti i dispositivi
da accendere/spegnere.
Tutti i dispositivi supportino laccensione/lo spegnimento tramite
telecomando.
Le funzioni ricerca automatica per codice, ricerca del codice di
marchio e macro siano disabilitate.
Risoluzione dei problemi
Il dispositivo non risponde ai comandi del telecomando

la funzione Imparo... .
Prima di programmare un pulsante del dispositivo con la ricerca
del codice del marchio o quella automatica, effettuare un REIMP
del pulsante in oggetto. Se in precedenza questo dispositivo
stato programmato per mezzo della funzione Imparo... , i tasti
appresi non verranno sovrascritti dalla nuova programmazione.

Lo schermo LCD non funziona
Le batterie sono quasi o del tutto scariche. Sostituire le batterie con
altre nuove, dello stesso tipo. Vedere anche il capitolo

I pulsanti del testo nella parte superiore non funzionano in
modalit Televideo
Quando la funzione RIPRODU. attivata, i pulsanti di controllo
della registrazione/riproduzione (5) vengono utilizzati per
controllare il lettore di cassette o dischi selezionato. In tal caso,
questi pulsanti non possono essere impiegati per le funzioni
relative al testo nella parte superiore del televisore.

Thank you for choosing a SilverCrest product.
The SilverCrest SFB 10.1 C3 universal remote control, hereinafter called
"remote control", is a high-end device that offers a wide range of
functions. It is easy to handle and has a modern, appealing design. The
remote control can learn external signals and is therefore suitable for
most TVs, set-top boxes, tape and disc devices. It allows you to
conveniently control the functions of up to 10 different consumer
electronics devices.
Intended use
This remote control is a consumer electronics device. It is suitable only for
private use, not for industrial or commercial purposes. The remote control
may also not be used outdoors or in tropical climates. This remote control
fulfils all norms and standards relating to CE conformity. The manufacturer
is not liable for any damage or problems caused by unauthorised
modifications to the remote control. Only use the accessories
recommended by the manufacturer. Observe the regulations and laws in
the country of use.

This remote control may be used by children older than 8

of the remote control and they understand the associated

Any cleaning or maintenance of the product must not be
performed by children unless they are supervised. Keep the
packaging materials out of the reach of children. There is a
risk of suffocation!

If smoke, unusual noises or smells are noticed, remove the
batteries from remote control immediately. If this occurs, the
remote control should no longer be used until it has been
inspected by authorized service personnel. Never inhale

The remote control and its accessories must not be
damaged in order to avoid any further risks.

Make sure that no fire hazards (e.g. burning candles) are
placed on or near the remote control as there is a risk of

Do not expose the remote control to any direct heat
sources (e.g. heaters), direct sunlight or strong artificial
light. The remote control must not be exposed to spray or
dripping water or abrasive liquids. Do not use the remote
control near water. The remote control must especially
never be immersed (do not place any recipients containing
liquids such as beverages, vases, etc. onto or next to the
remote control). The remote control must not be subject to
any great temperature changes as this could lead to
condensation of moisture in the air which could cause
short-circuiting. If the device has been exposed to strong
temperature variations, wait for it to reach the ambient
temperature before switching it on (about 2 hours). Take
care that the remote control is not subject to excessive
impacts or vibrations. Do not introduce any foreign bodies
into the device, otherwise the remote control can be
damaged.

The remote control uses a Laser Class 1 infrared light-
emitting diode (LED). Do not look at the infrared LED using
any optical devices, as this could damage your eyes.
Batteries

Insert the batteries with the correct polarity. Refer to the
diagram on the batteries and inside the battery
compartment. Do not attempt to recharge the batteries and
do not throw the batteries into a fire. Do not mix battery
types (old and new or carbon and alkaline, etc.). Do not
mix rechargeable and conventional batteries. Batteries
must never be opened or deformed. Otherwise there is a
risk of leaking chemicals. If the chemicals become in
contact with your skin or eyes, rinse with plenty of fresh
water immediately and seek medical aid. Remove the
batteries when the remote control is not to be used for a
long time. This will avoid any damage due to leaking.
Improper use could cause explosions or leaks.

Children and persons with disabilities
Electrical devices are not suitable for children. People with disabilities
should only use electrical devices within the limits of their abilities. Do
not allow children or persons with disabilities to use electrical devices
when not under supervision. Unless they are instructed accordingly and
supervised by a competent person responsible for their safety. Children
should always be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
product. Any cleaning or maintenance of the product must not be
performed by children unless they are supervised. Batteries and small
parts represent potential choking hazards. Keep the packaging away
from children and persons with disabilities too.

Danger of suffocation!

Maintenance / cleaning
Repairs are required if the remote control has been damaged in any way,
for example if the device housing is damaged, when liquids or objects
have penetrated into the remote control or when the product has been
exposed to rain or moisture. Repairs are also necessary if the product
does not perform normally or if it has been dropped. If you notice smoke,
unusual noises or smells, remove the batteries immediately. If this occurs,
the remote control should no longer be used until it has been inspected
by authorized service personnel. All repairs must be carried out by
qualified service personnel. Never open the housing of the remote
control. Only use a clean, dry cloth for cleaning the remote control.
Never use any corrosive liquids. Do not attempt to open the remote
control housing, this would void your warranty.

Operating environment

The device is not designed for use in environments with
high temperatures or humidity (e.g. bathrooms) or those
with above-average levels of dust. Operating temperature
and operating humidity: 5C to 35C, max. 85 % RH.
Inserting the batteries

The programmed codes and the language settings are
stored permanently and are not lost if you change the
batteries.
The date and time are lost.
Open the battery compartment on the
back of the remote control by removing
the battery compartment cover in the
direction shown. Insert the batteries with
the correct polarity, as shown in the
diagram. The correct polarity is labelled
on the batteries and inside the battery
compartment. Close the battery
compartment cover. If the devices fail to
respond to the remote control, replace the
batteries with new batteries of the same
type. The device does not give any
indication when the batteries are running
low.

Before you start
The remote control is powered by 2 batteries of type Micro AAA, LR03,
1.5V. They are included in the package.
On delivery, the batteries are already
inserted into the battery compartment.
You just need to remove the plastic
film that is inserted between the
batteries and the battery contacts.
The procedure is as follows:
1. Open the battery compartment.
2. Remove the plastic film.

Important note on compatibility

All functions described in these operating instructions are
valid only if the keypad layout of your original remote
control matches exactly the one of your 10-in-1 remote
control. But this only very rarely the case. This means that if
you are unable to use all functions of your original remote
control, it does not mean there is a fault with your 10-in-1
remote control.

owners and are used for product description and identification purposes

Getting started
After inserting the batteries, the display lights up and the start window
appears after about 1 second. The start window shows the device, code,
day of the week and time. The default setting is TV, Monday and
12.00AM. From the start window you can toggle to the device that you
want to control by using the device buttons (4). The device code for the
selected device is displayed at the same time.
Briefly press the button to display the selected device, the day of
the week and the full date. If no button is pressed for a while, the remote
control light will go off. You can set the light delay time in the
CONFIGURE menu.

AV input selection for the selected device

Use this button to enter two-digit channel numbers. This
function depends on the selected device. To enter a two-
digit channel number, first press the button and
then enter the channel number. Pressing the
button again allows you to enter a single-digit channel
number.

Toggles the remote control light on/off.

Configuration menus
Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to open the menu. The
default sub-menu is LANGUAGE. To program the remote control
according to your needs, use the buttons to navigate to the
sub-menu you want or press to return to the start window. Press
the button to open the selected sub-menu.

If no entry is made for 30 seconds in setup mode, the
remote control returns to the start window. If necessary,
start programming again.

Make your selection and then press to confirm and finish
programming. The display reads SUCCESS. The new settings are
stored for the device currently selected providing no other device was
selected while programming.
The following settings can be made in the CONFIGURE menu:

To open the configuration menu it is necessary to
keep the button pressed (approx. 3
seconds) until the display toggles to setup mode.
Setting the Menu Language (LANGUAGE)
The LANGUAGE main menu item allows you to select the desired
language for the remote control. You can choose one of the following
menu languages: English, German, Italian, Spanish or French. Proceed as
follows:
1. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds. Press
, select LANGUAGE and then press .

