TTS Business Analyst
Congratulations! Whether you have been a TTS Business Analyst for years, or are just joining the
ranks, you are taking a great step in your development by beginning your Learning Plan. The
Learning Plan is intended to help you identify, pursue, and track the learning activities which will
be most helpful to you in your Target career.

Of course not every Business Analyst is created equal. No problem. Depending on your previous
experiences and courses, you might use every resource and activity on this Learning Plan or you
might use just a few. Its designed for you, so work with your supervisor to customize it to your
training and development. Activity doesnt apply to you? Delete it. Want to do something not on
here? Add it. This is your development and your Learning Plan, so you own it.

Learning Plan Guidelines
If you are new in role:
1. Phase I
a. Browse the core and elective curriculum below. Curriculum is organized into
themes, and high priority themes are listed first.
b. Use the status template to discuss your training goals in status with your Manager.
2. Phase II
a. Create a development plan between you and your Manager for continued focus on
training and development.
b. Use the development tracking sheet every month to track your training
accomplishments.
c. Continue development discussions with your Manager.
d. Revisit your job familys Learning Plan for quarterly updates.

If you have been in role for 12 months or longer:
1. Discuss your training goals with your Manager.
2. Browse core and elective curriculum below to determine what fits for you. Curriculum is
organized into themes, and high priority themes are listed first.
3. Use the status template to discuss your training goals and create a development plan
for continued focus on training and development.
4. Use the development tracking sheet and revisit every month to track your training
accomplishments.
5. Continue development discussions with your Manager.
6. Revisit your job familys Learning Plan for quarterly updates.

Most of your learning doesnt happen in the classroom. It comes from doing the job. Thats the
