Heart attacks, obesity, diabetes and the great modern unhealthiness epidemic is one of the greatest concerns to the average person today with most unaware. Eat nothing except that which is of Prophetic Tradition and one should be strong, healthy, and physically and mentally fit. Truly this body is only a trust from Allah so we must respect it take care of it and keep it clean, pure, fit and able. Poor diet is the greatest slavery of the modern world and the greatest manipulation of cult-style programming dating back centuries and the remnants of those dynasties see peasant diets living on in modern cultures along with a new medical crime syndicate based diet based on modern advances in technology.
Unhealthy diet is more often than an addiction which can take anywhere from a week to 6 months to be healed from given that the stomach flora is a whole environment of good and bad bacteria that are calibrated to the most recent eating over several years with the prior days more weighted in the formula than the ones further away. Mathematically, the stomach expects a weighted sum which logarithmically decreases over time from what was previously eaten. That only considers the stomach and the entire body is of course influenced by the stomach as the body searches there first for nutrients, minerals and vitamins or essential fatty acids when it needs something whether it be for the immune system or other organ systems. Diet reprogramming will often take several weeks to feel normal and healthy again and a sluggish, weak and lazy type of effect is felt not too different from any other type of addiction as the gut suffers the drastic shock of the reprogramming given that changing 90% of that weighted sum takes a few weeks and then the last 10% can be done over the remaining months without much influence on mood, behavior or lifestyle.