Upon factory delivery the device is set to the English language. Therefore
the first option shown is LANGUAGE.
2. Press , select one of the 5 languages offered and then
press to confirm. The display reads SUCCESS.
Press to go back one menu level. To return to the start window,
press one of the device buttons (4).
Programming the remote control (CODE SETUP)
This main menu item allows you to program the remote control according
to your needs. The following 3 methods are available:
1. Brand code search BRAND SRCH. If the manufacturer of your
device is in the device code list of the remote control, this is the
fastest programming method.
2. Automatic code search AUTO SRCH. This method runs through all
the codes available on the code list and sends them to your device.
This method takes a relatively long time.
3. Direct code input CODE SET. This method requires entering the
code found in the device code list manually.
The operating instructions below help you program the remote control
using any of the above programming methods.

Before programming a device button by using brand
code search or automatic search, please carry out a
RESET for this device button. If this device had
previously been programmed using the learn function,
any learned keys would not be overwritten by the new
programming. For more information, see the chapter
Resetting to factory defaults (RESET) on page 74.
Brand code search (BRAND SRCH)
1. Press the device button of the device that you want to program.
2. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds.
3. Press , select CODE SETUP and press to
confirm.
4. Press , select BRAND SRCH and press to
confirm. The first brand name alphabetically for the preset devices
appears on the display.
5. Press to navigate to the brand name you want, e.g.
SilverCrest.
6. To accelerate the brand search you can enter the first or all
characters of the brand name via the numeric keypad (11). Then
press to go to the selected brand. If you only enter the first
character of the brand name (e.g. S for SilverCrest), pressing the
button will show the first brand name starting with S. Then you need
to press the buttons to manually scroll to the
SilverCrest brand.
As well as the digits, the keypad buttons also have characters or symbols
assigned that you can select by pressing them once or more. The
characters or symbols assigned are printed on the number keys.
After selecting a character and waiting for a few seconds, this character
is applied and you can enter the next character. You can enter up to 11

characters for a brand name. If you make a mistake, press to
delete the last character and enter it again.
7. Typically, different device manufacturers use different codes for their
remote controls. At this point youll have to find the optimum code.
The current code is shown under the selected brand name. You can
press the buttons to select the preset codes for the desired
brand.
8. Now test the code selected by pointing the remote control at the
device and checking if it responds properly to the button pressed . It
is not necessary to exit the setup mode to perform this test.
The following buttons cannot be used for the function test:

9. If most of the buttons work properly, press . The code is saved for
the device button selected .
10. If no buttons work properly or only a few do, press to select the
next code and repeat the test as described in step 8. Repeat this
procedure as many times as necessary until you have found suitable
code.

Repeat the above procedure for all devices you wish to control with your
new remote control.
Automatic code search (AUTO SRCH)
2. Press , select CODE SETUP and then press . Press
and select AUTO SRCH. Press .
3. Press the device button for the device you wish to program. Then
press . The remote control starts sending all available codes. This
is indicated by a flashing IR icon on the display.
By default the remote control sends the code for the button.
If no code is assigned to the button, the following codes will be
send for the different devices:
TV:
the remote control sends the code CH+.
DVD/CD/VCR:
the remote control sends the code PLAY.
DSAT/CBL:
AMP:
the remote control sends the code MUTE.
Other devices:
4. If your device responds to the sent code by powering on or off or by
executing one of the above functions, press to stop the
search. At this point you are close to the correct code, but you may
not yet have found the one that matches completely, as the

automatic search had been stopped with a slight delay and further
codes have been sent.
During the automatic search, the remote control responds to the
and buttons only.
5. After you have pressed the button to stop searching you can
press the buttons to send the previous or next codes
manually. If your device responds again to a code, you have found
a suitable code. Press to exit the automatic search. The codes
are saved and the display reads SUCCESS.
6. Or press to exit the automatic search. This will not save any
codes.
7. After the remote control has finished transmitting the last available
code from the code list, the search will stop and after a few seconds
the start window appears.
Direct code input (CODE SET)
2. Press , select CODE SETUP and then press .
3. Press , select CODE SET and press to confirm.
The selected device flashes and the currently set device code
appears on the display. At this point you can select a different device
by using the device buttons. Confirm your selection with .
4. The first digit of the 4-digit device code currently set flashes.
5. Enter the correct 4-digit code for the device selected by using the
number buttons. You can find the 4-digit code in the device code list
supplied.
6. Press to confirm the entry. The display reads SUCCESS
followed by CODE SET.
7. Invalid CODES cannot be found in the CODE list. If you enter an
invalid code NOT FOUND appears on the display and you can
then enter the correct code.
Flex mode
For the different device buttons there are preset code lists for specific
device groups. Normally, you will assign the corresponding device types
to the device buttons. For example, you will assign programming a VCR
to the device button, a DVD player to the device button,
etc. Furthermore, the Flex mode conveniently lets you assign a device
from any device group to the and buttons. The requisite is
that you assign the code list of the desired device group (where the
device belongs to) to the or button you want to use for
this device.
The code lists (e.g. 0 for TV or 2 for DVD) belonging to each device
group can be found in the table below:

Before you can program the device buttons or using the
brand code search or automatic search, it is necessary to assign the code
list to the device button. To do so, proceed as described in the previous
section, select the number 0001 as your code and select the number of
the desired code list (0 to 7). This assigns the code list to the device
button or so you can proceed with programming.
At this point, programming the device buttons or works
the same way as described in the Automatic code search (AUTO
SRCH) and Brand code search (BRAND SRCH) chapters.
System configuration (CONFIGURE)
Setting the time (TIME SETUP)
2. Press , select CONFIGURE and press to confirm.
3. Press , select TIME SETUP and press to confirm.
4. Press , select between 12HR and 24HR.
5. Press to toggle to time setting mode. The hour display flashes.
6. Press and select the correct value for the hour. You
can also adjust the value by using the numeric keypad (11).
7. Press to toggle to minute setting mode.
8. Press and select the correct value for the minutes. You
can also adjust the value by using the numeric keypad (11).
9. If you selected 12HR in step 4, you can press to select the
PM/AM setting. Press to toggle between PM and
AM.
10. Press to confirm your entry and save the setting. The display
reads SUCCESS followed by TIME SETUP.

Setting the date (DATE SETUP)
3. Press , select DATE SETUP and press to confirm.
4. The current date appears and the year flashes. Press the
buttons to set the correct year.
5. Press until the month display flashes. Press the
buttons to set the correct month.
6. Press until the day display flashes. Press the
buttons to set the correct day. Press to confirm your entries. The
display reads SUCCESS followed by DATE SETUP.
7. Once the date has been set properly, in the upper right corner of the
display the abbreviated day of the week is shown.
Adjusting the keypad light time (TIME)
3. Press , select LIGHT-TIME and press to confirm.
4. Press to set the light duration of the remote control in
5-second increments between 0 and 60 seconds. If you select 0
seconds, the light remains off when any button is pressed. When set
to 0 seconds, the light can be switched on manually by pressing the
button. In this case it will light for 5 seconds.
reads SUCCESS followed by LIGHT-TIME.

Please note that setting a longer light duration will shorten
the battery life.
Global volume adjustment (VOL THROUGH)
The global volume adjustment/mute feature allows you to assign the
volume adjustment of a device that does not have this feature (e.g. a DVD
player) to a different device (e.g. a TV). The advantage is that it is not
necessary to press a device button (in the above example, the TV device
button) first and then another device button to switch back to the
playback device (the DVD player in the above example).
Adjusting the global volume (VPT SETUP)
Switching on:
1. Press and hold the button for at least 3 seconds.
3. Press , select VOL THROUGH and press to
confirm.
4. Press , select VPT SETUP and press to confirm.
The display reads TO DEV.

5. Next press the device button of the device that you want to assign
the volume control to, e.g. DVD. Then the display shows FROM
DEV.
6. Next, press the device button of the device from which you want to
use the volume control to, e.g. TV. Then the display will show
SUCCESS followed by VOL THROUGH.
After you have finished performing these steps, you can use the
and buttons to adjust the volume and also mute the sound of the TV
even while in DVD mode.
Disabling the global volume adjustment (CANCEL VPT)
Switching off:

The display briefly shows SUCCESS to confirm.
This cancels the global volume adjustment/mute function.
Global recording/playback control (PLAYBACK)
This function allows you to control a VCR, DVD player or Blu-ray player
with the recording / playback control buttons (5) without having to select
the corresponding device first by using the device buttons.
To use this function, a valid code for the desired device needs to be
assigned to the corresponding device button. This function is limited to the
, and device buttons. The default setting is OFF.
3. Press , select PLAYBACK and press to confirm.
4. Press , select VCR for a video recorder, DVD for a
DVD player or BD for a Blu-ray player. Or select OFF to disable
this function. Confirm your selection with . The display reads
SUCCESS followed by PLAYBACK.
Child lock (KIDS LOCK)
This feature allows you to lock one or more device buttons so that the
associated device cannot be operated any more. The and
buttons will still be working without any restrictions. All devices
assigned to non-locked device buttons can still be controlled without any
restrictions.
3. Press , select KIDS LOCK and press to confirm.
4. Press the device button of the device that you wish to lock for
children.
5. Press and choose between ON or OFF to enable
or disable the child lock.
reads SUCCESS followed by KIDS LOCK.

