NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION

Every month of July , we are celebrating the month of Nutrition. This year
theme , SA PAGA!NG TA"A AT SAPAT , #AST$NG T!"%ANG N! %A%& ANG
ATAPAT.'
!t is right an( )ro)er that we have to *now )ro)er nutrition. %y )ro)er
nutrition means you are eating the right foo( an( the right amount nee(e( by your
bo(y at your own age. $therwise, if this (oes not meet the re+uirements you may
be un(er nourishe( or overnourishe(.
$ur bo(y nee(s the foo( nutrients such as carbohy(rates, )rotein, vitamins
an( minerals. !t is goo( to *now the three basic foo( grou)s an( the nutrients it
will give to us.!t (oes not mean that we are going to eat all of them. At least in
every meal we have ta*e all the necessary foo( nutrients re+uirements.
$f course , you shoul( also remember that you have to (rin* the right
amount of clean an( safe water , have enough slee), rest an( e,ercise. Avoi(
ta*ing un)rescribe(
(rugs an( me(icine.
The essence of celebrating July as "onth of Nutrition (oes not mean that
you have to observe only )ro)er nutrition in this month but it shoul( be (one
every(ay es)ecially in ta*ing the meals. $ur school , "en(e- .rossing Elementary
School observe( ,celebrate(, an( )artici)ate( in this )rogram.
Objectives:
a. To enlighten an( refresh every )u)ils the value of )ro)er nutrition.
b. To observe )ro)er eating habits.
c. To hel) in (ecreasing malnutrition in "en(e- .rossing.
Activities Undertaken
/. The school furnishe( streamer for the cam)aign entitle( Sa Pag*aing Tama
at Sa)at, #astong Timbang no %aby ang ata)at' an( have it in front of
school.
0. The integration of the theme in every sub1ect from Gra(e !2 Gra(e 3! such as
Science, "athematics an( E.P.P.
4. !nformation (rive by lecturing of %arangay .ouncilwoman, .hairman, 5ealth
an( Nutrition 6owena 7. "allari every "on(ay right after the flag ceremony.
8. .on(uct survey on nutritional status of )u)ils an( use as basic for fee(ing the
un(ernourishe( )u)ils.
9. .on(uct fee(ing for the un(ernourishe( )u)ils through through the effort of the
school an( the :G;<S.
=. The highlight of activities centers on the )ara(e of )u)ils, teachers an(
)arents of July 4>, 0>/> an( the )rogram on Nutrition.

Recommendation
The )rogram shoul( continue through out the year. #e have to see to it the
foo( serve( to )u)ils are nutritious an( clean. @ee(ing Programs will continue an(
this shoul( be observe( by )u)ils not only in our schools but also in their homes.

sayaw na i)ina*ita ng lahat ng bata mula sa una hanggang i*aanim na
