Short summary
of the content
Info lecture about the Team and Formula Student. This includes
general information and detailed technical information of different
parts of their racecar. After the lecture the participants can take a
close look on specific parts and we also plan to make a short show-
run with the racecar. In the end a Q&A.

Name of activity Computer aided performance analysis and pervasive computing

Type of activity Two theoretical lectures and two practical sessions on pervasive
computing (sport clothes needed)
Short summary
of the content
Monday 10-13: Lecture about modeling in sports and recent
applications to several game sports.
Tuesday 10-13: Lecture about basics of pervasive computing and
introduction of a recent project, the Mobile Motion Advisor (MMA).
Tuesday 14-17: Using the MMA the participants will perform the
Rockport Walking Fitness Test and the One Mile Track Jog to
determine the VO2max values. Eventually, the students will analyze
the collected data.
Wednesday 10-13: Beat my activity using the MMA: During a soccer
match the participants get feedback on their performance level
compared to all other players. Finally, we would like to start a
discussion about the use of the MMA (pervasive computing) and the
technical background.

Name of activity The Austrian Olympic Committee on the Road to Sochi

the content
Presentation about the Austrian Olympic Committee (history,
organization, structure!) and the project management for the
Olympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi. The presentation will especially
focus on the challenges the Austrian Olympic Committee faced in the
fields of sports preparation and marketing. In the field of sports, the
areas of accreditation, logistics, medical services and village
management will be explained and discussed. The main focus in the
area of marketing lies on the Austria Tirol House as well as the
outfitting of our team. After the presentation there will be time for
extensive Q&A as well as discussion about mega sports events