Locking the configuration menu (LOCK SETUP)
This menu item lets you lock access to all configuration menus. While the
lock is enabled, "LOCKED" is displayed if a configuration menu is
accessed. The only option available will be the unlock option.
1. Press and hold the S button for 3 seconds.
3. Press , select LOCK SETUP and press to confirm.
LOCK appears on the display. Press to confirm. The display
reads SUCCESS followed by LOCK SETUP. The configuration
menus are now locked.
4. If you now attempt to change anything in a menu, the message
LOCKED appears.
5. To unlock, press and hold the S button for 3 seconds.
7. Press , select LOCK SETUP and press to confirm.
LOCK appears on the display.
8. Press , select UNLOCK and press to confirm.
The display reads SUCCESS followed by LOCK SETUP.
9. The configuration menus are now unlocked.
Resetting to factory defaults (RESET)
3. Press , select RESET and press to confirm.
4. Press and choose between ALL RESET and
MODE.
5. Press to confirm your entry.
Choosing ALL RESET will restore the settings for all devices. The
procedure is as follows:
6. After choosing ALL RESET, press to confirm. The display will
read CONFIRM RST.
You can still press to cancel the reset at this point.
7. Press to confirm your entry. The display reads OK and then
returns to the start window.
The day of the week and the time are not reset.
Choosing MODE restores the settings for the selected device only. The
procedure is as follows:
8. After you confirm your selection MODE by pressing , the
display shows the device currently selected. Select the device you
want by pressing the corresponding device button.
9. After confirming your choice with , the display will read
"CONFIRM RST".
You can still press to cancel the reset at this point.

returns to the start window.
The learn function (LEARNING)
Programming via the learn function (LEARN KEY)
This function allows the remote control to learn individual buttons for a
selected device.
1. Press the device button for the device that you wish to program.
3. Press , select LEARNING and press to confirm.
4. Press , select LEARN KEY and press to confirm.
5. The display reads SELECT KEY.
All buttons except the device buttons support learning.
6. Press the button that you wish to learn a command. The display
reads WAITING.
7. Place the original remote control so its IR LED and the IR LED (2) of
your 10-in-1 remote control face each other and are no greater than
5 cm apart.
8. Next press the button on the original remote control from which you
wish to copy the signal. The successful detection of the button code is
indicated by SUCCESS on the display.
9. Repeat steps 5 to 8 for each button that you wish to learn a function.
10. If the transmission of the original code fails or no code is sent during
the next 30 seconds, FAIL appears on the display. In this case,
repeat steps 5 to 8.
You can quit learning mode by pressing the button if the display
reads SELECT KEY. Pressing any of the device buttons takes you back
to the start window.

If you experience any problems with the learn function, the
batteries of the original remote control could be low.
Replace them if necessary.
Deleting individual button codes (DELETE KEY)
This function allows you to delete the learned code for an individual
button for a selected device.
4. Press , select DELETE KEY and press to confirm.
5. The display reads SELECT KEY.
6. Press the button for which you want to delete the code. The display
reads SURE DELET.

7. Press to confirm. The display reads DELETED and then again
SELECT KEY.
8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 for each button for which you wish to delete
the code.
Deleting the device codes of an individual device (DELETE
DEV)
This function allows you to delete all learned codes for a selected device.

4. The display reads SELECT DEV.
5. Press the device button of the device for which you want to delete
the code. The display reads SURE DELET.
SELECT DEV.
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each device for which you wish to delete
the codes.
Deleting all button codes (DELETE ALL)
This function allows you to delete all learned codes for all devices at
once.

The macro function (MACRO)
The macro function lets you save up to 16 commands for a device that
will be sent in sequence when pressing one single button.
Example: Power on TV > Select channel 11 > Display Teletext > Open
Teletext page 222.
Programming a macro
2. Press , select MACRO and press to confirm.
3. Press , select "MACRO1 (or "MACRO2..
"MACRO6 and press to confirm.
4. The display reads SET UP. Press to confirm.
5. If you select a macro that already has a command sequence
assigned, the display reads MACRO HAS. In this case you have to
delete this macro before entering commands or select a different,
free macro.

7. Enter the button commands sequence you want. Always start with the
device button of the device you want to record the macro for,
otherwise the message ERROR KEY appears.
8. By default, the different macro commands are transmitted
sequentially every second. As this could be too fast for some devices,
you can adjust the delay time in 2-second increments from 5 to 21
seconds.
9. To do this, press the button after a button command. Each press
of the button delays the pause time after the last command for 2
more seconds and the set value is shown on the display.
10. After you have finished entering the command sequence, press
. The display reads SUCCESS.
You can press up to 16 buttons per macro, including the device button.
After this, the macro is applied automatically and the display reads
SUCCESS.
Running a macro
1. Press the button.
2. Within the next 5 seconds, press the number button 1 to 6 which
corresponds to the macro you want.
3. The command sequence programmed for this macro is sent.
If you do not press the corresponding number button within 5 seconds
after you press the button or if you press a wrong button that has no
macro assigned, the remote control light flashes 4 times.
Deleting a macro
2. Press , select MACRO and press to confirm.
3. Press , select "MACRO1 (or "MACRO2..
"MACRO6 and press to confirm. The display reads SET UP.
4. Press , select DELETE and press to confirm. The
display reads SURE DELET.
5. Press to confirm. The display reads DELETED. The selected
macro is shown again on the display.

Configuring favourite channels (FAV CH)
This function is supported in the modes TV, DSAT, CBL and AUX (if the
AUX device button has been programmed accordingly) only You can
save preferred channels as favourites.
Setting up favourites
3. Press , select FAV CH and press to confirm.
The display reads FAV-CH01.
5. Press , select FAV-CH01 (or FAV-CH02.. FAV-
CH15) and press to confirm. The display reads SELECT KEY.
6. Enter the channel that you wish to save. You can save up to 6 entries
(digits or -/- -) per channel preset. The entered digits are not shown

on the display. When you have finished, press to save your
input. The display reads SUCCESS. Then the next favourite
channel preset appears on the display. Press to select
a different favourite preset.
7. After entering 6 buttons for one preset, it is saved automatically
when you press the 6

button. The display reads SUCCESS. Then
the next favourite channel preset appears on the display. Press
to select a different favourite preset.
8. If you select a favourite preset that is in use already, your entry
overwrites any existing channel.
Switching to favourite channel
Press the button once or more to switch your favourite channels in
sequence. Once you reach the last saved favourite channel, the selection
starts again from the beginning.
Deleting all favourite channels (DEL ALL)
It is only possible to delete all favourite channels at once. Individual
favourite channels cannot be deleted but they can be overwritten.
3. Press , select FAV CH and press to confirm.
4. Press , select DELETE ALL and press to confirm.
The display reads SURE DELET.
5. Press to confirm. The display reads DELETED and then
SETUP. Next you can program more favourite channels or exit the
menu.
The timer function (TIMER)
SLEEP TIMER
This feature lets you set a delay time after which a selected device will
switch off.
3. Press , select TIMER and press to confirm.
4. Press , select SLEEP TIMER and press to confirm.
The display reads SET TIMER and suggests a delay time of 30. The
first digit flashes.
5. Use the number buttons to enter a value between 01 and 99
minutes. Press to confirm. The display reads SUCCESS and
then SLEEP TIMER.
6. When the sleep timer is programmed, the icon appears on the
left of the display.
Event timers (TIMER 1.TIMER 4)
The remote control includes 4 event timers that allow the remote control to
send a preset command sequence at a set time.

2. Press , select TIMER and press to confirm. The
display reads SLEEP TIMER.
3. Press , select a desired timer from TIMER1 to
TIMER4 and press to confirm. The display shows a 4-digit time.
The first two digits representing the hour flash. Here, you set the time
at which you want the command sequence to be sent.
4. You can use the number buttons to set a time from 00:00 to 23:59.
Use the buttons to toggle between the 4 digits, e.g. to correct
any mistakes. Press to confirm the set time.

The timer is always set in 24-hour format. If you have set
the remote control preferences to the 12-hour format,
please note the following:
In this case the remote control automatically converts the
24-hour format to the 12-hour format. Example: To
program a timer for 03:30PM, enter 15:30.
5. Next press the device button for the device you want and then enter
the command sequence (max. 14 buttons) that you want to send at
the set time.
It is necessary to press a device button before entering a command
sequence, otherwise the display reads ERROR KEY.
6. By default, the different timer commands are transmitted sequentially
every second. As this could be too fast for some devices, you can
adjust the delay time in 2-second increments from 5 to 21 seconds.
To do so, press the button, more than once, if necessary. The
current delay time is indicated on the display.
7. When you are done, press to confirm your entry. The display
reads SUCCESS.
8. You can press up to 15 buttons per event timer, including the device
button. After this, the programming is applied automatically and the
display reads SUCCESS.
9. If required, you can program more event timers.
10. When an event timer is programmed, the icon appears on the left
of the display.
After an event timer has completed it is erased automatically.
Deleting a timer
To delete a programmed timer (SLEEP TIMER, TIMER1 to TIMER4):
2. Press , select TIMER and press to confirm.
3. Select the timer that you wish to delete and press to confirm. The
display reads CLEAR. Press to confirm. The display reads
SUCCESS. The selected timer is deleted. The display shows the
name of the selected timer (SLEEP TIMER, TIMER1 to TIMER4).

The All on/All off feature
If you have programmed your remote control to control several devices,
this feature lets you switch all of them on or off at the same time by just
pressing one button. To do so, press and hold the button (3) for
a few seconds. This switches all the devices on or off at the same time.
Depending on the number of devices programmed, this can take up to 10
seconds. The following is required for this feature to work:
A clear line of sight between the remote control and each device
you want to switch on/off.
All devices need to support powering on/off via remote control.
The automatic code search, brand code search and macro
functions must be disabled.
Troubleshooting
Device does not respond to the remote control commands
Please check that you have selected the correct device with the
remote control.
Point the remote control directly at the device.
Check if the remote control has been programmed with the correct
code for your device.
It is possible that the device is not compatible with programming
using the code list. In this case, please program the remote control
by using the learn function.
The batteries are low or empty. Replace the batteries with new
batteries of the same type. See also the chapter Inserting the
batteries.
Some buttons do not work properly
It is possible that not all functions of your original remote control
are supported.
The code entered does not support all the functions of your device.
Try to find a code that matches your device better.
Program any buttons that do not work properly using the learn
function.
Before programming a device button using brand code search or
automatic search, please carry out a RESET for this button first. If
this device had previously been programmed using the learn
function, any learned keys would not be overwritten by the new
programming.
The LCD display does not work
The batteries are low or empty. Replace the batteries with new
batteries of the same type. See also the chapter Inserting the
batteries.
TOP Text buttons not working in Teletext mode
While the PLAYBACK function is enabled, the
recording/playback control buttons (5) are used to control the
selected tape or disc player. In this case, these buttons cannot be
used for the TV TOP Text functions.

Proper disposal of old devices prevents damage to the environment or
your health. For further information about proper disposal, contact your
local council, recycling centre or the shop where you bought the device.
Respect the environment. Old batteries do not belong in with domestic

not possible to solve the problem on the phone, our hotline support staff
will initiate further servicing procedures depending on the fault. Within the
warranty period the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge
as we deem appropriate. No new warranty period commences if the
product is repaired or replaced. Consumables such as batteries,
rechargeable batteries and lamps are not covered by the warranty.

Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich fr ein Produkt von SilverCrest entschieden
haben.
Die SilverCrest Universalfernbedienung SFB 10.1 C3, nachfolgend als
Fernbedienung bezeichnet, ist ein hochwertiges Gert mit einem groen
Funktionsumfang. Sie ist einfach in der Handhabung und besticht durch
ihr modernes Design. Die Fernbedienung ist lernfhig und daher geeignet
fr fast alle gngigen TVs und Set Top Boxen, Band- und Disc-Gerte.
Sie bietet Ihnen die Mglichkeit, die Funktionen von bis zu 10
unterschiedlichen Gerten der Unterhaltungselektronik komfortabel zu
bedienen.
Bestimmungsgeme Verwendung
Diese Fernbedienung ist ein Gert der Unterhaltungselektronik. Sie darf
nur zu privaten und nicht zu industriellen und kommerziellen Zwecken
verwendet werden. Auerdem darf die Fernbedienung nicht auerhalb
von geschlossenen Rumen und in tropischen Klimaregionen genutzt
werden. Diese Fernbedienung erfllt alle im Zusammenhang mit der CE-
Konformitt relevanten Normen und Standards. Bei eigenmchtigen
Umbauten der Fernbedienung und hieraus resultierenden Schden oder
Strungen ist jegliche Haftung seitens des Herstellers ausgeschlossen.

berprfung durch einen Fachmann durchgefhrt wurde.
Atmen Sie keinesfalls Rauch aus einem mglichen
Gertebrand ein. Sollten Sie dennoch Rauch eingeatmet
haben, suchen Sie einen Arzt auf. Das Einatmen von Rauch
kann gesundheitsschdlich sein.

Die Fernbedienung und das Zubehr darf nicht beschdigt
werden, um Gefhrdungen zu vermeiden.

Achten Sie darauf, dass keine offenen Brandquellen (z.B.
brennende Kerzen) auf oder neben der Fernbedienung
stehen. Es besteht Brandgefahr!

Die Fernbedienung darf keinen direkten Wrmequellen
(z.B. Heizungen) und keinem direkten Sonnenlicht oder
starkem Kunstlicht ausgesetzt werden. Vermeiden Sie auch
den Kontakt mit Spritz- und Tropfwasser und aggressiven
Flssigkeiten. Betreiben Sie die Fernbedienung nicht in der
Nhe von Wasser. Die Fernbedienung darf insbesondere
niemals untergetaucht werden (stellen Sie keine mit
Flssigkeiten gefllten Gegenstnde, z.B. Vasen oder
Getrnke auf oder neben die Fernbedienung). Vermeiden
Sie, dass die Fernbedienung starken Temperatur-
schwankungen ausgesetzt wird, da sonst Luftfeuchtigkeit
kondensieren und zu elektrischen Kurzschlssen fhren
kann. Wurde das Gert jedoch starken
Temperaturschwankungen ausgesetzt, warten Sie (ca. 2
Stunden) mit der Inbetriebnahme, bis das Gert die

weiterhin darauf, dass die Fernbedienung keinen
bermigen Erschtterungen und Vibrationen ausgesetzt
wird. Auerdem drfen keine Fremdkrper eindringen.
Andernfalls knnte die Fernbedienung beschdigt werden.

Die Fernbedienung besitzt eine Infrarotdiode, die der
Laserklasse 1 entspricht. Betrachten Sie diese Infrarotdiode
nicht mit optischen Gerten. Ansonsten besteht die Gefahr,
dass Ihre Augen verletzt werden.
Batterien

Legen Sie die Batterien stets polrichtig ein. Beachten Sie
dazu die Kennzeichnung auf den Batterien und im
Batteriefach. Versuchen Sie nicht, Batterien wieder
aufzuladen und werfen Sie diese unter keinen Umstnden
ins Feuer. Verwenden Sie keine unterschiedlichen Batterien
(alte und neue, Alkali und Kohle, usw.) gleichzeitig.
Aufladbare Akkus und Einwegbatterien drfen nicht
zusammen verwendet werden. Batterien drfen nicht
verformt oder geffnet werden, da evtl. Chemikalien
austreten knnen. Bei Haut- oder Augenkontakt mit den
Chemikalien muss sofort mit viel Wasser gesplt werden
und ein Arzt aufgesucht werden. Entnehmen Sie die
Batterien, wenn Sie die Fernbedienung ber einen
lngeren Zeitraum nicht verwenden, um Schden durch
Auslaufen zu vermeiden. Bei unsachgemem Gebrauch
besteht Explosions- und Auslaufgefahr.

Kinder und Personen mit Einschrnkungen
Elektrische Gerte gehren nicht in Kinderhnde. Auch Personen mit
Einschrnkungen sollten elektrische Gerte nur im Rahmen ihrer
Mglichkeiten verwenden. Lassen Sie Kinder und Personen mit
Einschrnkungen niemals unbeaufsichtigt elektrische Gerte benutzen.
Es sei denn, sie wurden entsprechend eingewiesen oder werden durch
eine fr Ihre Sicherheit zustndige Person beaufsichtigt. Kinder sollten
grundstzlich beaufsichtigt werden, damit sichergestellt werden kann,
dass sie mit diesem Gert nicht spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-
Wartung drfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgefhrt
werden. Kleinteile und Batterien knnen bei Verschlucken
lebensgefhrlich sein. Halten Sie auch die Verpackungsfolien fern.

Wartung / Reinigung
Reparaturarbeiten sind erforderlich, wenn die Fernbedienung beschdigt
wurde, z.B. wenn das Gertegehuse beschdigt ist, Flssigkeit oder
Gegenstnde ins Innere der Fernbedienung gelangt sind oder wenn sie
Regen oder Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt wurde. Reparaturarbeiten sind auch
erforderlich, wenn sie nicht einwandfrei funktioniert oder heruntergefallen

ist. Falls Sie Rauchentwicklung, ungewhnliche Gerusche oder Gerche
feststellen, entfernen Sie sofort die Batterien. In diesen Fllen darf die
Fernbedienung nicht weiter verwendet werden, bevor eine berprfung
durch einen Fachmann durchgefhrt wurde. Lassen Sie alle
Reparaturarbeiten nur von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal durchfhren.
ffnen Sie niemals das Gehuse der Fernbedienung. Reinigen Sie die
Fernbedienung nur mit einem sauberen, trockenen Tuch, niemals mit
aggressiven Flssigkeiten. Versuchen Sie nicht, das Gehuse der
Fernbedienung zu ffnen. Dabei wrde Ihr Garantieanspruch verfallen.
Betriebsumgebung

Das Gert ist nicht fr den Betrieb in Rumen mit hoher
Temperatur oder Luftfeuchtigkeit (z.B. Badezimmer) oder
bermigem Staubaufkommen ausgelegt.
Betriebstemperatur und Betriebsluftfeuchtigkeit: 5 C bis
35 C, max. 85 % rel. Feuchte.
Batterien einlegen

Programmierte Codes und die Spracheinstellung werden
permanent gespeichert und bleiben bei einem
Batteriewechsel erhalten.
Datum und Uhrzeit gehen verloren.
ffnen Sie das Batteriefach an der
Rckseite der Fernbedienung, indem Sie
den Batteriefachdeckel in Pfeilrichtung
abziehen. Legen Sie die Batterien, wie in
der nebenstehenden Abbildung gezeigt,
polrichtig ein. Die korrekte Polaritt ist im
Batteriefach und auf den Batterien
abgebildet. Verschlieen Sie das
Batteriefach wieder. Bei nachlassender
Funktion der Fernbedienung tauschen Sie
die Batterien gegen neue Batterien
gleichen Typs. Das Gert signalisiert Ihnen
nicht, wenn die Batteriekapazitt erschpft
ist.

Vor der Inbetriebnahme
Die Fernbedienung wird mit 2 Batterien Typ Mikro AAA, LR03, 1,5V
betrieben. Diese sind im Lieferumfang enthalten.
Im Auslieferzustand sind die Batterien
bereits im Batteriefach eingelegt. Sie
mssen zur Inbetriebnahme nur noch
den Plastikstreifen entfernen, der
zwischen Batterie und Batteriekontakt
eingelegt ist. Gehen Sie
folgendermaen vor:

Alle in dieser Anleitung beschriebenen Funktionen sind nur
fr den Fall gltig, dass der Tastaturaufbau Ihrer
Originalfernbedienung exakt dem der 10 in 1
Fernbedienung entspricht, was allerdings nur in den
seltensten Fllen zutreffen wird. Wenn aus diesem Grunde
nicht alle Funktionen Ihrer Originalfernbedienung
ausgefhrt werden knnen, stellt dieses keinen Mangel der
10 in 1 Fernbedienung dar.
Hinweise zu Warenzeichen/Markenrechten
Alle in dieser Anleitung und der beiliegende Gertecodeliste aufgefhrten
Marken- und Produktnamen sowie Warenzeichen sind Eigentum der
jeweiligen Hersteller und dienen lediglich der Produktbeschreibung sowie
der eindeutigen Identifizierung.
Inbetriebnahme
Nach dem Einlegen der Batterien startet das Display beleuchtet und ca.
nach einer Sekunde erscheint das Startfenster. Das Startfenster zeigt
Gert, Code, Wochentag und Uhrzeit. Voreingestellt sind hier TV,
Montag und 12.00AM. In diesem Startfenster knnen Sie das Gert, das
bedient werden soll, mit Hilfe der Gertetasten (4) wechseln. Gleichzeitig
wird jeweils der dem ausgewhlten Gert zugehrige eingestellte Code
angezeigt.
Drcken Sie kurz die Taste , um das aktuell gewhlte Gert mit
Wochentag und komplettem Datum anzeigen zu lassen. Wenn fr eine
gewisse Zeit keine Taste gedrckt wird, erlischt die Beleuchtung der
Fernbedienung. Die Leuchtdauer knnen Sie im Konfigurationsmen
individuell einstellen.

Mit dieser Taste rufen Sie die EPG-Funktion Ihres
Gertes auf, soweit vorhanden.

1. Halten Sie diese Taste fr 3 Sekunden gedrckt, um
das Konfigurationsmenu aufzurufen.
2. Ein kurzes Drcken schaltet von der Uhrzeit auf das
eingestellte Datum um. Nach ca. 30 Sekunden wird
automatisch wieder die Uhrzeit angezeigt. Alternativ
gelangen Sie durch Drcken der Taste wieder
zur Uhrzeit.
3. Bei Programmierung von Makros und Ereignis-Timern
besttigt diese Taste das Ende der eingegebenen
Befehlskette.
4. In der Funktion TAST.LERNEN bewirkt diese Taste
das Verlassen auf die vorgelagerte Menebene.

Programmnummern. Die Funktion ist abhngig von dem
gewhlten Gert. Drcken Sie zur Eingabe einer
zweistelligen Programmnummer zuerst die Taste
und dann die Programmnummer. Ein erneutes Drcken
der Taste bewirkt, dass wieder einstellige
Programmnummer eingegeben werden knnen.

Beleuchtung der Fernbedienung ein- /ausschalten
Die Konfigurationsmens
Drcken und halten Sie die Taste fr 3 Sekunden, um in das Men
zu gelangen. Das voreingestellte Untermenu ist SPRACHE. Um die
Fernbedienung Ihren Wnschen entsprechend zu programmieren,
navigieren Sie mit den Tasten zu dem gewnschten
Untermen oder drcken Sie um zum Startfenster zurckzukehren.
Drcken Sie , um in das ausgewhlte Untermen zu gelangen.

Sollte im Setup-Modus fr 30 Sekunden keine Eingabe
erfolgen springt die Fernbedienung zurck zum
Startfenster. Starten Sie ggf. Ihre Programmierung erneut.

sofern nicht whrend der Programmierung ein anderes Gert gewhlt
worden ist.
Im Konfigurationsmen nehmen sie folgende Einstellungen vor:

Einstieg in das Konfigurationsmen jeweils
solange (ca. 3 Sekunden) gedrckt werden muss,
bis das Display in den Setup-Modus wechselt.
Mensprache einstellen (SPRACHE)
Im Hauptmen SPRACHE haben Sie die Mglichkeit, die
Spracheinstellung der Fernbedienung Ihren Wnschen gem
anzupassen. Sie haben die Mglichkeit, die Mensprache auf eine der
folgenden Sprachen einzustellen: Englisch, Deutsch, Italienisch, Spanisch
oder Franzsisch. Gehen Sie dazu folgendermaen vor:

1. Drcken und halten Sie die Taste fr 3 Sekunden. Drcken
Sie , whlen Sie SPRACHE und drcken Sie .
Bei der Erstinstallation ist das Gert auf die englische Sprache eingestellt.
Daher erscheint als erster Punkt LANGUAGE.
2. Drcken Sie , whlen Sie eine der 5 angebotenen
Sprachen aus und besttigen Sie mit . Im Display erscheint OK.
Mit der Taste gelangen Sie im Men eine Ebene zurck. Um
direkt zum Startfenster zurckzukehren drcken Sie eine Gertetaste (4).
Programmierung der Fernbedienung (CODE EINR.)
In diesem Hauptmen knnen Sie die Fernbedienung Ihren Wnschen
entsprechend programmieren. Dazu stehen Ihnen folgende 3 Methoden
zur Verfgung:
1. Die Markencodesuche MARKE SUCHE. Sofern Ihr
Gertehersteller in der Code-Liste der Fernbedienung aufgefhrt ist,
ist diese die schnellste Programmiermethode.
2. Die automatische Codesuche AUTOM.SUCH.. Bei dieser Methode
werden alle in der Codeliste verfgbaren Codes durchlaufen und an
Ihr Gert gesendet. Diese Methode ist relativ zeitaufwendig.
3. Die direkte Code-Eingabe CODE FESTL.. Bei dieser Methode muss
manuell der aus der beiliegenden Gertecode-Liste entnommene
Code eingegeben werden.
Die nachfolgenden Bedienhinweise untersttzen Sie bei der
Programmierung Ihrer Fernbedienung mit den genannten
Programmiermethoden.

Bevor Sie eine Gertetaste per Markencodesuche oder
automatischer Suche programmieren, fhren Sie bitte fr
diese Gertetaste einen RESET durch. Falls nmlich fr
diese Gertetaste zuvor einmal eine Programmierung
per Lernfunktion stattgefunden hat, wrden angelernte
Tasten durch diese Programmierung nicht berschrieben.
Beachten Sie hierzu das Kapitel Auslieferzustand
wiederherstellen (RESET) auf der Seite 101.
Markencodesuche (MARKE SUCHE)
1. Whlen Sie mit einer Gertetaste das Gert, fr das Sie die
Programmierung vornehmen wollen.
2. Drcken und halten Sie die Taste fr 3 Sekunden.
3. Drcken Sie , whlen Sie CODE EINR. und
besttigen Sie mit .
4. Drcken Sie , whlen Sie MARKE SUCHE und
besttigen Sie mit . Im Display erscheint der alphabetisch erste
Markenname der vorprogrammierten Gerte.
5. Drcken Sie , um zu dem von Ihnen gewnschten
Markennamen zu navigieren, z.B. SilverCrest.
6. Um die gesuchte Marke schneller zu finden, knnen Sie ber den
Nummernblock (11) der Fernbedienung den Anfang des
Markennamens oder auch den kpl. Markennamen direkt eingeben.
Drcken Sie dann , um direkt zur ausgewhlten Marke zu
springen. Wenn nur der erste Buchstabe einer Marke eingegeben
wurde (z.B. S bei SilverCrest) springt bei Druck der Taste die
Deutsch - 95
Anzeige zum alphabetisch ersten Markennamen, der mit dem
Buchstaben S beginnt. Sie mssen dann mit den Tasten
manuell zur gewnschten Marke SilverCrest
weiternavigieren.
Den Tasten des Nummernblocks sind neben den Zahlen auch Buchstaben
oder Zeichen zugeordnet, die durch ein- oder mehrmaliges Drcken
ausgewhlt werden knnen. Die zugeordneten Buchstaben, bzw. Zeichen
entnehmen Sie dem Aufdruck auf den Zifferntasten.
Wenn ein Buchstabe ausgewhlt wurde und fr kurze Zeit kein
Tastendruck erfolgt, wird dieser Buchstabe bernommen und der nchste
Buchstabe kann angewhlt werden. Maximal knnen 11 Buchstaben
eines Markennamens eingegeben werden. Bei Fehleingaben drcken Sie
, um den letzten Buchstaben zu lschen und erneut einzugeben.
7. In der Regel verwenden die Gertehersteller verschiedene Codes fr
ihre Fernbedienungen. Jetzt gilt es den optimalen Code
herauszufinden. Unter dem Markennamen wird der aktuelle Code
angezeigt. Mit den Tasten knnen Sie alle hinterlegten Codes
der gewnschten Marke anwhlen.
8. Testen Sie nun einen ausgewhlten Code, indem Sie die
Fernbedienung auf Ihr Gert richten und probieren Sie, ob es korrekt
reagiert, wenn Sie eine Taste drcken. Fr diesen Test muss der
Setup-Modus nicht verlassen werden.
Ausgenommen fr diesen Funktionstest sind folgende Tasten:

9. Wenn ein Groteil der Tasten korrekt funktioniert, drcken Sie .
Der Code wird fr die vorher ausgewhlte Gertetaste gespeichert.
10. Falls keine oder nur einige Tasten korrekt funktionieren, whlen Sie
mit den Tasten den nchsten Code und testen diesen, wie unter
Punkt 8 beschrieben. Wiederholen Sie diese Prozedur solange, bis
Sie einen passenden Code gefunden haben.

Falls die Taste nicht mit einem Code belegt ist, werden fr die
verschiedenen Gerte folgende Codes gesendet:

4. Wenn Ihr Gert auf einen gesendeten Code reagiert, indem es sich
ein- oder ausschaltet oder eine der oben genannten Funktionen
ausfhrt, drcken Sie , um die Suche zu stoppen. Sie befinden
sich jetzt in der Nhe des gesuchten Codes, aber mglicherweise
nicht genau bei diesem, weil die automatische Suche verzgert
gestoppt wurde und schon weitere Codes gesendet wurden.
Whrend der automatischen Suche reagiert die Fernbedienung
ausschlielich auf die Tasten und .
5. Nachdem Sie mit der Taste die Suche gestoppt haben,
knnen Sie durch Drcken der Tasten die letzten,
bzw. die nchsten Codes im manuellen Suchmodus senden. Wenn
Ihr Gert jetzt erneut auf einen Code reagiert, haben Sie einen
passenden Code gefunden. Drcken Sie , um die automatische
Suche zu verlassen. Die Codes werden gespeichert und im Display
erscheint OK.
6. Oder drcken Sie , um die automatische Suche zu verlassen.
Die Codes werden in diesem Falle nicht gespeichert.
7. Wenn die Fernbedienung den letzten Code der Code-Liste
bertragen hat, wird die Suche gestoppt und nach kurzer Zeit wird
das Startfenster angezeigt.
Direkte Codeeingabe (CODE FESTL.)
2. Drcken Sie , whlen Sie CODE EINR. und drcken

4. Nun blinkt die erste Stelle des aktuell eingestellten 4-stelligen
Gertecodes.
5. Geben Sie nun den korrekten 4-stelligen Code fr das ausgewhlte
Gert mit den Zifferntasten ein. Den 4-stelligen Code entnehmen Sie
der mitgelieferten Gertecodeliste.
6. Besttigen Sie die Eingabe mit . Im Display erscheint OK und
danach CODE FESTL..
7. Ungltige CODES knnen in der CODE-Liste nicht gefunden werden.
Wenn der eingegebene CODE ungltig ist erscheint im Display N.

Flex-Mode
Den einzelnen Gertetasten sind jeweils Codelisten fr die spezielle
Gertegruppe hinterlegt. Im Normalfall belegen Sie die Gertetasten mit
dazu passenden Gerten, z.B. programmieren Sie den Videorecorder auf
die Gertetaste , den DVD-Player auf die Gertetaste
usw. Abweichend davon bietet die Funktion Flex-Mode die Mglichkeit,
die Tasten und mit einem Gert einer beliebigen
Gertegruppe zu programmieren. Voraussetzung dafr ist, dass der zu
programmierenden Taste oder die Codeliste der
Gertegruppe zugewiesen wird, zu der das Gert gehrt, das Sie dieser
Taste zuweisen wollen.
Die zur jeweiligen Gertegruppe gehrige Code-Liste (z.B. 0 bei TV, 2
bei DVD) entnehmen Sie bitte der folgenden Tabelle:

gewnschte Codeliste der Gertetaste einmal vorab zugewiesen wird.
Dazu gehen Sie vor wie im letzten Abschnitt beschrieben, whlen als
Code die Zahlenfolge 0001 gefolgt von der Nummer der gewnschten
Code-Liste (0-7). Die gewhlte Code-Liste ist nun fr Gertetaste

Tastaturbeleuchtung einstellen (LEUCHTDAUER)

4. Drcken Sie , um die Beleuchtung der Fernbedienung
in Schritten von 5 Sekunden auf eine Dauer zwischen 0 und 60
Sekunden einzustellen. Bei der Auswahl von 0 Sekunden bleibt die
Beleuchtung bei Tastendruck aus. Wird die Leuchtdauer auf 0
Sekunden eingestellt, kann trotzdem die Beleuchtung mit der Taste
manuell eingeschaltet werden. In diesem Fall leuchtet die
Beleuchtung fr 5 Sekunden.
Im Display erscheint OK und dann LEUCHTDAUER.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass aus einer lnger eingestellten
Leuchtdauer eine schnellere Ermdung der Batterien
resultiert.
Globale Lautstrkeregelung (LT.GEW.GER)
Die Funktion der globalen Lautstrkeregelung/Stummschaltung
ermglicht Ihnen, die Lautstrkeregelung fr ein Gert, welches keine
eigenstndige Lautstrkeregelung hat (z.B. DVD), auf ein anderes Gert
zu bertragen (z.B. TV). Der Vorteil besteht darin, dass Sie zur nderung
der Lautstrke nicht jedesmal vorher eine Gertetaste (in diesem Beispiel
TV) drcken mssen und danach wieder eine Gertetaste zum Wechsel
auf das wiedergebende Gert (in diesem Beispiel DVD).
Globale Lautstrke einstellen (EINH.LAUTST)
Einschalten:
1. Drcken und halten Sie die Taste fr mindestens 3 Sekunden.

Globale Laufwerkssteuerung (WIEDERGABE)
Diese Funktion ermglicht Ihnen die Bedienung eines Videorecorders,
DVD-Players oder Blu-Ray-Players mit den Laufwerkstasten (5), ohne zuvor
das zugehrige Gert mit den Gertetasten auswhlen zu mssen.
Voraussetzung fr diese Funktion ist, dass die entsprechende Gertetaste
mit einem fr das zu steuernde Gert gltigen Code belegt ist. Diese
Funktion ist beschrnkt auf die Gertetasten , , . Die
Standardeinstellung ist AUS.

Mit dieser Funktion knnen Sie eine oder mehrere Gertetasten sperren,
sodass das zugehrige Gert nicht lnger bedient werden kann. Die
Tasten und funktionieren uneingeschrnkt. Die den nicht
gesperrten Gertetasten zugewiesenen Gerte knnen weiterhin ohne
Einschrnkung bedient werden.

Konfigurationsmens. Wenn die Sperre aktiv ist, wird beim Aufruf eines
Konfigurationsmens im Display GESPERRT angezeigt. Sie haben
lediglich noch die Mglichkeit, die Sperre wieder aufzuheben.

das Display wechselt zum Startfenster.
Die Lernfunktion (LERNEN)
Programmierung ber Lernfunktion (TAST.LERNEN)
Mit dieser Funktion werden einzelne Tasten eines ausgewhlten Gertes
angelernt.
1. Drcken Sie die Gertetaste des Gertes, fr das Sie die
Programmierung vornehmen mchten.
3. Drcken Sie , whlen Sie LERNEN und besttigen
Sie mit .
4. Drcken Sie , whlen Sie TAST.LERNEN und
besttigen Sie mit .
5. Im Display erscheint die Anzeige TAST.WHLEN.
Es knnen alle Tasten mit Ausnahme der Gertetasten angelernt werden.
6. Drcken Sie nun die Taste, die angelernt werden soll. Im Display
erscheint WARTE
7. Platzieren Sie die Originalfernbedienung so, dass deren IR-LED und
die IR-LED (2) der 10in1 Fernbedienung gegeneinander liegen und
nur einen Abstand von maximal ca. 5cm haben.
8. Jetzt drcken Sie auf der Originalfernbedienung die Taste, deren
Funktion Sie kopieren mchten. Die erfolgreiche bernahme des
Tastencodes wird durch die Anzeige OK besttigt.
9. Wiederholen Sie die Punkte 5 bis 8 fr alle Tasten, die Sie anlernen
mchten.
10. Wenn die bertragung des Originalcodes nicht funktioniert oder
innerhalb von ca. 30 Sekunden kein Code gesendet wird, erscheint
im Display die Meldung FEHLER. Wiederholen Sie in diesem Fall
die Punkte 5 bis 8.

Das Verlassen des Lernmodus ist durch Drcken der Taste
mglich, sofern im Display TAST.WHLEN angezeigt wird. Der Druck
auf eine Gertetaste bringt Sie zurck zum Startfenster.

Falls es Probleme beim Anlernen der Codes geben sollte,
knnte dieses evtl. mit schwachen Batterien der
Originalfernbedienung zusammenhngen. Wechseln Sie
diese gegebenenfalls aus.

ausgewhlten Gertes gelscht.

Die Makrofunktion (MAKRO)
Mit der Makrofunktion knnen Sie bis zu 16 Befehle fr ein Gert
speichern, die dann durch Drcken einer einzigen Taste fortlaufend
ausgefhrt werden.
Beispiel: TV einschalten > Programm 11 whlen > Videotext einschalten >
Videotextseite 222 anwhlen.
Makro programmieren
2. Drcken Sie , whlen Sie MAKRO und besttigen
Sie mit .
3. Drcken Sie , whlen Sie MAKRO1 (oder
MAKRO2.. MAKRO6) und besttigen Sie mit .
4. Im Display erscheint EINRICHTUNG. Besttigen Sie mit der Taste
.
5. Wenn ein Makro gewhlt wird, dem schon eine Befehlskette
hinterlegt wurde, erscheint im Display SCHON EING.. In diesem
Fall mssen Sie vor der Eingabe dieses Makro lschen oder Sie
whlen ein anderes freies Makro.
6. Im Display wird jetzt das aktuell gewhlte Gert angezeigt.
7. Geben Sie nun die gewnschte Befehlskette ber die Tasten ein.
Beginnen Sie in jedem Fall mit der Gertetaste des Gertes, fr
welches das Makro gelten soll, ansonsten erhalten Sie die Meldung
TASTENFEHL.
8. Im Standard werden die einzelnen Makrobefehle in Abstnden von
jeweils einer Sekunde gesendet. Da diese Abfolge fr einige Gerte
zu schnell ist, haben Sie die Mglichkeit, den Zeitabstand zwischen
den einzelnen Befehlen in 2-Sekunden-Schritten auf 5 bis 21
Sekunden zu vergrern.
9. Drcken Sie dazu die Taste nach einem Tastenbefehl. Mit jedem
Drcken wird die Pausenzeit nach dem letzten Befehl um 2
Sekunden vergrert und der eingestellte Wert im Display
angezeigt.
10. Nach Eingabe der kompletten Befehlskette drcken Sie . Im
Display wird OK angezeigt.
Sie knnen inklusive der Gertetaste maximal 16 Tasten je Makro
drcken. Danach wird das Makro automatisch bernommen und im
Display wird OK angezeigt.
Makro ausfhren
1. Drcken Sie die Taste .
2. Drcken jetzt innerhalb von 5 Sekunden die dem gewnschten
Makro zugehrige Zifferntaste 1-6.
3. Die zuvor fr dieses Makro programmierte Befehlskette wird jetzt
gesendet.

Falls nach dem Drcken der Taste die entsprechende Zifferntaste
nicht innerhalb von 5 Sekunden gedrckt wird, oder eine wenn falsche
Taste, die keinem Makro zugeordnet ist, gedrckt wird, leuchtet die
Beleuchtung der Fernbedienung 4 mal kurz auf.

Favoritenkanal konfigurieren (FAV SENDER)
Diese Funktion wird nur in den Modi TV, DSAT, CBL und AUX (sofern die
AUX-Gertetaste entsprechend programmiert ist) untersttzt. Sie knnen
bevorzugte Sender als Favoriten abspeichern.

jedem Speicherplatz knnen maximal 6 Eingaben (Ziffern oder -/- -)
abgespeichert werden. Die eingegebenen Ziffern werden nicht im
Display angezeigt. Nach der Eingabe drcken Sie , um die
Eingabe zu speichern. Im Display erscheint OK. Anschlieend wird
Ihnen der nchste Favoritenplatz im Display angezeigt, den Sie
nutzen knnen. Drcken Sie , um einen anderen
Favoritenplatz zu whlen.
7. Wenn 6 Tasten auf einem Speicherplatz eingegeben wurden, wird
dieser nach Eingabe der 6. Taste automatisch gespeichert. Im
Display erscheint OK. Anschlieend wird Ihnen die nchste
Favoritenplatz im Display angezeigt, den Sie nutzen knnen.
Drcken Sie , um einen anderen Favoritenplatz zu
whlen.
8. Wenn Sie einen bereits belegten Favoritenplatz whlen, wird dieser
durch Ihre Eingabe berschrieben.

Favoriten ausfhren
Drcken Sie die Taste einmal, bzw. mehrmals, um die
gespeicherten Favoriten-Sender der Reihe nach aufzurufen. Sind Sie beim
letzten gespeicherten Favoriten-Sender angelangt, geht die Auswahl
wieder von vorne los.

Es ist nur mglich, alle Favoritenkanle gleichzeitig zu lschen. Ein
einzelner Favoritenkanal kann nicht gelscht, sondern nur berschrieben
werden.

Die Timer-Funktion (TIMER)
SCHLAFTIMER
Mit dieser Funktion knnen Sie einstellen, dass sich ein ausgewhltes
Gert nach einer ausgewhlten Zeit abschaltet.
3. Drcken Sie , whlen Sie TIMER und besttigen Sie
mit .
4. Drcken Sie , whlen Sie SCHLAFTIMER und
besttigen Sie mit . Im Display erscheint FESTL. TIMER und
darunter als Vorschlagszeit eine 30. Die erste Stelle blinkt.
5. Geben Sie mit den Zifferntasten einen Wert zwischen 01 und 99
Minuten ein. Besttigen Sie mit . Im Display erscheint OK und
anschlieend SCHLAFTIMER.
6. Ein programmierter SCHLAFTIMER wird Ihnen links im Display
durch das Symbol angezeigt.
Ereignistimer (TIMER 1.TIMER 4)
Die Fernbedienung verfgt ber 4 Ereignis-Timer, die es Ihnen
ermglichen, ausgewhlte Tastenkombinationen zu voreingestellter Zeit
zu senden.

3. Drcken Sie , whlen Sie einen gewnschten TIMER
1 bis TIMER 4 und besttigen Sie mit . Im Display erscheint
eine 4-stellige Zeitanzeige. Die ersten beiden Stellen, die die Stunde
angeben, blinken. Hier stellen Sie die Uhrzeit ein, zu der die
gewnschte Tastenkombination gesendet wird.
4. Mit den Zifferntasten knnen Sie eine Uhrzeit von 00:00 bis 23:59
einstellen. Mit den Tasten knnen Sie zwischen den einzelnen
Stellen der 4-stelligen Zeitanzeige wechseln, z.B. um Fehleingaben
zu korrigieren. Besttigen Sie die eingestellte Uhrzeit mit .

Die Timer-Uhrzeit wird immer im 24-Stunden-Format
eingegeben. Wenn Sie bei der Grundeinstellung der
Fernbedienung die Uhrzeit auf das 12-Stunden-Format
eingestellt haben, beachten Sie bitte Folgendes:
Die Fernbedienung rechnet in dieser Funktion automatisch
vom 24-Stunden-Format ins 12-Stunden-Format um.
Beispiel: Um einen Timer fr 03:30PM zu programmieren
geben Sie 15:30 ein.
5. Drcken Sie nun die Gertetaste des gewnschten Gertes und
geben Sie dann die gewnschte Befehlskette (maximal 14 Tasten)
ein, die zur voreingestellten Zeit gesendet werden soll.
Vor Eingabe der Befehlskette ist unbedingt eine Gertetaste zu drcken.
Ansonsten erscheint im Display die Meldung TASTENFEHL.
6. Im Standard werden die einzelnen Timerbefehle in Abstnden von
jeweils einer Sekunde gesendet. Da diese Abfolge fr einige Gerte
zu schnell ist, haben Sie die Mglichkeit, den Zeitabstand zwischen
den einzelnen Befehlen in 2-Sekunden-Schritten auf 5 bis 21

8. Sie knnen inklusive der Gertetaste maximal 15 Tasten je Ereignis-
Timer drcken. Danach wird die Programmierung automatisch
bernommen und im Display wird OK angezeigt.
9. Bei Bedarf knnen Sie weitere Ereignis-Timer in gleicher Art und
Weise programmieren.
10. Ein programmierter Ereignis-Timer wird Ihnen links im Display durch
das Symbol angezeigt.
Nach Ablauf eines Ereignis-Timers wird dieser automatisch gelscht.
Timer lschen
Sie knnen einen programmierten Timer (SCHLAFTIMER, TIMER 1 bis
TIMER 4)lschen, indem Sie folgendermaen vorgehen:

Im Display wird LSCHEN angezeigt. Besttigen Sie mit . Im
Display wird OK angezeigt. Der gewhlte Timer ist gelscht. Im

(SCHLAFTIMER, TIMER 1 bis TIMER 4).
Die Funktion All on/All off
Falls Sie Ihre Fernbedienung fr die Bedienung von mehreren Gerten
programmiert haben, ermglicht Ihnen diese Funktion das gleichzeitige
Ein- oder Ausschalten aller programmierten Gerte mit nur einem
Tastendruck. Halten Sie dazu die Taste (3) fr einige Sekunden
gedrckt. Jetzt werden alle programmierten Gerte ein-, bzw.
ausgeschaltet. In Abhngigkeit von der Anzahl der programmierten
Gerte kann dieser Vorgang bis zu 10 Sekunden dauern. Folgende
Voraussetzungen sind fr diese Funktion notwendig:
Sichtverbindung zwischen Fernbedienung und jedem zu
schaltenden Gert.
Alle zu schaltenden Gerte mssen fr Ein-, bzw. Auschalten per
Fernbedienung geeignet sein.
Automatische Code-Suche, Markencodesuche und Makrofunktion
sind nicht aktiviert.
Problemlsung
Gert reagiert nicht auf Befehle der Fernbedienung
Prfen Sie, ob an der Fernbedienung das korrekte Gert
ausgewhlt wurde.
Richten Sie die Fernbedienung direkt auf Ihr Gert.
Prfen Sie, ob die Fernbedienung mit dem korrekten, zu Ihrem
Gert passenden Code programmiert wurde.
Mglicherweise ist Ihr Gert nicht kompatibel fr die
Programmierung ber die Code-Liste. In diesem Fall
programmieren Sie die Fernbedienung ber die Lernfunktion.
Die Batterien sind schwach oder leer. Bitte ersetzen Sie die
Batterien gegen neue Batterien des gleichen Typs. Beachten Sie
dazu das Kapitel Batterien einlegen.
Einige Tasten funktionieren nicht korrekt
Mglicherweise werden nicht alle Funktionen Ihrer
Originalfernbedienung untersttzt.
Der eingegebene Code untersttzt nicht alle Funktionen Ihres
Gertes. Suchen Sie einen Code, der besser zu Ihrem Gert passt.
Programmieren Sie fehlerhaft funktionierende Tasten mit der
Lernfunktion.
Bevor Sie eine Gertetaste per Markencodesuche oder
automatischer Suche programmieren, fhren Sie bitte fr diese
Gertetaste einen RESET durch. Falls nmlich fr diese Gertetaste
zuvor einmal eine Programmierung per Lernfunktion stattgefunden
hat, wrden angelernte Tasten durch diese Programmierung nicht
berschrieben.
Die LCD-Anzeige funktioniert nicht
Die Batterien sind schwach oder leer. Bitte ersetzen Sie die
Batterien gegen neue Batterien des gleichen Typs. Beachten Sie
dazu das Kapitel Batterien einlegen.

Keine Funktion der TOP-Text-Tasten im Videotext-Modus
Bei aktivierter Funktion WIEDERGABE sind die Laufwerkstasten
(5) vorrangig fr das ausgewhlte Band-, bzw. Disc-Gert aktiv. In
diesem Fall knnen Sie diese Tasten nicht fr die TOP-Text-Funktion
Ihres TV nutzen.
Umwelthinweise und Entsorgungshinweise
Die mit diesem Symbol gekennzeichneten Gerte
unterliegen der europischen Richtlinie 2002/96/EC. Alle
Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgerte mssen getrennt vom
Hausmll ber dafr staatlich vorgesehene Stellen entsorgt
werden.
Mit der ordnungsgemen Entsorgung des alten Gertes vermeiden Sie
Umweltschden und eine Gefhrdung der persnlichen Gesundheit.
Weitere Informationen zur Entsorgung des alten Gertes erhalten Sie bei
der Stadtverwaltung, beim Entsorgungsamt oder in dem Geschft, in dem
Sie das Produkt erworben haben.
Denken Sie an den Umweltschutz. Verbrauchte Batterien gehren nicht in
den Hausmll. Sie mssen bei einer Sammelstelle fr Altbatterien
abgegeben werden. Bitte beachten Sie, dass Batterien nur im entladenen
Zustand in die Sammelbehlter fr Gerte-Altbatterien gegeben werden
drfen, bzw. bei nicht vollstndig entladenen Batterien, Vorsorge gegen
Kurzschlsse getroffen werden muss.
Fhren Sie auch die Verpackung einer umweltgerechten Entsorgung zu.
Kartonagen knnen bei Altpapiersammlungen oder an ffentlichen
Sammelpltzen zur Wiederverwertung abgegeben werden. Folien und
Kunststoffe des Lieferumfangs werden ber Ihr rtliches
Entsorgungsunternehmen eingesammelt und umweltgerecht entsorgt.
